Grandma’s Thai Cuisine in Killeen

This was my first time trying thai and i was not disappointed. The food was so delicious and filling. Great portions for what you pay for. The older lady that works there was very helpful in helping me find what i wanted, and even asked what spice level i wanted. The service was quick as well. Definitely will not be my last time coming here.S/n: if you’re a crab rangoon lover, try her’s. It has a surprising twist to it.

Dont know where to eat go to Grandmas Buffet open @ 11 never disappoints. Also they have Fish on Fridays so good.

First time eating here and fell in love. The guy taking my order was so cool and I appreciate his hospitality 💖 yes I will be coming back! And yes I highly recommend eating here if you love thia or just want to try something new! This is the place to go!

My daughter found Grandmas on google and I was pleasantly surprised the service and the food were wonderful! The food came out quick and the woman who served us was very friendly. I have not been very impressed by a lot of restaurants in the area, this place was a gem. Thank you!

Great food. They could improve on the look and feel inside the restaurant. There is a sense that furniture is old and antiquated and looks cluttered. However, the taste of the food is amazing! For those reasons, they get a 4!

My wife and I found this place trying to get a quick bite while house hunting. The best Thai restaurant in this part of Texas hands down.

The food is always top notch here! Good prices reflective of the portion sizes. Theyre always so helpful and accommodating for spice levels.

Food is great but service is Terrible. Waited 1.5 hours for to go food. This was 30 minutes as they said and once I arrived another 45 minutes. No updates and checked on people who had arrived after me and had there food done before mine. I just recommend calling again before going to make sure your food is ready and completely done before you arrive.

Delicious been coming here for years. Best Thai in the area. The ginger chicken sti fry is my new favorite its clean but with flavor. Chunks of ginger... you must like ginger lol

This was the best Tai food restaurant ever! I took my kids there and they loved it because they made them a special meal since they didnt have white rice spicy with chicken. Truly amazing 🤩

We absolutely love this place. It is very small but the women who work here are hard working and so friendly. Its a hole in the wall place so you know they have some REALLY good food. The wait can be long and thats because they are so popular and only one cook. If you want good Thai food and have a comfortable ending to eat in then this is the place for you.

Only THEE best on this side of town. I say that because I havent eaten at ALL the ones in Killeen but heights YES. Never ever done me wrong. Flavor be on point!!! and I hope yall never leave. Very authentic food. We went medium as far as levels go and it had some kick. Great for sinus conjestion! The lunch buffet is temporarily not available. We normally get the Red Curry Chicken however, we ventured out to stir-fry (Pad Chaand were extremely happy. The service was pretty quick (15 minutesand the meal was worth it.

This is probably the best Thai food I’ve ever had. It’s always busy so don’t expect it in a hurry but the staff is kind & the food is delicious! Yum yum yum!

Food is really really good and every time I get it I love it. Never had any problems and the people there are nice. Bit of a weird vibe when you walk in so I usually get it to go but other than that its a really good place to get some awesome Pad Thai.

The rating being this high makes me question the accuracy of all Thai reviews in Central Texas. The restaurant was messy, sticky, and the bathroom was gross. The food was bland, and nothing tasted fresh.

Favorite place to go. Only buffet in the area that wont give you an upset digestive tract. I love the food. The buffet is small, but everything is excellent. I wish they would get a fountain drink machine, but I can see that those are expensive. Im hoping that they keep doing what they do.

Im not sure of the gentleman that was their today at the register answering phone calls and serving food in the restaurant and also taking togo orders the hole time I was their but he was awesome!!! Very kind and not even stressed out doing these tasks and doing a great job!!! I wish I new his name! The service was grate! Even though I was just placing an order for an Uber delivery.... My experience that I had their for that short time was 🙂 nice!!!! I would love to try the food someday. Hopefully I can 🙂

Excellent meal! Many meals I have had say they are spicy but lack any real flavor. The owner explained and then recommended a spice level that was just right! There was enough food for two meals and if I had just the Stir Fry Vegetables without Shrimp, it would have been just as good! I will be going back!

This is by far the best Thai food Ive had in years. I ordered yellow chicken curry and asked for it spicy, and that is exactly what I got. The chicken was so tender it nearly fell apart when I touched it with my spoon, and the vegetables were also as tender as could be. I dont live here, but Im certain I will be there again before I leave.

Ive been in Killeen my whole life, so Im kind of biased towards Taiwan Dragons fried rice. I took my wife here for lunch ordered myself some eggrolls and the combo fried rice and lost my damn mind.😱😱😱 My new go to spot......I only wish she really was y Grandma.

I discovered this little gem close to my workplace and the food here is amazing! My favorite dish is Laab beef and it’s absolutely delicious here. The young man who works at the front was also very kind and nice to talk to. Glad I found this place!

Love love love Grandmas! They havent let us down for the past several years. From their shrimp in a blanket to thai spicy pepper steak my family loves this place.

I am SO happy I finally found a place with amazing chicken pad Thai!! I got the medium level of spicy and it was definitely a bit more then I thought I could handle but still ate the entire thing! Can’t wait to return!

I have noticed the quantity of meat in the dishes on the buffet have went down but the price of the buffet went up. Also the garlic fried chicken on the buffet does not taste like garlic fried chicken it seems as if it is only fried. Also they are no longer use pet milk in the Thai tea. It no longer taste the same.

Been meaning to visit for a couple years now. Finally had the lunch buffet earlier today and it was a delicious variety of some of my favorites. Crab rangoon appetizer had a wonderful flavor, I think it was curry added to it? Whatever it was, yum! I really appreciated that the tv was off, too, it was nice to not have to talk over the noise of commercials or newscasts. Hoping to come back soon.

Oh my goodness! Their food is amazing!! Best Thai cuisine Ive had in Texas so far. We moved from Virginia in 2017 and this is the only Thai restaurant I enjoy going to. Their Tom yum is delicious and is great when youre sick. Of course I will definitely be back. Trying to get my cousin to go to lol.

Went for the lunch buffet and after drink and tax it came out to be $10. Not too bad for all the delicious food available to you. If you haven’t been I highly recommend. Not to mention the staff up front is super nice and made sure everything was to out satisfaction. Excellent place will be a repeat customer.

This is a little Mom & Pop restuarant where they bend over backwards to please. My family loves the food there and the atmosphere. We usually get some kind of stir fry, but this time I tried the red curry. The flavor is wonderful. The mild was a little too warm for me. Next time I will try the green.

Their yellow curry and fried rice with chicken were PERFECT! Everything was so flavorful and abundant in quantity (both my husband and I took home ample leftovers for our lunches tomorrow). Definitely coming back!

My husband introduced me to this place. We usually get the same stuff. His absolute favorite is the thom yum seafood soup and he does extra extra thai spicy. I have been trying a few different things and I like all of it.

The food was delicious. We dined in. Its quaint and pleasant, very clean. The nice lady running the place was hospitable. This is the first Thai food Ive had in the area and it was great. Highly recommended!

Now this place is a little gem. The food is good, they have a buffet which is limited in the foods that are available but you can also place regular orders. The owner is extremely nice! Ive been eating here for years with no problems.

Enjoyed my lunch here. The people are very friendly and make you feel welcome. I got the buffet. The food was decent for a small buffet. Good homemade condiments to adjust heat and flavor to your liking. Reasonable price. I will go back.

My husband and I love this place! It is our absolute favorite restaurant. We dont even bother eating Thai food anywhere else, its this place or no Thai food because nothing else ever compares. We drive over an hour round trip just to eat here, everything we have tried has been SO good!

I recently dined in here and had a great experience. The dining room was clean and the service was prompt. Most importantly, the food was excellent. I ordered an appetizer sampler and Pad See Eiw. The flat noodles were cooked perfectly in a savoury-sweet sauce. I will be back for sure!

I went here for the first time today. I will definitely be back. My favorite Thai place closed, so I was looking for a replacement place. And this is it. The egg rolls are delicious and the beef salad had the perfect amount of spice!!! I love it. It has buffet during lunch so you can try so it all:the buffet was a little small, but I wasnt disappointed. Everything was yummy!
