Grand Pela Hotel & Suites in Abuja

A lovely hotel with great facilities to relax in.

For over one week now the Wi-fi connection has been extremely poor. I kept on reporting the inability for me to complete essential assignments due to bad connection but have only received empty promises. I believe they are not ready to pay for enough bandwidth that will cater for guests wifi needs. I am canceling my remaining bookings and moving to another hotel. I will not recommend this hotel for any serious business person

My experience in Grand pela hotel is memorable. In fact, I wonder why I didnt have my honeymoon in that hotel. If you have an experience of beautiful hotels in Dubai, you have its replica in Grand Pela Hotel. If you love simple luxury, then visit Grand Pela Hotel. The rooms are spacious and the restroom/bathroom is flawless. There was no malfunction of any sort. Talk about their staff? They are cordial and courteous. The janitors are neat and respectful. I met an eloquent and beautiful Kachi, I guess she is a customer care personnel or something. She was so sweet and helpful. Hunnay, you should go see for yourself. Ebenebe buu ebe afu! Serene environment and efficient service! I know for sure that I will go back there. A couple of my friends visited and were so in love with the place. They have a beautiful pool side, a gym room etc. I would tell you for a song that all you need is to take your family or loved ones there and watch them love you more. If I want my kids to finish their chores, all I have to do is to say that you are not acting like you want to be in Grand Pela hotel, the moment they hear that, they swing into action and finish their chores. Lol. It may sound hilarious but thats the power of a well managed hotel. Honestly, I love this hotel. The owner deserves a title nwa hotel business dolo anya 1 of Nigeria I pray that this standard does not drop. They need more recognition and patronage. It is well deserved.

Breakfast was not good. Courteous and professional staff right from the Entrance.

It was quite pleasant and the staff were very friendly and dedicated.I dont mind visiting again. Excellent service.

Great place with security and good hospitality.

I had a good stay here. The place was clean, enough space for guest parking and the rooms looked elegant. The rooms come with complimentary breakfast, access to the gym and access to the pool. The room floor was covered with rug but it was clean. I loved the see-through bathroom overlooking the bedroom. You have large windows in the rooms with nice views of the surrounding locations. They have two pools here and I guess the second one is for children because it was shallow. They also have a sit-out by the pool with a bar here; good if you need some calm by the poolside. The only issue I had here was the frequent power outages and need to turn off the generator for an hour at night due to maintenance activities.

Their staffs are superb. Their rooms are very very neat, their restaurant ohhhhhh, the best part. Free gym, free swimming pool area. And yes, their WiFi is strong as well

The hotel is very well equipped, the gym is absolutely lovely and the pool is so nice. They clean the pool everyday and that made me so happy

The rooms are great. But the event spaces need a lot of fixing. Toilets smell badly and the halls need face-lift. Very unruly staff at the kitchens too.

The hotel is good while its food too was nice. Its staff were courteous and helpful. There is a need to check its intercom as someone wrongly called my room when she wanted to call the reception.

This hotel is located in serene environment in Durumi, Abuja. It has a nice pool and everything a modern hotel should be equipped with.

Neat rooms, polite staff, tasty dishes. They had no cold water which was frankly annoying but the waiters at the restaurant supplied us with ice often enough for that to make a good impact

Dont know about now, was at this hotel i 2018 and it was a spectacular experience. Hope to visit again soon with family this time

Moderate to High budget hotel located in a quite location with easy accessibility to major parts of Abuja. The Bed is comfortable. The room and toliet is clean and stains freeThe workers are courteous. They always wearing a smile. Services are good and promptLight avaliable 24 hours

The name Grand is accurate.From the reception to the hospitality, ambiance and all needs to be studied.

Standards have fallen greatly , it was disappointing. Food was didnt taste great ,waiters where untrained and slow annoying.

From the outside it looked ugly but when I entered I was amazed ,good security system ,well equipped gym ,nice swimming pool area with a section for children,very neat environment, availability of light,water,security, staffs were polite, food is nice ,environmental sanitation is top notch ,highly recommended

Very enjoyable stay and excellent cuisine for the complimentary breakfast. I thought I had one complimentary breakfast out of the 3 nights I spent there only to learn later that breakfast was complimentary for the 3 days I slept there. IMAGINE.

An okay place to go for a swim. The adult pool is isnt Olympic standard buh very okay and a childrens pool is also available. It costs N2000 per adult and payment has to be made at the reception.A life guard is on stand-by from 6am to 6pm on Monday to Sunday.The changing rooms are clean and organised.Staffs are friendly and helpful.A DJ is also present, he delivered some late 90s and early 2000 hits(it was really different from what we listen to everyday, I really enjoyed it). He also came through with some Michael Jackson songs (totally loved this😍).The food and drinks menu is fairly good, nothing extraordinary. However, the pies (chicken pie and meat pieare the tastiest Ive had in the city of Abuja.

Warm, personable staff. Decent rooms - modern design, but rather small. I enjoyed the food a lot though. The sweets were absolutely delicious. And unlike some other hotels, you can take away in packs for 300 naira.

They need to do a lot of maintenance on their pool. Two people got cut in the pool because there was a sharp end on the stairs which they were aware about but did nothing to prevent injuries. It wasnt a pleasant experience.

The rooms are nice, the environment is serene. They sell nice meals but the meals are pricey. But when using the hotel for a meeting, one has to strictly follow them up, especially with regards to the teabreak and lunch. They tend to want to cut corners with the amount of food made available. Their peppersoup is practically water with very funny looking size of protein served as starters for meeting lunch. They have a spacious event hall which can be used for meetings and event involving a large number of people. Its a nice place in general. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast services for one person as well.

From the entrance of the hotel to the pool area by all standard its a 5 star hotel. It is a been managed by the Premium Swiss Hospitality a Swiss management company that is well known for its excellence. I dunno about its customer service but looking at the ambience, you would want to stay there all the time.

It is located in Durumi phase opposite NNPC filling station, along American International School. The hotel is located in a serene environment with more presence of nature. The hotel is good for visitors who do not want to lodge in the main town. It is affordable and has good rooms relatively.

Pleasantly surprised as to how beautiful the hotel is. The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly and professional. I always looked forward to the free breakfast, absolutely delicious.I would give them 6 stars if I could.

Beautiful, spacious rooms. There are also meeting rooms of different capacity. Wide parking space. The water in the swimming pool is usually warm in the morning to enable you have a cool swim. The gym is also available for lodged guests.The staff are cool and friendly staff, it only seem that their food is not top notch

Wonderful place, nice poolside bar. Spacious rooms with good furniture and sensor controlled light. The restaurant has a lot of main courses and pastries. Good customer service and security is moderate. All together a great stay is guaranteed.

Well organized. Beautiful design. Customer service is good too.Theres a nice bar and lounge setting which has a pool. I use their gym consistently. Well equipped with a good instructor.

So I am here at the pool side having dinner with my kids and it started raining. The hotel couldn’t provide us an umbrella rather they went in for cover leaving us in the rain. We managed to use a table cover to get ourselves into the hotel and wait for over an hour just to get what we ordered!!! I am still waiting and honestly I just feel like canceling the pending orders.Service is very slow!!!!
