Grano - Italian restaurant in Sector 1, Romania
Love Grano! Elevated Italian food but without getting uncomfortably fussy. Very, very good!
Best pasta in Bucharest. As I don’t speak English there was a mixup in the order, but they gave the order I meant after a few minutes. As they left the mistaken order for me to eat I got to try two. They both were great but the shrimp pasta was to die for! Order it! Now!The bread is great, the oil and balsamic vinegar are great, the wine is good, the service is perfect, in short; go here.
Tasty food. A bit pricey for just pasta.
Great Italian food, beautiful location, very nice service.
Amazing place, great tasty food, amazing people. Authentic Italian Food.A really 5 stars experience.I would really recommend.
Very delicious Italian food reasonable prices.
we had a superb meal and the service was world class, highly recommended
The food is nice, but a bit overpriced. The service could be better for such a price
A top-notch artisanal Italian restaurant. Gorgeous inventive, but classic food and sparkling service. Had a fantastic, flawless lunch.
Cozy atmosphere, delicious food and friendly service. We enjoyed a late dinner and ordered the pork steak and risotto with mozzarella and tomato sauce. The risotto was good but to be honest it is overpriced, while the pork dish was delicious. They offer also some vegetarian alternatives based on eggplant. Overall we had a good time, we enjoyed the food and we will surely come back.
Probably one of the best Italian restaurants in Bucharest! An opinion made based on the hundred of times that I came here!First of all, the staff is friendly and professional! The food is delicious all the time, without exception!
Average quality food yet highly overpriced, bad quality olive oil. Good location though and somehow friendly staff.
Outstanding service, great tasting food and a beautiful ambience. Loved the grilled tuna steak - very tasty. Definitely recommended.
Good food, great staff, very cozy place, reminds me of Italy!
Nice cosy place, good food and service 🥘If you want to enjoy good pasta and wine, this is the place
Grano is more than a restaurant - its an entire experience, an exercise in good taste, authenticity, fresh, quality ingredients masterfully joined together in deceptively simple dishes bursting with flavour and served with a smile in a nice, relaxed setting. Also noteworthy is their shop selling all kinds of delightful, gourmet ingredients, from wines and cheeses to pasta, pastries and various other interesting, tasty and quite rare delights. Everyone, from gourmande conaisseurs to casual diners, can have a delightful experience at Grano, and even take home some tasty souvenir.
The best place for italian food in Bucharest.Great service and quality. We visited many places in Bucharest but here the waitress named Anna was the best and the only one who smiles
A bit.overated for the quality of the food, had 4 dishes, all below the price tag
The carbonara never disappoints. The sea bass with tomato was delicious.
Nice and cozy place with one of the best carbonara in town.
Its a nice and cosy place with pleasant atmosphere after the sunset when the lights turn on.The food is okay, I had some Tagliatele al Ragu. What I didnt like was the fact that I had to pay for the given extra parmesan even though I did not aks for it. Its the first place where this is being paid.We also had a lemonade that was impossible to drink because the taste was very strong. I felt like I was drinking only lemon juice which also was tasting pretty strange. For a second I thought this lemonade was made with Hellas. We had to order an extra bottle of water to dilute the taste to be drinkable.PS: this is one of those Italian restaurants where you pay Coperto.
Lovely Italian food in Bucharest. Also has a nice variety of Italian gourmet ingredients to buy and take home.
I stopped by just for a soup in the lunch time and was waiting ages even it was not busy, tomato cream very average, overpriced and there is coperto 5 lei per each person I guess to set the status of the place…
A very pleasant surprise. We had beef snitchel and octopus salad, both of them delicious. But for me the nicest part was the professional service and ambiance. We will come back for sure🙂
Great experience! Delicious fish & side dishes and fabulous service👌.
Food is really good, but I don’t understand the policy to include to the check Coperto (bread basket which comes with olive oilwhich a guest didn’t ask and didn’t eat. Literally I was forced to pay this extra 5 Lei. Not big money but the fact that spoiled the lunch. Never had such experience before. At the same time they have diluted soap in the bathroom… Cheap place.
Simply perfect! I love this place, food and people. Carbonara was made properly, without creme. Desserts are to die for. 😋🥰
Good food, nice and professional staff. For some reason I was expecting to be amazed by the food, explosion of tastes, but no, just good :)
Quality Italian food, competent and friendly service. Terrace is with retractable roof, so smoker friendly also during colder days.
Very pleasant atmosphere and very delicious food and deserts.I recommend a bit of service improvement, I ve felt something was missing on that side, even though the girls were friendly.I definitely recomand the place.
All dishes were very tasteful, from antipasti, main and the dessert, yum! and with quality wine. Altogether a lovely culinary experience seasoned with a welcoming and very professional and polite staff! I definitely recommend if you are a fan of italian food.
Delicious! Good food, good service. Loved it!
Great service and food. The place is really comfortable and has a relaxed atmosphere and the staff is very nice, friend wand the service is beyond reproach. Definitely will come back
Try the cheese and meats plateau that I photographed below. The bread is a must, really tasty. Due to the small terrace however youll need to book a place in advance as its always full during the pandemic.
Best pasta in the city of Bucharest so far. We had the shrimp pasta and the ragu beef, both being amazing. The texture of the pasta was just perfect and the taste out of this world. Really nice athmosphere and the staff super friendly. Highly recommend.
High quality Italian restaurant in Floreasca area. Lot of choices in the menu, any of them very tasty. A place to visit often if you like qood quality italian recipes. Favourites: tagliatelle ragu, paccheri zucchine and shrimps, paccheri with tomatos and bufala. Service very efficient.
It was by far the most amazing food we have tried in Bucharest. Maybe the best pasta of all time. If you visit the restaurant try the ravioli with truffle, which is outstanding!!! The service is welcoming and friendly, Anna was the waitress you want to have, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the restaurant!
Great food with nice ambience! Very nice and accomodating staff, too. ❤️
Great location with covered outdoor terrace, and the food is of very high quality. When i was there for a business lunch, I saw many other people having their business lunch there as well. But I am sure it is also a great place for family and friends meetings.
Grano is one of the better Italian spots in Bucharest, with a cute terrace that has a nice cozy but modern vibe to it. We were a party of four so we split a bunch of food and drinks and the service was always eager and helpful, especially with details about the food.We had the burrata and the Tagliere Misto as appetisers, both delicious, with a golden start to the truffle asiago (?!I think it was, a great cheese paired with a glass of prosecco. I had the Cavateli Pesto Basilico as main course and it was very tasty, had a great bite to it, perfectly al dente. The basil was fresh and the pine nuts were a perfect combination. I tasted the Spaghetti Carbonara as well which were served impeccably, traditional recipe, but the main star of the whole dinner were the roasted potatoes which were quite amazing to say the least. Definitely worth ordering one or two servings for the table just to constantly snack. The dessert was the most underwhelming part of the evening. Although not bad, it didnt quite reach our expectations and it was probably the only reason I wouldnt give Grano a 5 star review. I would however like to come back to Grano to try more of their pasta and their little Italian deli shop.
The place to be if you want good pasta or a gold standard Italian plate. As with most things in that area its a touch on the expensive side. But the quality is there so can kind of justified. There are a few troubles with order consistency and overall experience. No pepper in the mill, we sent back a salad, we ordered a glass of prosecco that never arrived (and were not billed for). But thats maybe some pandemic rustiness...
Best authentic pasta Ive had in Bucharest. The desserts are also delicious and the restaurant is nicely decorated. Cant leave this place without buying some of their original products.
A nice experience, in my Top 3 în the town! Enjoy, you will not regret!
Such an amazing place. So true to its mission & to the authentic italian cousine. By far best pasta place in town. A journey into tastes & flavours, emphasizing the strength of simplicity and the beauty of handcraft. Simply amazing!
Soo good from service to food quality. Waitress is attentive and she knows how to serve Italian cousin to preserve quality and freshness. Located in the center of Bucarest, suitable for any kind of patrons, from locals to expatriates and tourists. Very good list one wines, slightly pricey. For the overall dining experience it is worth mentioning that the pasta Paccheri with zucchine and gamberi is exceptionally well done and delicious. I will recommend people who enjoys Italian cuisin to visit.
Fabulous authentic Italian food - we had the carbonara, lasagne, ragu bolognese and 4 cheese pasta as a group and the taste and quality was exquisite! An excellent selection of wines and super friendly service.
Cosy Italian Restaurant with a small but excellent list of plates! Very polite service! Will return for sure!
Pro: Nice place, italian atmosphere, music at the conversation volume and the food was served in a timely manner. Cons: The prices are above similar restaurants and the food wasnt extraordinary. I expect when I pay more to receive something different/better.
Stopped here for a soup and had a great experience. Comfortable relaxed seating with prompt yet unintrusive service. Soup was very tasty. Nice beer and wine selection also.
Friendly staff, perfectly cooked pasta and proper Italian wine in a laid back, nice atmosphere.
