Grant Thorold Park - Park in Cleethorpes, United Kingdom
Loads of aye areas for the kids nice for a walk to
Great family park
Wonderful transformation, the brainchild of Steve whowould go on to become the current mayor of Grimsby
A great Queens Jubilee day party in the park event.
We had a lovely meal today at tea in the park. All meals made freshly on site. Staff very friendly and politechef couldnt do enough to please usYes we definitely be going back. 🏆
Lovely park with a beautiful garden. Tea in the Park Cafe is great - delicious food 🙂
Lovely place kids loved it would love if the third play area was fixed and open
Not the best part of town but the park is very well kept and clean, more than your average park with things to look at and a very good on site cafe. Worth a visit for a change.
The elder childrens player area was taken down years ago but never replaced. Dog owners need to pick up after themselves!
I merely parked in an adjacent road.Park has an interesting history however as being the site of an actual performance from Buffalo Bill!
This park is not in the best area but it is quite tidy, there is a cafe called tea in the park its a brilliant little cafe with home cooked food ,
Great Park with an excellent cafe. They have a lovely garden that is well looked after.
To many kids being loud and threatening to younger kids would not let my children be there bullies unless being with an adult
Nice decaf coffee made with milk cakes tasty too. Not to expensive either staff are friendly too
Best local I have eaten at . Scones, and cakes amazing, made on the premises.
Spacious area with parks, football and basketball area, with a cafe and toilets on site
Small park with a cafe. Nice walk when the weather is good.
Not a nice place, druggies, people beaten up and robbed so many times, always problems like broken Glass on the footpaths and rubbish dumped.
Should have been 5 stars. Excellent food and service.
So much better than what it was a year ago , the park is a lot cleaner and more open with having the bushes and trees cut back so feels a lot safer.
Walk my dog here regularly and way too frequently theres glass on the paths and bags of rubbish left near bins. Council need to check much more frequently then they are currently.
Park is lovely, great for children to run around, but its a shame that some people are not cleaning up after their dogs and that there is litter, including broken glass and used nappies lying around.
Very nice park with an absolutely awesome pocket garden
Too much dog poo around, so played on the basketball court, however this has been seriously neglected over the last few years, with broken glass everywhere and some of the fencing has been ripped off its supports. Why cant the council build something similar to the courts at Sidney Park? Theyr pretty good, very sturdy, clean & well looked after...
Lovely fresh sandwich, followed by a large slice of lemon cream cake with a pot of fresh tea what more could you ask for in a clean friendly place, looking out upon a nice tidy park .Tea in the Park well done .
This Park is opposite where I live, the area named The Pocket Park is lovely, well kept and cared for, well worth a visit, and why not enjoy a coffee, afternoon tea, or a snack at the The Tea in the Park café
Amazing service staff are friendly and welcoming. Will do there best to accommodate you while there. They are amazing when it comes dietary needs and will adjust the menu
Lovely Park but we went to the Tea in the Park Cafe and it was lovely, going to be a regular there!
Cake and tea both lovely. Man serving couldnt do enough. Definitely recommend.
The cafe is nice, staff seem friendly. Park is good enough, plenty of space for kids to run about and to walk dogs etc. I have seen volunteers litter picking and theres a nicely kept garden area near the cafe. The only downside is that there are drugged up chavs nearby or on the park a lot of the time, I guess its the area unfortunately.
This park had gone down the hill, as there arent that many things left for children to enjoy. + Hate when people cant clean after their dogs.
For a Sunday there wasnt many people around and little on had fun exploring the gardens and potted plants
Lovely place and setting for brunch or afternoon tea at Tea in the Park, then the kids can burn off steam in the park x
Lovely park would like to see just a few more things to play on for the kids . The grounds are well maintained
Nice, little park.
The new nursery there is beautiful and fresh perfect for young children to learn in. The cafe also sells amazing cake
Could be a very nice park . . . Apart from the local yob community hanging out there
Tea in tbe park is a must, great place for families and kids, nice food. Small parks for all ages and nice small walks for dogs too. Recommended pitstop or stroll.
Not a bad park. Has improved a bit over the last few years especially with the recent addition of the cafe.
Nice size park for walking the dog, three dog free zones for kids to play, a good cafe should you have an extended visit. On the downside the park is frequented by a number of druggies and dealers.
Parks ok lots of activities for the kids can play football etc sometimes fundays too.
Baby swings could have been abit bigger . My 23 year old friend could get in bit not out. On the plus side my son got to see fireman Sam
Lovely park had a great time with my son then we had tea too!
Lovely little cafe to visit with warm welcoming the park is becoming much better too
Good for walking dogs but not for kids hardly anything to do. But theres a lovely little cafe there now.
The Cafe Staff need Customer Service Training and the area outside with the fence area needs a good tidy up. It looks tired and very ameturish. The area outside the cafe could do with a power wash.
Visited the "In on the Park" cafe, customer handling skills very poor, went off at a tangent speaking to a colleague whilst I was trying to place my order. Then told we couldnt sit in the cafe area, and was directed to a dirty area in the library. Changed their mind when we said we would leave it. Food and drink ok if not a little expensive andnot much choice on offer.
Clean open park, dog friendly although the entrances do not have gates and lead on to a fairly busy road one side, so be careful if like me you let your dog off their lead. The park also has children play areas and a kiosk type building on one side, unsure of the facilities inside the kiosk, however it looks very clean and well maintained. There is also a football/basketball court available to use.
Nice park. Good for kids. I think the council could do more for the kids. But they ate greatly improving with cafe and new landscaping. Keep it up. A tick for GY concill. What???
A clean open park. Football club for children. A lovely cafe called Tea in the Park.,had a lovely breakfast there. Also a newly refurbished Library. It really is a great place for all ages to meet up and spend time even if the weather changes. It is also where you can find Meal on Wheels and Care 4 All.
