Green Apple Coffee House in Welland

This exquisite coffee shop is perfect for meeting with friends and/or studying while enjoying a good lake view! Their apply green latte is a must try. They offer a variety of tasty baked goodies that are reasonably priced. The shop is spacious and has a beautiful patio. Staff are courteous and provide efficient customer service.

I was employed here for roughly 3 months and then was told (via text messageto not show up for any more shifts because I did not disclose my vaccination status. It says something when an employer terminates a dedicated employee for holding their own integrity/moral ground.

My husband, son and I stopped in yesterday (August 14, 2022for a coffee and dessert. We have been a few times before, and up until now I probably would have given this place a 4 star rating. We sat in the dining area to enjoy our food but unfortunately the ambience was not happening. This was because the restaurant had a big table and the big drink dispensers in the dining area. These were clearly used during Canal Days (an annual festival in Port Colbornethat ran from July 29-August 1. The dispensers had clearly not been attended to since then, with liquid sitting in them, some of which had moulded. You can’t have had zero time to clean your equipment in the 2 weeks that have passed. It was a real turn off sitting next to mould festering in the dispenser and we left. Assuming this gets the owner’s attention and I will not have to report this to public health.

Great place!! I stopped in to get a cappuccino I got biscotti with dark chocolate in it and a cranberry with white chocolate chip cookie and both were awesome!! The cappuccino I got was also great I did get a double espresso shot in it tho but that’s the way I like it but after I got 2 lbs and all my stuff I was pleasantly surprised at the price I think it was very affordable and very competitive with regards to prices I think they will do well!!! Give them a try!!

Owner ripped off an elderly family member of mine, hasn’t made a single effort to pay her back and blocked all communication with us. Go ahead and delete this Jesse but I hope you feel guilty.

Stopped in for 4 drinks, but they were out of trays. The guy offered to help me carry the drinks out but I was walking home, so he looked all over the store for solutions and found me a box that perfectly fix 4 cups. Really appreciate the extra effort :)

They told my friend she was resigning because she wasnt able to get the jab. Talk about being a hospitable environment.

The green apple homes some of the cheeriest people in these trying times. We were visiting for the weekend and had some questions about the area, the young man inside answered all of our questions and even gave us some sight seeing advice. 10/10 experience and we cant wait to come back!

The guy behind the counter looked like death rolled over, but friendly voice and pleasant ambiance. Overall a great trip, get that kid some of the coffee you guys make!

The gem spot in the town! Enjoyed professionally made coffee drinks made with proper espresso machine and gormet delish desserts. Lovely and clean atmosphere, except from the washroom. Went every day during our visiting at Port colborne! I would stop here again.

The textbook definition of Community goldmine. The baristas there are the definition of hospitable, delicious treats and even better coffee. Would definitely recommend.

Exceptional. Wanted to come in the evening, but thanks to COVID, Green Apple had to close early. Did that stop them? No! They kindly prepped my order outside and protected it for my early evening pickup.Serving snacks like a BOSS! Glad to have them in our town, they made our night. If the coffee is the apple, the service is the whole orchard.

The Green Apple is a very cute little coffee shop right by Port Promenade. We made it a day at the port by having lunch on a beach with fish and chips and stopping by for a great and coffee here. Highly recommend this joint. PS their safety protocol is very appreciative.

I am editing my review. After posting my initial bad review, I was contacted (within hoursby the owner, who was extremely gracious. They explained about their current training re: allergens for the employees, and addressed my concerns regarding ingredient knowledge for customers. They have extended an offer for me to come back and give them another opportunity to set things right, at their expense. I am going to do that. Their response was fantastic, timely, and very appreciated. My first review was:I have been here 3 times. The first time, I requested a milk alternative (due to an allergyand my latté was made with regular milk. The girl came out and told me halfway thru me drinking it. The second time, there were barely any food options, and I requested to know if there was dairy in something. The worker had no idea. The 3rd time, I asked to know if anything was dairy-free. The worker didnt know. I asked if there was a list of the ingredients that we could check, and was told "no, we dont give out the recipes". So... not too thrilled. I didnt ask for a recipe. I asked to check what was in it, since nobody seems to know anything. All in all, not a good experience, ever.

Good place for a quiet coffee date. The expanded seating area works well. Staff were courteous and attentive.

I love coming here. Their coffee is great! Try their mocha you wont be disappointed! I also love they have local coffee beans to purchase. I go their to pick up my coffee every week. This is a great place and they have an adorable seating area so you can get cozy with a hot cup of tea, or bring your laptop and power through some work.

The folks at green apple cafe won my respect when I started going there daily with my wife and 24 month old son for our daily coffee , and my son loves there baked goods it is our favourite coffee shop in town and has remained or tradition to come here whenever possible.

The most inspiring place to have coffee in Port Colborne. Come here to escape the outside noise of the world. Sit and write, its a great atmosphere to be around the servers are friendly. The coffee is beyond measure delicatable. I literally walk a half hour everyday to absorb the expierience of the protein balls wrapped in that peanut butter. Very delicious food. Iced coffee my personal favourite. The way it makes tastebuds tingle with delicate delight. This is nothing but dream come true in Port Colborne my home town. The place that I hope will expand because this is a company that is meant to be successful. Its grown with inspiration noted. A magnificent place to gather. Love everything the Green Apple Coffee House has to offer. Drip coffee please, satisfying indeed.

Great cold brew coffee. The sugar free syrups are sweetened with erythritol so are Keto approved. Will be back soon!

An off day perhaps? Coffee was weak and somewhat worse than TH though the cup was eco friendly. It didnt help that I added too much cream dispensed from a water bottle rather than from a dedicated jug that would control the quantity of cream poured. Unless Im on a shade covered outdoor patio I like AC when Im inside a business establishment having a meal. Perhaps the AC unit wasnt working the day of my visit. Nothing really to recommend it or create a desire to go back.Update, I did get a nice response back addressing my criticisms and having grown up in a family that ran both a restaurant and catering business I appreciate you cannot always make everyone happy. The response was very respectful and the explanation thorough. Unfortunately you only get one chance to make a first impression though in the interest of fairness I will take the suggestion of visiting again with a perhaps more open mind..

Want to give a shoutout to the green apple! Loved my latte today as always, treating myself to some Carmel on top. Love the options at this little spot on West St. You can get regular espresso, decaf or 1/2&1/2. If I could I would give them 6 stars out of 5.

Love the atmosphere in the fact that their walls are covered in a local photographers work their iced coffee was to die for without any sweetener in it cuz I didnt want any and the staff was extremely friendly

Fantastic coffee, fantastic prices. The Green Apple has a cute, comfortable interior and a great view of that canal. They have a wide variety of hot and cold beverages and the customer service is always great. If you live anywhere in the area you need to be going in every day. Nothing nearby compares.

Im on a quest to find the best Americano in the area, I like my coffee strong. Green Apple Coffee House was super cute, a nice place to meet a friend, but their Americano is the weakest Ive encountered so far. Disappointing. This makes me a little sad, I was hoping theyd be the winner in my little quest.

Nice little coffee shop. Very clean and the owner was really nice. Prices were pretty reasonable, but the menu is a bit limited. Overall, a nice place to get coffee when theres no Starbucks around.

Best latte I ever had! Skip Starbucks and come here. Not only are the drinks amazing the pastries are too. Always a wonderful selection and the owner is super friendly and knowledgeable!
