Not enough options to be a buffet .l suggest going on Seafood night after 4pm any other it might just be okay.Only get whole catfish with the bones thats the real catfish.Boneless catfish is Swai NOT REAL CATFISH!!#---At alllllll😣😣😣😣😣😣 l miss Barnhills Country Buffet soooo many options.

Been here several times the past few years and always good food, clean tables, fresh condiments, great selection and fast and efficient wait staff. Pay before you eat then just choose from a huge selection. Most of the food taste home made and not out if a can... So at least they make it appear that way. Today I had beef tips and rice, black-eyed peas, greens, hot water cornbread, yams, squash and a piece of chicken... So glad my physical labor was over for the day.This is a great place to meet, eat and never get buyers remorse, but you can over eat and feel like a pig......haha.

Food was hot & delicious! There was no wait time. Family oriented. Staff friendly & courteous.

I have been eating here quite frequently, and the food has always been pretty good, however on this last visit, I found a fingernail in my banana pudding, it is unfortunate, but I dont think that I will be returning anytime soon. I would think that anybody who is preparing food in a setting such as this would wear disposable plastic gloves, like Ive seen used in other buffets.

It wasnt as good as it used to be. The fake catfish, Swai, is a poor substitute for real catfish. What happened to U.S. catfish?? The seafood buffet could be really good, it has been before.

The worst place ever.. I will never return again.They took pay before we could decide if were going to stay or not. The food was blended with different food,the seats were very low, table was sticky and people coughing AROUND the food OMG its was disgustingly disturbing to my appetite , the pictures on the wall when you walk in is ridiculous an youCant tell who works there they dont have uniforms.

Food was cold. Not cool but cold. This was an awful experience. We complained. Still cold 10 minutes later..July 2 2019. 2pm

If you like home country cooking that you can taste the love and passion it is made with in a warm and soothing atmosphere with friendly people then come to Grannys the staff made my wife and I feel like family.

Very overpriced, for 1 person is 20.54. The broccoli was cold and had brown spots on it. I got some mashed potatoes and while eating them there was a burnt part from where they scrapped it out of the pan. The only thing that was good was the catfish. The shrimp was too hot and spicy. You would think with that price they would have non spicy for people who are not supposed to eat hot and spicy food. Will not return.

This place feels like home! It was a busy Sunday & they couldnt keep up the demand for the rolls, but the food!! So, so good! Lots of variety & the taste was excellent. Highly recommended & friendly staff.

Their all you can eat buffet is awesome! During the weekend they have seafood and they had steak also. I eat to much and leave hurting every time I eat there. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a good meal.

Food and service was Great. I was visiting FAMILY and I could never go wrong when I come here to eat.I remember when it was if Im not mistaken the name was BARNHILL . But either way it was great to visit 😋.

Its nice but there food isnt as good as it used to be. Especially for the price! Staff os great and its clean.

My daughter treated me to supper.....excellent!!! So full and satisfied. The meat was tender, great seasonings and a lot to choose from. And the sweet tea was perfect!!!

I can almost tell u the menu verbatim. The same old tired food every day with a slight change of daily veggies. And Sunday is the worst. ALL OF BASTROP visits after church and the food is still monotonous. Go to your Grandmothers for real greens, Mac and cheese, and smothered chicken.

Good to see you back. Written on sign above the entrance. These people know they produce a meal that will attract customers over and over!The building is older yet clean and offers a curious view. Staff treat customers like family.All smiles!!

Food was delicious. Only thing bad I have to say about it is some of the deserts were picked over. Say for example the peach cobbler was delicious but it didnt have nearly any crust, it was basically just sugary peaches. Other than that the experience was fantastic.

Looks like an older establishment...pretty run down, and could sure use a good cleaning. We arrived about 3:00 pm. We stopped for the fish because it was recommended to us. The fish was on the buffet and was hard and cold. The folks running the establishment were very unfriendly. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place. We were highly disappointed in this place and will not return.

This is literally the best restaurant I have eaten at in my entire life. If you some good home cooking like your Grandmother (God rest her souluse to make, than you cant get any better than this place!!!!

This place is off of the food was so playing the meat was very unattractive the place is unattractive it used to be a very very relaxing place the customer service has changed the employees has changed division has changed this is not a good relaxing place for a homegoing person as of myself and my colleagues

I truly enjoy going to GRANNYS the food is great every time we go. My husband loves it,we live 60 miles away and we always go there everytime we go to Monroe.

I love the restaurant but the last 2 times we have been. The food is so old u can hardly eat it . I am goin to call up there and ask when is a good time to come where you can get fresh food that is worth 11 dollars a person!! It really is not that good anymore!!!

We had our Thanksgiving dinner here and it was a fabulous all-you-can-eat buffet! All the usual foods were there and it was all really good. I was amazed at how popular it was and the trays never got empty before they brought more.

Grannys in Monroe always has a large variety of really good food. They will even fry Daddy some fish a little softer like he likes it and the service is good, too! Try it sometimes!

I loved the food it was good and hot the pecan pie and peach cobbler was the best just like your grandmother would make it..... The service is great also staff very polite!!!! I highly recommend you try it.

Tbe chicken was poorly season. The food was left on the buffet line way too long, and its not really priced appropriately. They have great deserts though. Particularly the ice cream.

Ask to take a look before you pay.On a good day, best place to eat in Monroe. Food is fresh, seasoned well, good variety on the buffet.On a bad day, I wouldnt eat here. Floor dirty, tables and chairs dirty. Empty areas of buffet for too long.Operating Hours are inconvenient.

Great southern food, just like eating at my grandmas! Their fried chicken, rolls, green beans, fried catfish, cabbage, pecan cobbler, pretty much everything Ive tried there is awesome and they have the best sweet tea! We try and eat here on Sundays whenever we are visiting from Arkansas.

Visiting from colorado. Always have to stop hear and eat as soon as I step off the plane. Always one of the highlights of my trip to monroe. Have never had an issue with food or services personally.
