Beautiful hotel with spacious rooms, lots of art throughout building, hot spring, saunas, gym, and rooftop pool. Everything was sanitized and super clean during our stay which made us feel more comfortable. Bonus is the rooms have lavazza espresso pods and machine. Enjoyed our stay here. The area is somewhat quiet but still plenty of places to eat and grab a drink.

This Teppanyaki set is really value for money with less than 100 USD including service and tax. The lobster, fish, and beef roll dishes taste great!

Mayfull Hotel is one of the 5 stars hotel makes me feel warm and welcome. The most beautiful parking lots I’ve ever seen full of Taiwan famous attractions paintings on the walls. The room we are staying is cozy and everything in the room so updated. You can watch ur YouTube & Netflix directly on TV. Compensation sneaks,beverage and fruits all free of charge. The bath tub and shower so comfy. If I have to say one place need to improve is sauna area is too small 4people in the tub is already too crowded. But overall is a comfy experience and definitely will visit again.

i went to Mayfull Hotel to buy some italian food at the First floor market. There i Met the italian food ambassador Antonio who suggested me to try GMT restaurant.Finally i had dinner there, the food is delicious, service is very careful to customer and Antonio was very friendly to share with us many curiosity about what we eat.Really appreciate that he came to show us the "lobster tagliolini" before the waitress share it on 2 plates, very professional.One of the great luxury hotel we stayed..

Bad location, inconvenient, extremely unhelpful staff who never responded to my messages. I booked in advance, messaged in advance about my pet, even though they already state they are “pet friendly”. No response. Fine. It wasn’t until I arrived in that cheap, middle of nowhere location, that I was refused entrance with my pet. Fake “nice” hotel. A decent hotel is not necessarily about the most intricate ceiling designs. It’s the service first and foremost that sets a 5 star hotel apart from just a nice room with nice furniture. In this regard, the Mayfull is a 1 Star backpacking hostel. Except at hostels people have fun. Thanks for kicking me and my pet out, no response to my email, no apology for my wasted time and coming all the way and leaving me stranded, just because you are too lazy to read guest emails and too uninformed to know what a “pet” means, and again too lazy to fix your mistake. EXTRA thanks for ruining my birthday. If you have a pet, go to Kimptons in Da’an- much better location in a proper, nice area, lovely staff, and beautiful, Scandinavian interior. Even if you don’t have a pet... go somewhere else

This is one of the best luxury hotels Ive stayed. Both the interior and exterior are elegantly built with high quality materials. Every detail was carefully considered and tended to. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the food was excellent. I felt pampered and was completely satisfied with my stay. Grand Mayfull Hotel Taipei will be at the top of my list when I consider hotels for my next trip to Taipei.

We had a wonderful time here. The room was clean and spacious with a wonderful view of the outside. The breakfast buffet was delicious and even had braised beef noodles available! Will come back MULTIPLE times if they maintain this standard.

Very spacious modern rooms with large beds. About 15 min taxi drive from Taipei station on non congested hours.

Very disappointing. The front desk was very haughty and unfriendly. We arrived at noon, and we understood the room might not be available. Therefore, we asked nicely whether we can stay at the pool side to wait for our room. The receptionist not just turn down us but also restated firmly with a very domineering attitude that we can only access ALL the hotel facilities after 3 pm and can not use anything after noon on the day we check-out. Even the pool side, not using the pool, was not allowed. However, the rooms were well designed indeed. Can tell they use quality material, furnitures to set up this hotel.

Beautiful hotel with roomy space. Both Chinese and buffet restaurants are very good. The service is excellent. The only downside is it’s location. 8-10 walking distance to MRT but shuttle service is provided to hotel guests.

I held a 60th Birthday Party for my wife at the Grand Mayfull Hotel Taipei on 30 November 2019. It was surely the best party I have held so far. We gain a lot of helpful advice from Ms Katie from Catering Sales, and she stationed there at the venue to help the arrangement before the party started, very responsible. The set dinner was perfect, makes Mayfull easily stands out from the crowd, don’t have to mention the timing of serving the food, its perfect again. On top of of that, they help to arrange decoration, cameramen ....makes everything unforgettable. Thank you Grand Mayfull and Katie, well done.

The room is quite large and the staffs are very friendly. We had a very good moment over the stay. The staff in the gym, Roy, is very professional and willing to help us know how to use the training equipments properly.

A nice place to relax. The room was spacious and the best was so comfortable. The blackout drapes were amazing. Not the best location if you want to walk around a lot but its nice if you just want a nice place to stay and casually sight see.

Nice buffet at the Pallette and quite a pretty hotel in an upmarket part of Taipei. I did wonder a little why somebody would call it the Mayfull, I guess that was probably based on the pronounciation of the name in Mandarin. Then I wondered why the restaurant was called the Pallette...because of the splurges of color on the ceiling?

Very luxury hotel. The gym is not like a regular one, but it wont be a problem to have a nice workout. They only have sauna for men which is a little unfair to ladies. Outdoor pool is very nice. The water is warm and wont get to much sun there. The room is super comfortable and luxury.

We had an awesome stay at Mayfull. The room was very well thought out and comfortable, and the staff were super friendly. Highly recommended.

Had never stay in the hotel room before. We had our company annual party there, food was great, good service. Beautiful building.

Went there for a friends wedding banquet. The reception and door staff were very friendly and professional.The banquet catering staff were quick and efficient but a little over zealous at clearing plates off the table. The poor girl serving our table had a cold but didnt wear a mask or shield her coughing. Other than that she was very attentive and even suggested to box one share of everything for the empty seat.On the way out while waiting for a taxi in the cold weather, the doorman suggested we stand closer to the outdoor gas heater. Little friendly gestures makes this place seem less corporate and much warmer.

Unapologetic staff and the manager Edward Tsai made things even worse.It makes me sad to write this review since I travel to this area often. I was hoping to treat this hotel as my second home while staying in Taipei.I stayed at Grand Mayfull in late January 2019. I got my first room #725 and saw something on the carpet that looked like it was sperm. I was disgusted so I asked to change rooms and they moved me to the room on the 8th floor no problem. My husband and I enjoyed the second room we stayed in and were happy.Feb. 2019, I booked this hotel again for my second trip. As soon as I got in the room I realized, oh no, it was the same room #725 where I saw the sperm on the carpet. I flew in that night from California and the jet lag made me so tired all I wanted to do was relax. I had no energy to change the room at that point so I went to bed. I tried not to worry about what I saw last time but I found myself very uncomfortable. I had a hard time sleeping so I decided to change the room. I was just not to going to be comfortable in that room so I called the front desk at around 5 AM to change rooms. The guy at the front desk I spoke with was very nice about it and said he would have someone bring me the new room key. The Manager on Duty, Edward Tsai, brought me the new room key to me.Edward Tsai was the worst manager I have ever encountered in my life. I will never understand how he got hired to work at a 5-star hotel. When he arrived he asked me why I wanted to change the room. It was very annoying that I had to explain again why I wanted to move to another room. Even more, he asked me if I saw something dirty and what kind of dirty thing was it? I told him about the sperm I saw last month. He went on to ask, is it invisible to the eye or not? (I was born in Taipei, TaiwanI know what he meant, even though he did not say the word: Ghost. I felt insulted and mocked by him.He said: its not normal to change the room at this hour.I said: OK. Forget about this. I do not need to change the room now. I will talk to your manager.He said: I am the manager.I said: So what are we going to do? Change the room or not?He said: OK. Let me show you the new room.He showed me the room and I told him I would take the room.He then said: You know what, you have used two rooms a day that is not right.Are you serious?!!!!!! He actually said that to me!I am still in shock. How could you be so bad to your customer? What do you lose to get me to another room???No one has apologized! The manager was a true nightmare.

Very beautiful hotel with friendly staff. The hotel provided us with a cell phone to use while we were there, a very thoughtful touch. They asked about any food allergies when we ordered from room service, and the in room menu had certain ingredients listed for our information- milk, eggs, wheat etc. The mini bar in our room was completely complimentary and refilled once a day.Im only giving 4 stars because little details were lacking. For example, We ordered coffee and they did not send cream, sugar, or spoons on the tray. We had to call them back and have someone bring it up. Otherwise, it was really perfect. Taipei is a wonderful city, and you dont have to travel far to see some of the most amazing mountain views and waterfalls!

Best hotel I‘ve ever been to. Breakfast buffet is outstanding and offers Asian, as well as western food. The rooms are equipped with everything you need and offer a very warm and welcoming design. Definitely more than you get in any „big chain“-5 Star hotel! Definitely would stay there again.

This review focuses on the restaurant, palette. The buffet in Palette is incredible. Very fresh food, fresh sashimi to choose from, shrimp, crab and more. To finish it off, amazing desert options, tiny delicious pastries of all sorts. Its about $45usd for lunch buffet when I went.

great new hotel. Rooms are clean and hardware is very luxurious and new. Only drawback is the location but otherwise there are many restaurants in this hotel worth trying. Another issue though is the gym. Amenities and size is very limited. Only treadmills and crosstrainers basically.

Really nice hotel, rooms, pool and staff. However, the location was rather far from most tourist sites and not so well connected.Also they list on their facilities web page that they offer yoga classes, which is one of the extra reasons I chose the hotel, but found out once I was there this is not true which was disappointing.

One of the elegant and hightech hotels in Taipei. All are automated or push botton from opening the window curtain to using the toilet. Good stay for business and tourist trips.

Feeling like being watched by the neighbors.3 stars to the cleanness... everything was new and shinny, but... there was a big cockroach at our door step on the second morning...

I came here on essentially two occasions. One for my brother in laws wedding. There is an exceptionally quaint Chapel on the upper floor. Adjacent is an outdoor lawn that is perfect for getting fresh air. The reception catering was excellent along with the entertainment. I have gone to the first floor dimsum restaurant Chiu Yet Fong. I highly recommend their dimsum. Its a little bit pricey but I think it is well worth it for the attention to detail and flavor. If youre not in the mood for dimsum they also carry Peking duck. They add a slight twist to this classic dish by pairing the duck with various sets of flavors. I dont want to ruin the surprise but the mixes in ingredients and toppings are unusual but work. Finally another attraction is their cafe located just right after entering from the main entrance. I was there after dining at another first floor restaurant (Japanese grill). A handful of friends wanted to continue the night so decided to check out the cafe. It very high ceilings which unfortunately makes for a slightly dim atmosphere. Overall the service here was good. The cafe wasnt too crowded so stop by here for a change of scenery.

I only had lunch buffet there, I food is very good, a lot of varieties, seafood and beef are really fresh. The onion ring is the only thing I dont like. They offer freshly fruit juice.

Our stay was absolutely excellent. We had the chance to try both the executive room and the elite room, and both were excellent, but besides the balcony and pool view were nearly identical. Location: First off the location is in a beautiful and affluent part of Taipei and a short walk from many shops and restaurants (but honestly so is nearly every hotel in Taipei). The Grand Mayfull shines in its proximity to a vast riverside park which offers a lovely walk and in my opinion gorgeous views of a nearby bridge, downtown, and of course the river. Its also less than 1km from the nearest MRT station which is exceedingly convenient. The room was immaculate and what you would expect from a 5-star hotel. The room came with complimentary soft drinks, coffee, and tea, as well as some snacks. The bed was nice, though not the soft dream you imagine when you hear the words"Egyptian cotton" whispered in your ear. Above the bed there was also a lovely painting of a faun The bathroom was by far my favorite with a 17,362-function bidet that will do everything for you but your taxes. Admittedly the only place the bidet fell short was its blow dryer function, but I wont fault the hotel for this lack of adequate testing. The shower/bath is incredible and allows for nearly every method of bathing you could think of, from tub to showerhead to waterfall to wooden bench and bucket, you can have it all. The complementary wash gels were quite nice, but the hand lotion smells a bit odd. I suppose thats personal preference. The lighting situation in the room is pretty amazing, and its the small conveniences that make the room. There are light switches everywhere for isolated or filling light for any area of the room. The automatic curtain control at the bedside works beautifully and the blackout curtains are truly that. Other small things in the room that were nice included the slippers, the ability to play music from the TV on a separate overhead speaker in the bathroom, and a desk with ample outlets, as well as an HDMI port with which (I assumeto connect to the TV. One last thing to touch on is the breakfast buffet, which was not only as immaculate as everything else in the hotel, but includes a made-to-order soup station, dim sum cart, fruit and vegetable juicing station, ice cream and sorbet options, baked bread and pastries section, and my absolute favorite, concentrated fruit vinegar which you dilute with water and drink straight. Overall the Grand Mayfull is a gorgeous monster of a hotel which honestly has so many amenities that unless your primary objective is to stay there, you wont have time to explore them all (as I unfortunately did not). For the price I would say this is quite the worthwhile establishment if you care enough to splurge on a 5-star with exceptional service and staff with proficiency in English and Japanese. I will definitely be back in the future.

Beautiful Hotel with one of the best buffets in Taipei. My aunt, brother, and I enjoyed an afternoon meal at the hotel buffet. This was an extravagant affair full of fresh sushi, sashimi, prime rib, grilled Japanese wagyu, and fresh made juice. I drank at least six glasses of their fresh juice and had the most delicious cut of Japanese A5 wagyu. It is worth the trip if you want to enjoy a nice evening in the city.

Came here for a destination wedding of a long time friend, all the way from the USA, and was totally blown away.Exquisite hotel with fine attention to detail, wonderful charm, impeccable service, and world-class food. From my outsider perspective, this hotel delivered on all counts.The decorations for the wedding, plus the wedding banquet room itself was easily one of the best banquet rooms Ive seen with nearly 360° screens that would display pictures of the bride and groom and various visual art. Fun to look at while eating!The food... For me there are few words to describe the food, especially the desserts. Ill keep it simple and share that the food was easily some of the best banquet food Ive had, and the hotel has some world-class chefs and bakers. What I found a bit untraditional was that the cocktail hour had dessert instead of hor doeuvres. This could have been the bride and grooms decision, yet I loved it. Do not skip on the dessert if you are here! Light, delicate, not overtly sugary, and small portions made it a delight to indulge without feeling like it was overdone.This was easily one of the best weddings Ive been to, and the choice of the Grand Mayfull obviously made it so. Fond memories and a great experience. Would love to come back one day!

Easily one of the most luxurious hotel around Taipei. Their Japanese food and Cantonese food are awesome! Definitely try them out. I also heard that their buffet is quite amazing for their unlimited rib eye steak 😍😍

Location is not very close to main spot of Taipei but with this price is fine.Room is quite new and big, everything is comfortable and room service are very good.Only thing I have to complain is breakfast is not much change ( we stay 4 daysand people who work there seems not so happy or welcome you to order any food.Maybe the owner have to pay more salary or give more training.

Went for the buffet. Would recommend to anybody with a deep wallet. The fish was ridiculously fresh and the food was delicious, but it cost 70 dollars US per person.

Was here for a wedding and I enjoyed every bit of it from the decor down to the food. The hall wasnt over the top and the table place settings were beautiful. Food was above your average wedding banquet food. Though the light show was a bit… weird and unnecessary

Beautiful hotel. Excellent service. Amazing and grand architecture and decoration throughout the hotel and in the room. Youll feel like royalty in this hotel. My only complaint is the breakfast buffet is expensive and relatively poor, like high-end cafeteria food, compared to the rest of the hotel.

We had thanksgiving dinner at their hotel, they have a lot of varieties. Service was good, it was not too many people. The price is not cheap but its worth it as the selection of food was decent.

Fresh juice is the bester, however, some of food have been Set a while that the tested was bad ,such us dumplings, pancakes,bacon ...., The small portion may instead the big portion, also the customer services have to improve the empty plates has on table a while, too.
