Green View Resort in Anuradhapura

Excellent and speedy service! Wonderfully clean and maintained hotel. Our stay was very relaxing and comfortable! The food was very delicious!

Stayed for two nights and three days. Romms were very clean and had a balcony. The food was delicious, portions were good and prices were reasonable as well. The pool was good and clean too. Also superb service by the staff and front-desk.

Really nice and comfotable resort. Confatable rooms and friendly staff 100% recommend for the family stay.Near to Anuradhapura Jayasrimabodhiya, Ruwanweli maha seya and other all anciant places.Clean and quality Swimming pool available and can access to Nuwara wewa within 5minute and walking distence for natural bath.

Nice pool, Nice room, Nice view. But, they are so poor in service. We wanted to go to a party and come back to the hotel around 3am. But the manager was so rude to us and He wanted us to come back before 10. We pay and stay there to enjoy our holiday, our fun times. We didnt expect something like this from them. This happened in mid of feb 2022

Really friendly staff, active and concerned of maintaining their quality.Rooms are hotel standard, cleaned and maintained well.Food are from an ala carte menu, not much of a variety but the portion sizes and taste of whats available is great.Extremely satisfied, although their prices are lower,.. it is comparable to other high end stays in the area

Portions are larger than you think.Clean bed rooms and bath rooms.Rooms with balcony has nice view.1.6km to Isurumuniya and 2.3km to Sri Maha Bodhiya. Very convenient.Kiri Ahara pooja is prepared in time.Clean kitchen.Parking space available.Small pool for a relaxing dip.I recommend it for both local and foreign travellers.Clearly this place would be our staying place whenever we go to Anuradhapura.

A very modern, clean and pleasant hotel with spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, good quality food provided and very friendly and supportive staff. Would recommend to anyone.

All staff categories are very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness and room arrangements were in highly satisfied. Only one issue was lack of parking space. Food arrangement as our requirement and timely served. Delicious Local, Chinese and English menus are available. Highly recommended as your destination in Anuradhapura .

I just went to the hotel not to stay but i reach a top floor. So balcony view is average good thing is wind is go through there so even very hot day you can stay here without ac i think this place is good for couples.

You can access hotel easily via Kurunegala (A28or Puttlam (A12roads, and the hotel is located by the side of A28 main road on proximity to Vessagiriya.Hotel rooms and main views of the hotel is facing a beautiful paddy field alongside with the river bunk of Tissa Wewa. Rooms are well equipped with luxuries facilities. Recreational lobby areas and a pool facing the paddy field. Food is delicious and served on a-la-carte. You can access the sacred city easily from the hotel.Overall the hotel stays worth every penny of its cost (not expensiveand once stay can bring inner peace of your mind.

We stayed in this hotel for seven days .It was the first hotel stay for my 4 month old daughter .It s all about making feel like home. The food is delicious and they pay attention to the nutritional value. Cleanliness is high and rooms are thoroughly cleaned daily. We came here to stay for academic research. That academic work was very well done. Situated in a tranquil setting and surrounded by green paddy fields, this lodge is ideal for academics. The owners are also very friendly. This is indeed a great accommodation. From here it is only a short distance to all the places of worship in Anuradhapura.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The staff were amazing, taking care of us from beginning to end. The food was yummy, and there was lots of it, and the views were exactly as named - luscious green! I highly recommend a stay here if youre in the area 😊

Amazing hotel! Rooms are very affordable and clean. Bathroom facilities are modern and clean as well. The name Green View is completely true as well as the hotel has some beautiful 180 degree views of the surrounding paddy fields. Absolutely beautiful during sunset and even better when enjoying it in their outdoor pool. The food isnt bad but could use some improvement. Would definitely recommend this resort!

The hotel stay was very pleasant and comfortable. The staff was very polite and helpful (specially the person who meets all the guests at the entrance, the location was very convenient for reaching to all the sacred places. Foods are very delicious.but I have only one suggestion:its much better to set a light on a mirror(room).Totally all are perfect. If we travel to anuradhapura again, we will definitely stay there.

This place exceeded my expectation as a customer during my visit. Staff and the owner is very friendly. Rooms, specially bathrooms are very clean without any odor. Hot water available. My family really love that amazing balcony view. Specially, the hotel architecture is very attractive, even for a house. Foods also good. Only thing is foods prices need to consider because for a set menu, I was charged separately and bit high (550 LKR for one portion chicken dish).

One of the best places to stay. The pool is kind of clean. Since it’s open sometimes insects and leaves fall onto the pool . The manager and the staff are really friendly. Food is awesome. The view outside is just great. WiFi and parking are available. Rooms are really clean and hot water is available.

Very good place to stay in Anuradhapura. 2.5km from New town anuradhapura. 400m from 2nd mile post. So close to vessagiriya. Walking distance to the thissa wewa.. very good view with paddy field. Restaurant with pool was so amazing. Owner & staff are very friendly & helpful. Well maintained place. Airconditioned rooms with Flat screen tv. Bathroom also well cleaned. Highly recommend place to stay.

Ok place. Relatively clean. Rooms facing the paddy fields are relaxing. Good service. Had issues with food quantity. It was ok later on. Value for money.They dont accept credit cards.

This place was one of the best resorts we have stayed in. Everything from the room to the pool was superb. Staff was super friendly, carried out bags and offered us drinks after a hot day. One issue was that the TV wasnt working for our room, everything else was great. Would LOVE to come back!

It is not clean as it looks from the out side. They had given me used pillows and the floor was sticky. Bed spreads were half size of the bed and standards are no where near to what they charge for the room. Guy at the reception wasn’t friendly at all. Better to look for another place.

It was my first time to visit green view with my family. Such a wonderful place with peaceful surrounding. Rooms are perfectly clean. Bath rooms are well equipped with towels, soaps and shampoos. Beautiful breeze and view of tisa lake and paddy fields. Small swimming pool but ideal for chilling. Most importantly staff and mangment were so helpful and friendly. Food was great. Overall a best place in town. It was luxurious comparing to other expensive places. We will definitely be back. And highly recommending for people who is looking for a decent stay in Anuradhapura.

Super close to temples and other amenities. A new outdoor pool is on its way. Very much enjoyed our stay. Look forward to returning...
