Great Wall in Mazowe

Great restaurant with lovely Chinese food. Have been here many times, sizzling chicken & beef is good. But I really love the sizzling duck, its a delicious treat.The prices are favorable and the atmosphere is great. A mainstay on the Harare restaurant scene.

Had dinner at the place a couple of days ago with my family- was impressed by the quality of the food itself, and the friendly staff of course.Another delight was visiting the adjacent shop and buying some ingredients to make my own East Asian dishes at home. I particularly liked the kimchi sold there - super unique taste that you just cannot get enough of!

Ordered takeaway and since we called ahead, the order was ready by the time we arrived. Almost always have the same thing (oyster chilli chicken, beef ginger & spring onions, garlic broccoliand the food is always consistently good.

My go to place whenever I want Chinese food in Harare. Good food. Friendly staff.

Beautiful place to be at for dinner. Chilled and modest. The food was delicious, the service was splendid. The waiter even helped us in selecting what to eat and what not to and every suggestion was on point!

Very affordable restaurant in Belgravia, easily accessed using cheaper public transport. The food is great and is served in a nice and clean environment by very professional staff. By the way they do not just serve Chinese. For the more conservative you can still get your regular chips and chicken there as well!

Food was on point. I ended up eating more than I intended. Sizzling chicken ,beef onion and egg fried rice. Really good.

The food was soooo good and so was the service.

The food was dreadful. Their Beef Garlic rice was a joke, not to mention the fried dumplings that were dripping in oil. Do better guys!

This place is the epitome of greatness. Great food and great service. They also have a play area for kids. Its just good!I went there with my family and we really enjoyed ourselves.

The service was fast! Food was great and the staff were friendly. The portions are large enough to be shared, but we only found out after we each ordered a meal and ended up each taking a lot of food home. :)We would definitely return.

Great Wall is a cosy ambient restaurant with good service. The food has maintained a good standard in all my trips to date. Their egg fried rice and chilli fried chicken are two of my personal favourites.The waiters are friendly and amusing and are effective and good at their job. The decor is traditional and well thought out and there is also a playground at the back for children to remain entertained as they wait for their food.

Great service with very friendly host who was well informed about the variety of dishes they had to offer. Authentic Chinese Cuisine which was tasty and was prepared in a timely manner. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great Chinese restaurant or anyone who wants a genuine taste of Asia.

A group of 8 of us Went to the great wall for a birthday lunch. Prices were pretty good as were the portion sizes and all of the dishes we tried were enjoyed by all. We ordered fish in a chilli black bean sauce, chicken with cashew nuts, beef and black beans and crispy duck with pancakes, 1 egg fried rice, 1 veg noodles and 1 plain boiled rice. More than enough when shared between the 8 of us. Including soft drinks this set us back ZWL 745 with an option to pay in USD (would have been $80at their rate which we thought was great value in the current economic environment. Definitely worth a visit

A Chinese restaurant has been here for more than decades, mainly providing Xiang Cuisine, namely Hunan style of cooking, along with other major Chinese dishes. It has enjoyed an extraordinary reputation by not only Chinese but also locals

Loved the food and service..

One of the best Chinese restaurants in the city. The best indicator of that is the number of Chinese guests in it. It definitely tells you of the food quality.As for the service - all the floor personnel are locals so you cannot blame the owner (if only for failure to discipline them).P.S. I have known the Restaurant and the owner for a decade now. The mere fact that it has survived through the toughest times in the countrys history speaks in its favour.(Mae, regards from me and Andrew)
