Grand Hotel TIFFI in Iława

Great location, very nice service, and very good standard of rooms. However, the I had impression that the hole place needs an update (tefreshmentin terms of design of interiors to truly be considered a five star hotel. Also, I found it a bit sad that the restaurant and the bar close at 11 pm and the SPA and the swimming pool at 9 pm.

Nice service, very good, fresh food, good SPA. But AC wasnt working during a hotest weekend and despite several complaints... That was really shame guys.

Plus: Kid indoor park and personnel; No mosquitos (in July!); Spacious rooms; Good kid menu — Minus: Breakfast - limited choice ; Swimming pool - small and dark, water with chlorine; Service average; Restaurant frustratingly expensive; Hotel build in 2012 but design feels mid-90s; Fridge in our room didn’t cool ; Too small tea cups (150ml?); too cold in the lobby and restaurant; Ilawa is not pretty; The lake is murky

Amazing experience, the hotel was super clean. Food was tasty and the bar was also quite vibey. Also got to rent a boat and this was simply amazing. Highly recommend, great view, quiet and clean!

Spent 5 days in this hotel. It was a lovely 5 days stay with time passing like a charm. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Most of them spoke English. Food is great. I am vegetarian and staff special care to make me nice meal in case I was not happy with option in the buffet. Would suggest anyone going there to take option with lunch included.The place has a huge space for small kids to play. There was some activity for kids in the indoor playground most of the time. Nearby there is a small public beach with a very nicely done walking streaks. Good location. Had visited this place 4 years back in Winter was not as much impressed as this visit in summerA few things which hotel can do make it even better - Some animation during holiday season will go a long way in keeping thing much more lively. For slightly older kids something is missing. SPA area if it had more activity/pool it will make this place perfectPlanning to visit it next summer :)

Quite ok with some minor drawbacks. Just remember, a 5 star hotel refers to equipment not to the quality according to the law. Big points: location, cleanliness, stylish ambience,. Minus points: loundness (many toddlers), reception does not always does what has been said, some minor setbacks (S dressing gown supplied for a XL man :), bedding not supplied for extra bed although paid - fixed after a phone call). Neutral: quisine - quite ok, but some dishes could be a bit improved as well as coffee.

The hotel is great. Everything was clean and new. Food was delicious although probably not ideal for vegetarians. I recommend the fish.. any fish. Theyre really fresh. Staff was ok.Not a 5 🌟 hotel staff, but decent. Let me give you an example, a person gets accidentally hit by someone at the pool. They probably need ice. Lifeguard just laughs it off. Ok, moving on the the SPA receptionist, she feels sorry, but they dont have ice. Anyone thats been to a nice hotel in the US knows how this would be handled.There a separate pool for the kids, which is nice, but please keep the kids there. How about no kids in the jacuzzi? Nobodys keeping an eye on in.Overall, quite nice, but if youre traveling just with your partner you might be overwhelmed by kids everywhere and zero control over them.

Food is poor, not much choice, no fruits at all on dinner. For breakfast fruits are wasted. One day dinner served from restaurant because of not so many people. Kids pool was not available for one day because hotel service did not clean it properly and did not want to do it during night hours. Do not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially for families with kids.

Unfortunately this hotel is not worth a recommendation. Comparing to other hotels in same price category this one is very poor. Food was bad quality, sometimes fruits were not fresh or no fruits at all. Pool for kids was closed one day which was very sad and we did not know what to do with our kid at evening because kinder garden is closed at 18

5 stars? For what? Risking guests lives ?! Ill never come here again! Yesterday I strange man came and destroyed the whole reception, was throwing things at the receptionist and there was nobody to help her! Where is the security??? This girl was all alone, he could have killed her and not only her. Anybody can walk in to that hotel with anything .. I was scared of my life. He could have attacked someone with a knife or who knows what else. I do not recommend that hotel! The owner doesnt care about his workers safety so for sure he doesnt care about his guests as well..

I been there for two nights and I liked it here. Rooms were good and have free wifi. Hotel has playing area for kids including some events. Due to the winters they didnt have water sports. They spa and pool was good. Food was decent not so bad. Walk around the lake is nice which takes 40 one way. It is good for weekend getaway.

Large modern hotel with a nice enough design but a slight conference-hotel feel. Looked to me like its not run with as much attention-to-detail as youd expect for a supposed 5-star hotel. Bar area probably good for a drink at night. Coffee not terrible.
