Katip Kasım, Katip Kasım Mahallesi, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Pasa caddesi, Fabrika Sk. No:10-12, 34130 Fatih/İstanbul, Turkey, Istanbul
This understated hotel is a 3-minute walk from the nearest transit station, and 3 km from both the Hagia Sophia Museum and The Blue Mosque.Featuring carpeted floors and wood furnishings, the casual rooms offer Wi-Fi access, flat-screen TVs and minifridges, as well as safes, and tea and coffeemaking equipment.Amenities consist of a restaurant, a bar and a meeting room. A spa offers massages, an indoor pool, a hammam and a sauna. Breakfast is available.
Thanks to Caner and Ahmet from the reception our first and short stay in Instanbul was pleasant and comfortable.
There are parking lots next to the hotel. The staff is polite. The rooms are a bit dated with outdated furniture and noisy air conditioners
Had a great experience staying here. The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms. The only disadvantage are the small double rooms. (My friends stayed at one)I personally stayed at a triple room, which was spacious enough. The staff is friendly and helpful. We took a package with a breakfast included. The buffet was very tasty and various. You can find a huge amount of fruits, bread, musli, tea and so on. What I didnt like is that the so called espresso from the vending machine was a nescafe, not an espresso. But the tea was good as always. The locations is perfect - there is a metro station 5 minutes away from the hotel. You can also walk 5 minutes to reach the sea and to take a walk there. Also you can find a wide range of stall with fruits, corn, food, simits etc. The hotel is also located at 30 minutes walking distance from the main landmarks. (Aya Sofia, The Blue mosque, Topkapı, Kapalı Carşi, Yerebatan and so on)
Grand unal rooms a bit small. But service and staff excellent. Will most definitely recommend as location great.
Great location and value for money. Everywhere was clean, attentive staff and breakfast with a view to die for. Within easy reach of everything. Would recommend.
Great location and service but the hotel quality is low. It should be 2 or 3 star rooms not 4 star as stated online especially as the price is high but overall not a bad place to stay in. Thank you
AVOID!Rude staff and smelly rooms. Cleaning lady does not clean bathroom and goes through guests stuff.
Bad breakfast, small smelly rooms, no soundproofing.
Breakfast was good and the 7th floor is somewhat scenic. We booked a double too but they gave is a twin room ! There was no sound proofing as mentioned on booking and no mini bar as advertised on booking(not wven water)When we asked they said they provide hammam swimming pool and sauna so they dont provide water . Well we didnt use any of the hammam or sauna . Wifi was poor . Room was cleaned daily . Very accessible - metro station 8 minutes walk and just outside the hotel are many restaurants and shops for groceries and shopping .Receptionists speak good English.
Perfect location, small but cozy and warm rooms, however breakfast could be better.
As for the hotel, it is great, the location is very good, the treatment is more than good, in the reception there are very respectful and very helpful staff, especially Ahmed who speaks Arabic and another person whose name I forgot in Turkish, the breakfast is varied and rich, the cleanliness every day in short, I advise everyone to visit the hotel especially Moroccans
Nice hotel with good reception treatment.
Stay if you just have to... otherwise, you can find for the price somewhere better. Person, whos at the duty in the evening at the reception sees you more of a threat than a client. He checks everything, too much questions
He hava a small room but it’s clean with good breakfast and service and friendly
I want to ask if you have hair dryers in all rooms ?? Do you provide hair shampo every day??
Reception man not good
The hotel doesnt welcome couples" reception said. So beware before you book a room and travel aaaalll the way down here.
Best location best people best hotel
This hotel is great on so many levels:The staff are professional and helpful, due to our early flight they agreed on an early checkin. The hotel is clean, the rooms are clean and the service is on point. The breakfast includes a good variety and includes good food. Stayed for 4 nights there and never had any issues. The street is busy during the day but it’s relatively calm and quiet during the night. It includes a sauna and a small gym and pool which can be very helpful. Finally it’s walking distance from the connecting stations. Highly recommended.
Perfect location, clean, delicious breakfast. Nice facilities.
Very good place, quite and safe , pleasant staff , clean rooms, very good breakfast 👌
Very clean hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast
This hotel doesnt even deserve 0 starsIt is arguably the worst and most dangerous hotel in Istanbul. Stay away from this hotel.
Great employees at reception , restaurant and the people for cleaning
The hotel is great. The breakfast is from07-10 am. The pool is open from 10 am to 10 pm. The spa centre is closed because of COVID-19. The rooms are ok. They clean it everyday. The pool is 1.5 metres deep and 5 metres long. The restaurant has a view to the sea, and the hotel is really close to a market and center. The workers speak English and Turkish. Some of them Arabic and Russian. I will come back, cuz why not
Hotel was very nice and clean, so were the rooms, would definitely recommend it for a family, there are phones that communicate from both rooms, close from a metro station ( 20 minute walk , food was very nice too ( breakfast and was eaten on a terrace, the elevator is small and can only fit 2 people at a time so thats the only negative thing, everything else is amazing.
One of the towels was not clean. The service is good but the hygiene is not very good even the rooms are cleaned every day.
I am a regulare customersNormally staff are friendly and helpfulThis time i was late to cjeck in for one dayI informed the staff at the hotel on time about that but when i came on next day the person at the desk was not cooprativeHe refused to let me check in and he refused to let me speak with the managerThat was very rude
Favorite place to stay in Istanbul. Kind staff, normal prices. Situated in Laleli, Aksaray.
Small rooms, the worst thing thin walls, breakfast average, cigarette smelling bathroom, small pool not like the pictures, for sure haunted...
Nice place to stay if you plan to visit Istanbul in the future. The rooms aren’t that big and most of them don’t have a double bed. Instead they have twin single beds that can be moved if you choose to. The breakfest is nice and divers with a good view of the harbour(it’s on the 7th floor). You also get a pool and sauna if you like and a generous lobby. The staff is very kind and helpful. It’s close the the metro and tram station and you can arrive at the blue mosque or Hagia Sofis in about 20 min on foot.
Good place to stay. staff was friendly, Breakfast also good , you can experienced Traditional Turkish bath and Sauna in this hotel.
Good hotel good service clean rooms very nice worker in this hotel
The service is great , i met a new friend for life here ,his name is ahmad the guy at the recption, helped me out with everything i needed from a-z , i will definitely be back just because of his great personality and service.
It was clean and good, the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good. But one would expect more choice. The pool is quite small, but functioning. There is a sauna, Turkish bath and a gym. The reception desk was very helpful with parking. The location of the hotel is great if you drive, and it is also close to railway and metro stations. Within walking distance to the bazaar, Blue mosque and High Sophia.
Clean and spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. Clean bathroom. Nice and helpfull receptionists.
The hotel has two buildings. Dont take a room on the right side one; the rooms are tiny. Go to the lobby in the left building and ask for a room. The sub basement has a hole in the ground with water in it which they call a pool. My daughter says its haunted. The location is great; in the marketplace with plenty of shops and restaurants. Metro station is across the road.
Nice clean rooms. Recommended👍
Its a nice hotel to stay comfortably.
Staff very helpful and polite you cant imagine how much they are acting with you in a very nice way with alot of care, specially Melih he make all my needs with a special care, room was so big, wonderful and comfort, clean. Hotel is nearing for every thing yeni kapı metro station, Aksaray tramvay also if you coming from the new airport (istanbul Airportyou will just need to cross the road over the bridge after you get out of the bus.
Good location near Metro station that you can go to Ataturk airport or to Taksim, also about 300m away from tram.Small clean room but i didnt like the odour when I enter the room.Good breakfast with nice view to the sea.The hotel have only one elevator for only 3 persons that make you wait to have it.I think if there is enough money you can get better hotel.
Very nice and lovely place. The staff so kind and generous with everyone.
Small and clean rooms, breakfast could be better, I did not particularly like the food, but that is a personal opinion. Good value for the money.
A good hotel with a nice location, but it is not the same as the pictures and the manager was soooooo rude
Morning breakfast every day and good employees
. Very small rooms, dark, dirty and smelly. One shocking thing: the walls between rooms do not seem to be sound proof!! You can hear your next door neighbour talk to his wife or talk on the phone! They also can hear you so there is no privacy!. One very small lift which means: be prepared to wait to go to the small breakfast room on the 8th floor!. Tiny breakfast room. Limited selection of food (example: 2 types of jam, no fried eggs, no English breakfast, no croissants.... Very narrow corridors. It claims to have an indoor swimming pool but despite pictures they display online, it was shockingly small 3 meters wide, not good enough even for babies. And it should be referred to in description as a baby pool. The pool water in April was icy cold The manager said they do not have the equipment to heat it and it is cold all year round!!.. The sauna is kept closed to save power and we had to speak to manager to turn it on for a while and it was warm NOT hot enough!. Gym: they only have 5 little pieces of equipment crammed by the little pool!. Réception staff were unhelpful and rude. On one occasion I went to the little bar by reception to get a drink, the barman was away and the receptionist told me wait saying that the barman was somewhere around and he will be back shortly. So I waited for 10 minutes then I approached the receptionist again and insisted I was running out of time, he then used his radio to call him and in no time the barman arrived! He was playing with his phone and did not bother to help initially! This example shows how careless and difficult they can be!In brief, I have been to other hotels in Turkey but this one was a big disappointment. It is too tiny, dark, dirty with little cold pool and poor gym equipment crammed in a small low roof room in the basement and has rude staff and not worth the money agencies ask for
Good location, clear room, bathroom. Nice breakfast. Excelent wifi! Warm recommendation.
Very good access to all Metro lines, Bus station, Tramwayeasy access to supermarket and restaurantclean room but smalltrusty safe boxgood safe
No Service in this hotel . They have marked 4 stars on wall but this is not at all more than 2 star . Breakfast was strange
So nice abe have nice rom and showr and eat all nice
