If youre looking for a private function space " Look No Further!" We came across this little Gem by accident and I had the absolute pleasure of celebrating a milestone Birthday here.Gorgeous function space upstairs & friendly helpful staff. Liz supported us through the whole way and made the organizing of this even t seamless. I highly recommend this Venue.

The food and beer selection is pretty good. Some of the staff were friendly and helpful, others were extremely rude and angry. Totally bizarre.We booked some tables outside on the assurance that there were plenty of heaters - for some reason, when we asked for the heaters to be turned on we were told "none of the heaters work!" Only to watch a staff member replace the gas bottle in a heater beside another table for some other patrons. Not sure why we were treated as second class citizens - we were there through a quiet afternoon period in which we all ate and drank a reasonable amount.We definitely wont be rushing back!

Our local in Brunswick. Staff are awesome and great selection of food and drinks. The steaks here are really great! One thing, if you could organize to have Guiness on tap I’d be there everyday haha!

The Grandview Hotel is a wonderful venue to have a great meal, awesome beers on tap and relaxed family friendly environment. The owners Robert and Liz and the team are very warm and welcoming, they embody the true meaning of a pub, a public house where you can celebrate an occasion with friends or just enjoy a nice meal with a glass of wine or a beer. Grandview on West Brunswick is our local. The staff are always friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The food is restaurant quality and never disappoints. Highly recommend.

Nice place with good service and pretty good food 😊 my partner loves their eggplant parmas, saying its one of the best! I love that they have schooner size drinks too (as well as pints and pots of course). Recommend checking them out if youre nearby.

My favourite pub in Brunswick. I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing the fantastic hospitality of Casey, Rob, Bridge and the team. They are so welcoming, have great customer service and love a chat.The Grandview has a great menu, plenty of tap options and an all round great vibe.I can’t recommend this place enough.

Hands down the best pub Brunswick wide. Friendly staff, warm surroundings, delicious menu (new kitchen looks amazing!). The Grand View is a bloody joy to frequent. Over the moon that lockdown restrictions are easing so can once again grab a beer, meal and a laugh.

Casey went above and beyond with her service. We initially had a table outside in the wind and she pulled some strings to get us a warmer seat to make us and the pup comfortable. We really appreciate it. Also the food was exactly what we were craving after lockdown.

Was once a good local pub but this new iteration of staff are borderline pathological. Take a few extra minutes and go to The Union around the corner or better yet The Brunswick Green.

The burgers here (especially the beef burgeris FRIGGIN AMAZING!!! So tasty! I could not devour this thing fast enough. Made an absolute mess of myself with no regrets at all!! Easily top 3 burgers in Melbourne for me.

Can I give them more than 5 stars?? Absolutely fabulous! The bar is cosy and has a great range of craft beers on offer. The food is consistent and really delicious. Love the welcoming feel that you always get at the Grandview, I really feel like its a cornerstone of the community.I also held a 40th birthday in their function space upstairs. Its a lovely, comfortable space with lots of nooks for catching up, and a really cool balcony area. Liz and Rob really went above and beyond to look after us and all our guests. Just fantastic!

Great little place to hang out. Its our local over on the side of town friends live. The parma is the go to meal. Friendly service every time we are in there and nice cold drinks. Cant go wrong.

Been living in Brunswick West now for a couple of years....Started going to the GrandView pre COVID and always enjoyed meals and the atmosphere and then lockdown happened.....We started ordering meals during lockdown and it became our regular Saturday Night takeout.....Now that we’re getting into the new Post COVID every weekend we can we’re at the GrandView ....Rob and Liz run an amazing pub and are great people! DO NOT miss the cheese burger rolls as they are incredible and truthfully you can’t really go wrong....Steak, Parmas , Gnocchi, Vegetarian meals the quality is always consistently good and never had a bad meal!All the staff are great and Casey especially always does such a great job of making us feel welcome and we feel as if we’re dining more with friendsIf you’re in the area you must check it out!

Went for the first time the other night, and will definitely be back. The servers were so friendly and the food was delicious. Great vegetarian options that go beyond the standard pub fare. I had the eggplant involtini, which was amazing.

Some of the best pub food I think Ive ever had, Grand View definitely punches above its weight as a local suburban pub. With a handful of delightful surprises on the menu, excellently executed pub classics, and a solid beer and wine list, this has quickly become one of my favorite pubs in all of Melbourne.

The best vibe. Great staff and experience. 10/10. Best chicken Parma I have ever had. No joke! The best pub meal in Melbourne. One comment said “like a country pub in Brunswick” and I am so hear for that comment.

While the venue itself is great, the member of staff with the long blonde ponytail was inexcusably rude. We were made to feel entirely unwelcome from the moment we asked where our table was. After the booking concluded, we politely asked if there was any availability to sit in the front bar, to which he snapped “absolutely not!” and stormed off.I understand that they were busy and working under exceptional circumstances, but being in customer service myself, this was a terrible way to reply to a politely asked query. The fact we were unable to stay was entirely reasonable but his attitude was not.This is the first time I have ever left a negative review, but the team there need to know how their clientele are being treated. I am leaving three stars because it was purely this behaviour that marred an otherwise lovely experience.

Diners Notes: Freshest and best flavoured they have had in a long time, the calamari was fresh to death, the chips crispy, the salad seasoned an overall outstanding dish.Chicken Parma: Best sauce the diner has eaten in a pub, great portion, crispy chips, moist chicken.Vegetarian Curry (can always be risky): Executed to perfection, a little spice, great creamy flavours, served with fluffy saffron rice.Crispy Tofu Burger (subbed in House made hand cut ships for normal chips): Deeply satisfying with great texture, balance and flavour, the chips are truly next level.Beers were fresh, ice cold and deeply satisfying, good short, well crafter tap menu. Wine list covers a lot of bases and has a little something for everyone.

The yummiest chips in Melbourne and delicious fresh steak sandwiches, so glad to be supporting a Brunswick local business. The lockdown pickup takeaway menu is so good. Will be using these guys heaps in the nexy few months.

Amazing food and great staff. Feels like a friendly country pub right here in Brunswick, making it my favourite pub in Melbourne. Still doing delicious takeaway and cant wait for them to reopen so I can go in for a drink and a meal.

I only had a couple of quite beers on my own, but was packed with people doing a trivia night, i think. Good atmosphere, friendly staff, not a heap of room in the bar section and JEEPERS 😳 the prices for a simple beer has absolutely skyrocketed!! All in all though, I think could be a good place to have a meal (only saw the dining area through the window, sorry!!or a few drinks ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Hi all had my birthday celebrations at the Grand View last night . This place is a little gem of Brunswick great food great beer and great atmosphere. Truly one of the best venues I have visited in a long time. Warm and friendly service great pool table brilliant food. Being a chef I was so happy to see and experience that old school vibe which has been forgotten in so many of the other establishments. Thank you for a night to remember and keep up the great work you are all doing. Thank you for a great night Steve.
