Granite Lake Park in Salisbury

The park looks very pretty since the renovations. Great place to go for a walk around the track or trail. The playground is nice for smaller children.

Dog friendly trails around the park and the pond. Picnic tables, playground restrooms make this a great place to bring the kids.

We love this park. My grandson loves to take a picnic and then feed the ducks. The playground is small, but he loves it.

They have transformed this into a wonderful environment. A walking trail, pond and playground with plenty of picnic tables and benches to relax on!

Yesterday my boyfriend deaf and I walked for good enjoy good exercise and good health. We spend time together for our 18 year anniversary.

Its only for small kids. We just moved here and were so excited packed up the dog and my son but its only designed for very young small children.

Daughter and I walk there ALOT! We love it. My grandson also loves the playground.

This Egyptian goose has taken up residence at the park. It is quite unusual. It has a large brown spot on its breast. Native to Africa south of the Sahara and Nile Valley, they were considered sacred to the ancient Egyptians and are pictured in many Egyptian works of art. Today they can be found in Africa, Western Europe, the United States and New Zealand. They pair for life and can be aggressively territorial when breeding.

This is a fine place. When I lived near it I visited it often. I happened to drop by recently as I was in the area. The park has a nice pavilion with clean restrooms by the circular paved walkway around a pond. This area alone was pleasant to walk laps on or relax on a bench. There is a network of wooded trails connected to the walkway in the south side. I really enjoyed walking in the woods as well. The neighborhood is fortunate to have this. I recall someone saying that years ago before it was the park it was just a local swimming hole in the woods. I dont know if thats true.

Beautiful, they have little company Tress out and left little business cards to the side of it. There was lots and lots of ducks and geese. There is also food there, Thats just right for little bellies 😊 NEED QUARTERS

Nice place for a walk by yourself or with someone special. They have a play ground, rest rooms a pond with fish and ducks and geese. Good place for private parties, graduations, weddings etc. Clean and quiet. Beautiful upkept walking trails.

Love to go there it is a small park but sitting abd watching the water abd ducks (when the come backis peaceful. I love the people that walk around the pond.

Decent walking area for the kids and myself...pond area is always fun to explore...just wish it was always clean for the water creatures that dwell there. Playground could use a bit of upkeep to maintain safe for children. It’s basic at best but again, the kids enjoy it. So, no real complaints!

We recently attended a baby shower at Granite Lake Park. This park is very clean, well kept, and peaceful. The walk around the pond was beautiful and filled with huge fish, ducks, and turtles. My Grandson enjoyed the big playground as well. Well definitely be visiting again. Id recommend it for parties or just a day out for a picnic and relaxing day with the family.

I would give it a lot higher rating; except the bathroom was a complete horror show.. The toilets were full of everything you can think of in a bathroom. There was toilet paper all over the floor along with the entire floor was super flooded from one or more pipes. It smelled super nasty.. I do like its playground, pond, and little trail alot. There is a vending machine area under the pavilion tho.

It is a good place to walk with your family including pets, quiet and beautiful, would be better if there was food and drink available so you could eat and refresh as you walked, especially if you wanted to stay a while, loved the trails, but we didn’t use them this time as the Hawks were nesting and we had our little dog.

Great place to bring the family for a day out of the park they have playgrounds tennis courts basketball upon for fishing picnic tables and other things for the entire family its a beautiful place to visit in Salisbury and it has world war II monuments for the kids to learn about history and to pay respect to our fallen soldiers stop by youll be glad you did.

Beautiful lake with a paved sidewalk that wraps around the lake. A small playground for kids and a station you can get duck food to feed the ducks. Recommend for kids and adults to go and enjoy nature.

My two girls love it the ducks r always hungry no matter the time and u can actually feed them from ur hand such a great experience for my kids and others kids also has a walk around for mommys n daddys n a cute playground and even drink machine and duck food depspencers love it !

Relatively quiet, considering its right off highway 52.The walk-path is used quite frequently. Areas are clean.The fountain is very lovely and a small pier.The best feature......The Ducks.Bring appropriate duck food....Help them gain weight to protect them this coming winter.Lots of parking. Handicapped available too.

Very cute park! Perfect place to stretch your legs and walk your doggos! There are ducks and turtles in the pond. There is also a playground, picnic tables, a gazebo, and bathrooms.

Great little park with pound, fish, ducks. Playground area for young children and a Greenway trial for walking and jogging. The park is dog friendly, poopy bags available at different areas of the park to keep it clean. Has shelter and grilling area, restrooms our also provide here.

Love this little park. Can walk around blacktop pond or off the beaten path through the well maintained trails in the woods. Usually enough people around that I feel safe to walk the wooded path alone but if not I just walk around the pond a few times. Great little playground for the kids and covered pavilion with picnic tables.

I walk here a few times a week, great place for walking with a stroller, or your dog. Wooded area as well. Around the pond is asphalt, and playground for kids. Shelter right beside it with bathrooms and a vending machine.

This is a really nice park! I went over Christmas, and they had close to 20 trees decorated by local businesses, it was wonderful. They have a paved small loop around a fenced off pond, a small but new playground, and a few nice long but well maintained nature paths. It is both dog and kid friendly.

This park is really nice. Its very clean, very safe for even the smallest child. Its obvious the staff keep a close eye on it. My brothers and I really enjoyed our time walking the paths and playing on the playground.

Nice park - nice man made lake with fountain - great walking trail - play area for ages up to 8 - clean and shedded picnic tables and benches - electric outlets- water fountains - clean restrooms - open area ---- Had a two year old party here.

My family loved every bit! Walking around the pond, feeding the ducks, geese and fish and watching the turtles! The children enjoyed the small playground on the premises also. Highly recommend if just looking for a place to bring the children and/or relax. Ill be visiting everytime Im in town.

I love bringing my kids here its an amazing little park with amazing people always around it. Has a playground at top of the hill which overlooks the entire pond and you can be on any side of the pond and still see your kids or family loved ones or what have you.it has one of the best stocked ponds Ive ever seen with giant goldfish turtles and ducks always plentiful for some great pictures. It has bathrooms and handicap parking. One of the best features is the two dogs that allow you to walk out over the water and get a better view the fish turtles and ducks. It also has a large shelter that you can use to host parties and events and has a lot of space. And another feature that I love is the large dirt running trail around the entire park.

Refreshing place for a walk, eat lunch at the gazebo, nice walking trail, beautiful waterfall in the lake surrounded by the amazing geese. Mostly shaded with wooded areas provides options for family functions. A covered picnic area is available.Pretty background for picture taking, also.

Dog friendly has a small pond with lots of turtles and ducks. Small playground for kids. Is free to go there. Has restrooms and some benches. Also has some short trails you can walk or run. Watch out for hawks though lol.
