Hermoso lugar ♥️ disfruté muchísimo sacando fotos. El cielo estaba hermoso! El sonido del mar y la tranquilidad que se respira, hacen un spot maravilloso! Ya no están las sirenas ☹️ al parecer el mar se las llevó.

Muy lindo lugar, lo mantienen muy limpio.Además debemos tener en cuenta que es el limite teórico entre el Rio de la Plata y el Océano Atlántico.Es llamado también Punta de Salinas, donde comienza la Playa Brava de Punta del Este.Tenemos también un helipuerto que adjunto foto con un Helicóptero de la Armada Uruguaya

Beautiful place. Great for taking pictures. I took my dogs there and they loved to just sit and enjoy the wind. There is a lot of space for parking.

Bello el lugar, creo que debe ser obligatorio ir a visitar. Tiene obras didácticas en el piso muy interesantes de artistas locales que puedes interactuar incluso con grupos de amigos. También existe un ancla que marca la línea imaginaria de lo que se considera la unión del río La Plata con el océano. Si nombre se debe al país victorioso del 1er enfrentamiento naval de la 2da guerra mundial en las Américas, dónde buques ingleses obligaron a un buque alemán que hundiera después de varios días. Se dice que es el pto más austral del Uruguay y que tiene un periscopio en la roca

The mermaid sculptures are no longer there. So, its now just a stone platform extending out to the sea, where you can stand and proclaim that you are at the southern most tip of mainland Uruguay 🇺🇾

One of those places where you have to visit if youre a tourist: in the peninsulas tip, where the Plata River Bay meets the ocean, you can get beautiful pictures here and a great view. Within a short walk you can see both sides of this beautiful city and coastline. Theres also free parking space.

What a beautiful place to be at. Right where the great river joins the ocean. Sat on some of the rocks and took awesome pictures of the blue waters. The breeze was also amazing!
