Siguatepeque, Honduras, Comayagua
Granja D'Elia - in Comayagua, Honduras
The ATM works great
Bad service, bad food, although there is a big variety of food, it tastes like everything is cooked in the same pots and pans. Most food is bad to passable, dont expect any really good foodThe convenience store and coffee shop is right next to the restaurant, and both have a great service and good pastries
If you are traveling from San Pedro Sula to Tegucigalpa or vice versa, this is the place to stop for a meal, coffee, supermarket, enjoy it and is just half way the trip so is good even for stretching your legs.
Good place to eat but expensive for whst you get. However the market section is heaven, many products you can not get in Tegucigalpas stores.
Turkey dinner choice, was a good decision
Always consistent. Fresh food, decent prices, very nice ballrooms
Very slow check in. The A/C units in the rooms are too old. Our room never got cold. The breakfast was ok
A bit pricey but its a clean and safe place, good rest stop
Excellent service and venues to enjoying a weekend or road trip
Good service, fresh and delicious food a must stop if you are traveling from sps to Tgu or vice-versa.
I like this place nice food. Excelent customer service. They have delicius bread and coffee
Excellent place to stop in your road trips.
Best coffee I have ever had and I am a coffee addict. Great authentic food. Mejor cafe de Honduras. Desayuno fresco y delicioso.
Its OK, the food is good, they also have a mini market where you can get some locally grown vegetables. If in doubt about what to order, try the pasta.
Beautiful place , me and my family felt welcome and safe at this place quiet and peaceful. Great food very clean! Every year we stay there for vacation!
I am missing this place today!! BEST food. I’m to make the Honduran cheese and mantequilla at home LOL wish me luck.I want to go back to see the new building they built in back (was under construction when I was there)!
Huge! They have a hotel and store on site. Is been there for decades. My family would stop to eat because its halfway to where we were going. Service is real good & prices are right.
The store periodically has some nice specialty items-- imported chocolate, homemade preserves, etc. The bakery is wonderful. I highly recommend the pineapple upside down cake.
It is OK. The food is not worthy the price, though. Service is excellent.
Nice looking place, clean, average food a little pricey. Accessible from highway.
If you are going on a trip to San Pedro Sula you have to stop here best restaurant
As far as roadtrip stops go this is a good place for lunch. Specially if you are travelling with kids and they need to get out if the car for a break. It is clean and they always have fresh produce one can buy. I would recommend the chicken sandwiches on the super side (fresh and goodinstead of eating at the restaurant itself because although its not bad, for the price it isnt worth it.
The place is nice and clean. The choices on their buffet were not too appetizing, nothing on the light and healthy side. Prices were a bit higher that expected.
Really nice food and a wide variety of it too service can be a bit lackluster at times but overall a good experience.
Could not sleep at all because of extremely noisy corridors and large truck traffic from the busy highway nearby; there was also a big street lamp right in front of the window; poor front desk service could not find another room for me. Not recommended.
A stop in this place is a must !! Were you can find all needs when you travel between cities food is great !! Excelent coffee served here
Old-fashioned service, but the food is good. We especially love the bread and the veggies there.
Good pit stop between tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula. Good buffet, bathrooms and convenience store with basic medicine.
Good place to stop when traveling between SPS and Tegucigalpa. Decent food. Good service. Excellent vegetables!
This is a great place if you want to relax after driving four or more hours and you have even more hours till you reach your destination. It has entertainment for kids and family.. you have animals, a great buffet restaurant and a coffee place. You even have a hotel. The bathrooms are outside and there are some inside of the restaurant too... you even have a mini supermarketanda bank. So, this place covers up all your needs pretty much..
Good atmosphere at the restaurant but tiredlooking bedrooms can be upgraded to look and feel nicer. Overall for the area/ Sigua..good food, friendly servers and happy dining experience.
Good restaurant in Siguatepeque, they serving buffet food. You can find souvenirs, hotel, supermarket.
My wife and I stayed there three nights. The rooms are simple, large, comfortable, and clean. The bathroom is also large. The room we had was in the back behind the Expo Auditorium, so it was very quiet. There is a pool, although we didnt use it. The food in the cafeteria/restaurant is quite good. The breakfast that comes included with the room was very substantial. I recommend something along the lines of a "Plato Típico". Its delicious. Its a buffet setup. We ate other meals there as well, and they were very good. Theres also a grocery store if you want to pick up something to take back to your room to munch on later.
Clean and amazing food, not for a low budget traveler. A full plate of food + drink is about 25 USD. Bathrooms are not that clean but again it depends at what time you go there.
I send previously a very good recomendation but, that was true during the working days of a week. The weekend was terrible, noisy, unconfotable, plenty of local people everywhere, being there only for the day, the swimming pool and restaurant over crowded. A pity. And, for some no clear reasons, many soldiers with gun machines looking around.
Great place with a huge variety of foods. A little dated nonetheless. Typically very crowded.
Great place for eating, halfway across Tegucigalpa San Pedro Sula trips, full meals or quick bites, clean and a nice place to stay
Nice place to stop by and eat a buffet breakfast. Place is equipped with a little marketplace and a restaurant. There were some animals and kid games but they were removed. The only aesthetic decoration left is maybe like a medium sized water fountain.
Its a well done conbination of rustic with the modern time. The food of the buffet is great and the price to stay the night is cheap when you compare how nice the rooms are.
My experiences at Granja DElia have been great, always good food and fun. Went along to this one with some family and friends, to celebrate a birthday. The place had a buzzing atmosphere, its probably what youd expect from a Friday night. The food was perfect, modest portions and speedy service which always makes for a better evening.
Good place to make a stop in the trip from Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula and viceversa. Buffet meals, a convinience store, and an hotel too (I didnt stay there). I recommend it because of the location and good food.
Cant say nothing wrong about the restaurant food amd service are great. However the hotel rooms (at least the one I stayed #5needs lots of TLC. From a noisy refrigerator, to gaps on the doors, to rusted and old faucets, mold and broken tiles on the bath tub,
Nice place to stop on a trip. It is comfortable, they have a wide food menu. Also theres an hotel, a small souvenir store and a mini market for anything you need. Highly recommended.
Food is very good most of the time, Ive had overcooked pasta here before which is weird since the owner is italian. Overall a very nice place, decent prices although the charging policy is not transparent. The cashiers are rude
Undoubtedly the most popular stopover in Siguatepeque.. Best buffet, pastries and drinks.. Very adequate wine selection.. Has a small but well stocked super market.. Some ATMs.. Really slow conference rooms.. Also a nice hotel and some caged animals (for the kids benefit). Plenty of parking space, too. Customer service is quite satisfactory.. My only complaint are the bathrooms, theyre really not nice and the real reason why I only rate this otherwise give place with 3 stars.
Great pit stop for people on the road. They have a small supermarket , a restaurant, one clothing store, a small green area on the side and bathrooms for travelers.
Good place for a stop while in transit from San Pedro Sula to Tegucigalpa they have a convenience store restaurant hotel and clean bathrooms for travelers
I love to stop by and have a cup of coffee with marmoleado Bread, my friends and I do it often after work.
Generally good food and great accommodations. The Macaws can be a little loud in the morning. Good place to stay in Siguatepeque.
Super cozy and elegant, not what youd expect on the road, this is about an hour or so before getting to Tegucigalpa, you pay for what you eat, attention is great, they have different rooms for conventions and conferences, wine selection is great and so for saladas and other typical desserts. You can even get some fine tobbacos hand made in honduras. Prices are affordable bur not cheap.
