Basic strip-mall eatery turning out chow mein, mu shoo & other Chinese standbys.
In the middle of eating vegetable lo meng my wife started choking on a small piece of metal , had to literally grab it myself , will no longer be eating here
Best won tons packed full. Their Boba is good too...
Great food. Its my favorite restaurant in the area
If you want skimpy portions and high prices this is your spot. I had been a long term customer but have found a better place to go
Clean facility, hot fresh cuisine. You can tell the people care about their business and their customers. Can’t wait to go back!
Good food, it’s fast and the staff is so friendly. Never had a bad experience here.
Very reasonable price. 2 plates of food for around $20. Great family people.
The sesame chicken and CC wontons were great. However literally the worst pork fried rice I’ve ever had. Pwee. Uncle Ben’s with yellow food coloring and cut up discount ham. Next time I’ll get sesame chicken from them but get my pork fried rice from Wong’s on Earl
Poor service. Cant seem to get an order right. Dont bother calling to complain. They just hang up on you. Too bad zero stars isnt an option. Ill be going to Leos from now on.
This place has the best General Tso chicken. Friendly staff and food for takeout is generally ready in 15 minutes.
My kids love the shrimp fry rice and orange chicken so much
I want to state first that their portion sizes are very hearty. You get a lot of food for a fair price. I ordered lo mein, kung Pao chicken and fried rice, chicken egg rolls and teriyaki chicken. The lo mein was soupy and lacked flavor but still ok enough to eat. The kung Pao chicken plate was good, fried rice was bland and the KP chicken was not spicy at all but overall good flavor. The chicken egg rolls taste like your average store bought freezer section egg rolls. Lastly the teriyaki chicken was very bland, red in color, but no flavor not sweet, salty or savory. Overall if you’re looking for an inexpensive Chinese takeout this is your place however I recommend sticking to their combination plates.
Soup is OK very bare just broth and meat. Chicken was good. The rice is legit the worst rice ever had. The pork fried rice is just cut up pieces of ham in yellow rice. Just flavorless rice with pieces of pink ham in it. Of all my years having pork fried rice Ive never seen any Chinese restaurant serve pork fried rice like this let alone charge for it. Terrible amateur. I could have made this "pork fried rice".Go somewhere else.
Love to order to go! Open later then most. Nice staff do offer to deliver or call anytime with any questions!
Edit to your reply: No you did not use medium party wings! The wings in the picture under my comment were not the wings I received! The wings I received looked like they were pumped with steroids. I have no reason to lie. I spent my money with you and you should be ashamed to reply but not apologize for my experience. Smh* Just called and ordered for the first time and I am so disappointed. I specifically asked the woman if their chicken wings were big and she said no just regular party wings, these wings are huge! And doesn’t look normal this was a waste of 30 dollars. Their beef and broccoli wasn’t tasteful as well. This doesn’t seem like Chinese food. Very disappointed and my son who I ordered the wings for, won’t eat them 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
The best Sesame chicken I had in a while. Great service and delicious food is what you can expect from this location.
Great quality Asian food! Ordered for pick up and it was fresh and so delicious! Definitely recommend checking them out! The house style lo mein & beef and broccoli were so tasty and full of flavor!
General tso’s and szechuan chicken were delicious, szechuan was especially spicy! egg rolls were also good and it was ready when they said it would be
Everyone loved the food. Great, friendly service. Meal portions are large enough for two meals if you have self-control. Seating is limited. So, its best to get your order as carryout.
Yay, finally some good Chinese food! We ordered online and it was quick and easy, the food came fast (less than a half hour on a Saturday nightand was very hot (temperature). We requested our food to be spicy and they delivered! It was just right, but most of all I appreciate that they honored our request because it shows they care about customer service. The veggies were fresh and perfectly cooked and, best of all, I dont think there was ANY celery in our entrees! Its a miracle! The portions were large and came with plenty of meat. There was plenty of sauce and everything was well seasoned too, theyre not skimping on anything here.Cant say enough good things about our experience, I just hope they can deliver on that level consistently!
I had the fried dumplings, they were fried perfect could use little more flavor in the meat. I did enjoy the dipping sauce it made them well worth it. I also ordered a beef fried rice was not a big fan the meat was not that great chewey, the rice its self was good loved the onions. Perfect for a fast and good bite to eat.
The food is Yummy!Fantastic Chinese food so affordable!I was very suprised and satisfied.
Delicious food, actually flavorful for a Chinese restaurant! The Lo Mein sauce was nice and rich, General Tsos was spicy, and the meat fried rice had plenty of meat! Speedy delivery as well!
Chicken with garlic sauce is really amazing to me! The taste is super invincible! Endless aftertaste! Will definitely come to eat often!
Chicken wing is amazing, size is good and juicy, and I love their spicy sauce. It is super hot😂😂😂
We ordered by phone. Said would deliver within 30 mins and delivery person from restauraunt was here at 25 minutes. Shrimp fried rice, shrimp egg foo yung and spring rolls were tasty, and food was hot. Shrimp was tender. Amazing meal! Delivery person friendly! Thank you!
I ordered fried dumplings and chicken egg foo young , and I’m not easily impressed nor do I like Chinese food that much . But this food was amazing to me and I’m 8/9 months pregnant so I’m EXTRA PICKY about how things taste. The dumplings were delicious and crispy and everything was fresh. I really loved the sauce that came with the dumplings 😋 I even used it on my egg foo young. I mixed it in with the gravy & it was absolutely yummy. I will definitely be ordering again!
This place used to be good. I haven’t been here for a long, long time and went back yesterday 04-24-2021. I don’t see the old owner any more Jojo. I see an older Asian man now. The house fried rice was a rip off. Where’s the chunks of meat? I see pea sized ham and chicken and 4 shrimps. You’re better off just getting the regular fried rice. The Lo-mien taste like ginger and not enough veggies, noodles over cooked. The general tso chicken was sweet no spice. This place just isn’t good anymore. Save your money and go else where.
I have ordered from here multiple times. The general tso chicken was always good. Well NOT tonight!! It was disgusting! It didnt even look like general tso. There was zero spice to it and it was WAY TOO sweat! It looked like it was swimming tan colored snot! I also ordered chicken lo mein, it had so much ginger in it. I couldnt taste anything except ginger. My kids normally love lo mein NOT tonight! None of us were able to eat any of. It was expensive and a complete waste of money! This is super sad because it used to be good. I wont be going back.
Always really great classic Chinese food here. Our go-to is the pepper steak (always tenderand sesame chicken (can never go wrong). Everyone I speak too is kind and polite. Happy to support our local businesses.
Terrible. I ordered hunan chicken and wontons. The wontons were ok, but the hunan chicken was not very tasty, and there were only a few pieces of chicken. It was basically a tray of crunchy vegetables. They will not get my money again.
They are a bit busy and that is a good thing. If they are busy, they have good food. Just got my food delivered and as always it is amazing. My favorite delivery people and my favorite food. Thanks so much!!!
The food is good, as others have noted. The open question right now is: Is this place taking the pandemic seriously? For Great Dragon, that answer is Yes. For evidence, look no further than the modifications they made for pickup. They have converted one door into a single occupancy booth with a window for transactions with the staff. A brilliant way to ensure minimal contact. Well done!
I ordered a Shrimp & veggies dinner. I got a half cup of cabbage with 5 shrimp and 3.5 cups of rice. If I wanted mainly rice for dinner, it would be ok, however, I ordered dinner so where is it? 5 shrimp & 1/4 cup of cabbage didnt make a good dinner at all. Im almost 6ft, Im not overweight at 165, but I definatly need enough food to feel like I got something. Everyones dinner was rice over the top & little else. You want a bowl of rice, by all means buy your dinner here, otherwise I suggest somewhere you get your moneys worth, this is not it.
I ordered delivery that took over an hour to get delivered and was the wrong order. After I opened all the cartons trying to find mine I called and they were going to pick up the food and I believe redeliver it to the correct customer when I told them I opened them all he decided I was ok with it and never did deliver what I ordered. I had to return the wrong order in the morning to get my money back and it was a hassle. Disgusting and horrible customer service. Health code violations being completely disregarded.
I had to add two more stars because the food was extremely good. Made up for previous experience.I was hung up on twice!! I was so furious and almost didnt want to spend my money at this restaurant. But ended up driving. Luckily there was a manager here to help me with my order. I just cant understand the rudeness with the lady on the phone.
I’m fine if you want to smoke and work. But standing right by the door while you smoke just causes your restaurant to smell like an old ash tray when others walk in. Please keep in mind, no one wants to smell that while eating. 👍🏻
The food and service were EXCELLENT, the only big bummer was the plastic silverware and lack of beverage choices. The chef (owner? was very personable and eager to ensure we were happy with our dinner. The restaurant was bright and clean. We would go back when were in the area.
These are some very nice people food is delicious. Getting laundry and dinner knocked out same time. Sitting in pickup Pigging out !
Ate at this place faithfully for 15 years. Went back after a couple year break, all the signs were there telling me to leave. I stayed, Im regretting it now. Vegetables seemed fresh, rice was greasy, chicken was unrecognizable. Restaurant was a dump, workers were not sanitary.
Dont waste your time or money on this place. I just ordered from them as I have in the past. I got home and they forgot my fried rice, so I call and he told me I could come get it or next time they could give me free egg rolls. Dude said they only had 1 driver and he wouldnt be back for a while. So I decided to drive back and get my rice. I go in and he told me that he needs to charge me for the rice because apparently he didnt charge me for it the first time. I have no problem paying the up charge if it would have been when I originally paid. The guy didnt tell me over the phone that I would need to pay again for the rice (even though it was on my receipt). Instead of taking up fault for his screw up he wanted to argue over 3 dollars. I spent 54 bucks and you cant chalk up the 3 dollars for YOUR screw up?? Bad customer service. I work in a restaurant and have had many customer service jobs, I would have admitted fault and gave the customer what they were supposed to have. To top it off the white rice that I wanted replaced by the fried rice wasnt even in the bag! I will never return and I hope others steer clear of this place. Their food isnt even worth the 54 bucks but I went with it because its close to home.
I dont know why this place has a 2.8 rating. Ive been going here for over a decade literally. I am 23 and been going over here when I was 13 and their food has not changed. It is extremely delicious and their service was great. There might have been once a time where service wasnt the best but that still never stopped me fro9m eating here. There food is great!vI love getting their combination special and I think they are really cheap for what you get. I recommend anyone who wants good Chinese food and I do believe they are very underrated.
Was in the neighborhood and wanted to support some local businesses, tried this place randomly to see if itd be any good. Not only was the customer service bad, the food was so warm and came out super fast. I feel like it was leftovers that they just threw on the wok and threw some sauce on there. But the meat wasnt hot, just warm. Also the cashier just wanted me to finish my order. Id try and see whats a local fave and she just said "what you like?" Like for real? Weaksauce.
The food was very good, they were out of the steamed/ fried dumplings so i went with the orange chicken. Only reason Im giving it a 3 star then 4 was the girl at the register. Seemed like she didnt want to be there.
Every single time I have ordered food they deliver it missing something. The girl on the phone had the nerve to ask me if I really need my rice!!!! Yes!!!! I paid for it and I didnt want a credit to my address because I never plan on spending my money there AGAIN. It alwayssss takes way too long to get to my house and the favor of the food is bland. Im sticking to Wongs Kitchen!!! Much better service and the food is wayyyyy better!!
This place sucks, i ordered general tsos chicken and it was too hard to eat, either over done or had sat for hours, and then i was going to be nice enough to grace them with my business, and they wouldnt deliver to me if i didnt order $15 worth, i told them to charge me 15 if they have to, i didnt care, she just got an attitude, like the other times i ordered from this poor excuse of chinese food. Dont waste your money. Or your time waiting, service is super slow.
The waitress had a terrible attitude. I had a friend go there before and said the same thing. The rice is orange and the chicken is orange too!!! And its DISGUSTING!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY IN HERE!!! My son eats everything and didnt even want to take a second look at the chicken. I took one bite and felt sick immediately. You have been fore warned!!!
This place is okay , since its not far away . but hate how delivery takes forever ! , and i only live like 9-10 blocks away. But the food is okay. I been ordering from here for like 1 years now, but only like once every 2-3 months. The food isnt all that good. Ive had some bad times , and good times. I understand that they busy whatsoever. But yeah, customer service is bad. I got told by a little girl or boy, who said they didnt sell fried rice with the dinner combo . like wth. My Dinner Platter didnt come with fried rice?which was a lie, she/he said they dont do dinner combos and stuff.. like okay. but i guess ill try again.
I was so excited to finally find a Chinese restaurant in my area that delivered that I was willing to set aside the terrible reviews and give it a shot. Now I wish I hadnt! Earlier today I called to place my order and didnt have any problems with the girl who took it as some others have before me. It arrived in a timely manner, smelled wonderful and the driver was courteous if not friendly. Unfortunately, it was the worst General Tsos chicken Ive ever had. I really wanted to like it but I couldnt even finish half, just ate my cream cheese wontons and the rest went in the garbage. I might try them again sometime for a different dish if Im really hard up but until then, my search continues!
Gross. I ordered delivery from here tonight and I got a large soup, large chicken fried rice and two egg rolls for $15. Definitely not a good deal, but in all fairness about what I expected. The fried rice came a neon orange color (I thought I ordered Asian, not Mexican?and was for sure unseasoned. Im also 99% sure the chicken was boiled and then added. Theres also definitely not any soy sauce in it and although Im not Asian, Im pretty sure thats essential to fried rice. When I called to let them know I was disappointed the woman just made excuses including, "Well, um... Our fried rice comes orange unless your request brown." (I let her know she might want to inform people of that in the future since thats not at all typical. The egg rolls were literally the smallest I have ever seen and at $1.50 each not worth it at all. The soup was definitely homemade which I can appreciate, but is pretty gross; It tastes like barbeque sauce. Would never order from here again or recommend it to anyone I like, youd be better off getting a Lean Cuisine.
