A 5-minute walk from both a metro stop and the historic Old Town Square, this elegant hotel is also 15 minutes' on foot from the landmark Charles Bridge. The refined rooms offer minibars, free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs, plus tea and coffeemakers. Upgraded rooms offer Old Town views, and some add sitting areas and Nespresso machines, as well as free welcome drinks and public transport travel cards. Suites add sofabeds; some have living rooms, iMac computers and terraces.A breakfast buffet is included. There's an upscale restaurant, along with a warmly decorated cafe/bar and an opulent Neo-Baroque ballroom.
Great place to stay everything was great service 5 stars.. walking distance to everything
AMAZING hotel and exceptional hospitality from all the staff. Lucie at the breakfast was excellent, active, similing, and helpful. Also at the reception, feont desk managers, Andrej and David were very accomodating and welcoming. The location of the hotel is also spot on, close to everythig and has access to transportation, walking distance to the train, the old town squre , luxury shops. Wonderful hotel. I highly recommend it.
We spent a considerable amount of time looking up hotels for our weekend visit to PragueEventually we decided on Grand Hotel Bohemia. We wanted 5 star service with a great locationThe location of the hotel was superb, just inside the Old TownWe booked direct with the hotel as we found that offered the best rateI’d give the room 7/10Service 10/10Breakfast 9/10View from the room 10/10Location 9/10Value for money 7/10
Rooms are bit old but you cannot find a better place than here. Overall I would say this is the best value for money.
This hotel is wonderful one of my favourites! My husband and I are currently staying here for our honeymoon while we visit Prague. I’m blown away by the property, location and care of everyone that works here. They genuinely care about their guests. We’re so thankful we decided to stay at this hotel. Thank you, from two very happy guests.
Real nice place but the price for value maybe isnt justified. Love the bar and the breakfast in the basement was awesome.
Great location, clean, good service, good breakfast, nice bathroom but room a little small.
I did not stay there but enjoyed the Mozart & Dinner program at the Bocaccio Ballroom - which was a wonderful event and a great evening. Something not to be missed!
The hotel is really good and recommended. The rooms are very clean and the service is great. The location of the hotel is good, 2 minutes from the republic square and 5 mintes from the old town square.
Make sure to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any stay. This web site will compare countless booking websites and typically will have prices much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the best in this area. Ive been coming here for a very long time. If you decide to stay here you wont be let down.Had an excellent stay here - staff very friendly and courteous, rooms are slightly on the old-fashioned side but well designed, nice and quiet. We also utilised the Massage service which was excellent.
This is a wonderful hotel with an excellent staff there to help the guests with any of their needs. The concierge Jan was particularly resourceful. Next time I go to Prague this is the hotel I will stay in again. Also worth mentioning, the breakfast there is pretty good. They will make you eggs to order and have gourmet coffee
There are many things wrong with this hotel. The first one is that it is not a 5 star hotel. 3/4 at most.Second, the facilities are quite poor (doesn’t have a gym, bedsheets broken, lack of details, funny smell all around, etc).Breakfast is of low quality and poor choice. If you are looking for a good experience don’t book this hotel. If what you want it’s an OK hotel in the center, then it may work for you.
Excellent location. Courteous and helpful staff. Super Service.
Excellent service and location. And delicious and varied breakfast included.
We really enjoyed our four nights here at the Grand Hotel Bohemia. The location and service were excellent, the room was lovely, and the breakfast was great too. (In addition to a wonderful buffet, they offer a terrific a la carte menu with omelets etc that is included with the breakfast). We will stay here again if we are able to return to this beautiful city of Prague!
The first time we stayed here, it was amazing. However the second time, although we booked a superior double room, we got a single room. Complained that it was not what we booked and they said there were no available rooms. Saying that we cancel the booking, suddenly they had a superior double room!! Really disappointed with the service and attitude!!
My daughter and myself stayed here for 5 days. What a stunning hotel! The staff was excellent, room was lovely and the best was the location. I turned 60 during our stay and was surprised by dining room staff singing for me with a glass of sparkling wine. They made my stay truly special. We attended the Mozart dinner and it was really a highlight of our trip. I would really recommend this gem of a hotel.
My favorite Hotel! Wonderful staff, comfortable rooms.
The Staff was great and they spoke English. The hotel is located in the middle of everything. Walk out the front and the mall is a block away on your right and the square is two (2blocks on your left. The buffet breakfast was really good and you can order from the menu. The Queen bed were two twins side by side. Overall not bad at all. My Spouse and I are planning our return trip.
Had an excellent stay here - staff very friendly and courteous, rooms are slightly on the old-fashioned side but well designed, nice and quiet. We also utilised the Massage service which was excellent.
Loved the hotel! Great location, few minutes walk from the center. Room was spacious and very clean.
This hotel is just customer unfriendly. Because of the current situation and restrictions we are not able to come to prague on the weekend we booked, but at a later date. Our first request for a refund has been denied - thats absolutely ok and understandable. But they just dont want to offer a single other solution. They even refuse a simple postponement of our stay, although this would not mean any disadvantage for the hotel.Of course its their right, but in my eyes that stubbornness is bad customer service.
Nice place very clean but they pretend to wearing the mask but some they dont have about the breakfast says its buffet I didnt see any fruits in the morning and some food in a small corner about the bar says last order is 10 pm a clock but 21:30 the guy he refused to make a cocktail and before 10 pm a clock kick out from bar because its close I understand its not allowed to serving but its not nice to kick you out like a animal
Superb hotel located in the heart of the Old Town. A very comfortable and welcoming property with excellent furnishing and comfort throughout. It is very close to many wonderful shops. The staff are very professional and welcoming. No need for transport if you are staying here. You can walk everywhere very easily
Very lovely and professional staff, always very polite and nothing was ever too much hassleGreat location - walking distance to every attractionBreakfast was amazingClean and big room, with very comfortable bedPerfect honeymoon, highly recommend hotel!!!
The hotel situated very central close to everything. Easy access with the public transport. Parking is an issue even though the hotel has the facilities but they use a driver to park your car.
Warm and comfortable room, great shower. Breakfast was enjoyable and very efficient staff. Ideally located for walking to all the attractions Prague has to offer.
I loved this Hotel. A great location in the old town of Prague.. the rooms were so clean and comfortable and the staff in the dining room for breakfast under the manager ( ludmilawere so helpful and the breakfast was excellent...The Hotel bar closed at 11pm which I thought was a bit early... overall this Hotel is excellent and I would love to return sometime.
five nights, great stay. Amazing service, very friendly staff. Prague is one of the most beautiful and best cities in all of Europe highly recommend visiting.
It is a nice place to stay for few nights. The service is cordial and the rooms are ok. You can have a good breakfast. It is an old hotel, but in very good conditions. The Ballroom is a place you must visit and take a picture. The best is the location. Near all tourist attractions, shopping streets and mall. There is no fitness centre, but you can find some in the region. They have a partnership with a massage house.
We had a great time in Bohemia Hotel. the service was excellent and helpful in every request we had. The room is big and clean. the location is amazing, close to everything. the food is very good, we are vegan, and they made for us a special dish.we definitely recommend
Very nice hotel, with a convenient location in the old part of the city with all the main attractions in walking distance.Helpful and friendly staff. For sure not the last time Ill be here for a long weekend 😁👍
A boutique hotel in a central location but on a side street ... this is an advantage. The hotel is very clean, the staff is kind, the rooms are nice and clean. I must mention the breakfast ... The meal is modest without as much variety as the Israelis like, but the staff is amazing right to help with any question, you can order hot drinks and all kinds of eggs like in a restaurant. I must mention Ludmila and Adela, they do above and beyond to please the guests ... personal thanks to each of you ... I will definitely return to this hotel
We are enjoying our stay very much. They were quick to accommodate a last minute reservation and the hotel staff has been professional and very friendly.
We stayed at the hotel back in the winter of 2018. The Castle Suite was beautiful, spacious and offered a wonderful view over the roofs of the Old Town. The breakfast had everything we wanted and on the last day, when we were leaving very early, the hotel prepared breakfast boxes for us. Very nice gesture! The location is unbeatable, just a few steps to the Old Town Square and Palladium shopping mall.Definitely recommended and would love to come back!
One of the best places in Prague. Excellent service ( Special offer for our honeymoon)Nothing complaints to that house!Thank you for a great service.. we will come back !
Our 3nights stay here was exceptional. Very reasonably priced for a 5star hotel. Neat, beautiful & classy rooms with super comfortable beds. Very friendly, helpful & professional Staff. Excellent breakfast spread. Being very near to old town square & Charles bridge, Location is just perfect.Best stay in Europe. No complaints, had a pleasant & relaxing stay.
The hotel is located in the old city of Prague, very practical. We arrived with a dog (10 euros per dayand a 7 months baby. I didnt bring a baby carrier, big mistake. The staff was absolutely fantastic and nice, the amazing ball room is great for dinners and drinks (weekends at 18h). The hotel dont have a parking but a driver who takes your car to a parking space and bring it back when you need, not so comfortable and expensive (30 euros per day). The room was very nice, the bed is huge and very comfortable. The bathroom is very small though.
This classic hotel is very clean, the staff is really nice and friendly, the beds are super comfortable! It is located very close to the city center but you can still reach it by car. They have a parking service which seems expensive but it is actually not, as parking in the city center is very expensive everywhere. The room service is very good they leave chocolate and even a note with the current weather forecast.Breakfasts is good, too. The only thing they should add is things for allergic people, like soy milk or gluten free bread. We stayed for three nights and were really happy with it. We would definitely come back anytime.
Great staff. Especially the Manager who greeted us at the time of checkin. Very helpful and polite. Rooms are clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in centre of old Prague.
Very nice hotel. Good location. The public areas are a bit dated but the room was recently remodeled. The terrace room was worth the extra money. Breakfast was very good but it sometimes took 2-3 times of asking to get tea/coffee. The maitre de/mgr was very friendly always with a smile on her face.
We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. We stayed for three nights and it was great from all aspects. Room was so clean and nicely decorated, breakfast was great where they provide a buffet and several menu selection, and staff was very friendly. It’s also worth adding the location is very convenient.
The hotel is well situated with everything accessible right on the doorstep. The main square is only a five minute walk away. The hotel itself is wonderful, classy and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. If I come back to Prague I wont hesitate to stay here again.
Spent two nights at this hotel and had a great experience. The staff was lovely (we received a hand written happy birthday note in our native language with a small bottle of champagne on my friends birthdayand the location is super central. Rooms are nice as well, and the breakfast is really good. Overall really good value for money.
Comfortable room with bathtub. Wonderful breakfast buffet included. The staff was the best! So friendly and helpful. They arranged our airport transportation and reserved tours for us. We were especially delighted to receive a lovely slice of cake, singing, and complimentary champagne on my birthday! A perfect vacation and best hotel experience ever!
The staff here is superb, except for our housekeeper who would knock once and then open the door .02 seconds later. Everyone else went out of the way to exceed expectations. The front desk even noticed it was my GF’s birthday and surprised her with a small cake at breakfast! Absolutely top marks for the front desk and meal service staff. The room was extremely comfortable with cold air conditioning, good water pressure, and a gigantic bed with soft pillows. The toilet tissue was rather abrasive, though. We had a room on the 4th floor away from the street and it was absolutely silent except for the occasional guest next door coming or going. The room had double windows to really keep the noise down.Breakfast offered an outstanding variety of items to suit most tastes and fresh coffee was served upon request by the highly attentive and well dressed staff. The hotel is situated within short walking distance of several nice interesting sites, including the powder tower, and the tram stop is about 3 minutes away on foot. The nearest B train stop is about 7 minutes away.I’d definitely stay here again.
Excellent beds and pillows. Service amazing...we were lucky to be upgraded and had an awesome time. The breakfast was wonderful as was the location. The girls at the front desk were very helpful with suggestions for things to do and also found a great tour for the day we wanted to be guided around. We spent 4 nights here and Prague became one of our favourite cities visited on a long euro trip, in part due to this hotel :)
Very nice and clean rooms. Very old area of town near the Christmas markets. People at front desk were always helpful and very pleasant and spoke English. (Which was a big+Upscale experience all the way! I would definitely go back. Food at restraunt was always delicious.
The absolute best ambiance of any hotel Ive visited. The staff is professional and friendly. The accommodations are first rate. The bed and pillows divine. We stayed in the terraced suite. Definitely worth the upgrade. The hotel is situated in the middle of everything. We walked everywhere without hesitation. The included breakfast was robust, with a buffet and menu items as well. We were given an excellent tour of this historic hotel and the Grand Ballroom. I cannot think of a thing I would change...
Great location, excellent staff!I realized when I checked in that I forgot my passport in Dresden! The hotel desk staff quickly offered to call my last hotel and verify if they had it, they reassured me as I waited, offered me some water and an apple and told me they would call my room as soon as they got an answer, I waited in the lobby as I knew I wouldnt be able to relax until I knew my passport was safe! They quickly got an answer and all was well. The room was perfect for me, a spacious bathroom with a nice shower and bathtub, a tea station and lots of pillows on the bed. The breakfast was included in my rate, they had a good selection of breads, spreads, cereal, yogurt and fruit and also some hot items (waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage). Lots of coffee, tea, milk and juice. Overall a lovely place to stay within a reasonable walking distance to many sites. Get a map while in Prague as the streets are narrow and GPS can easily get messed up!
