Grand Café in Beirut

We wanted to enjoy a Lebanese "brunch" with a view of the sea, so we came here. Great food and service. Ive been here before and service can be bad sometimes, so it really depends who serves you. The food was good, we enjoyed the view as well. O aide it can be stuffy as many are smoking shisha inside and outside, fyi.

I strongly discourage visiting this cafe because of the terrible service and employees

Place is dirty. Food is Unpleasant , unfresh and costly.Some dishes were smelling charcoal.With this price can get a better food and sea view.

Great view and seating place. Higher price point but well worth it. Strongly recommended.

good place ,there are spacing between table(due to corona,they have indoor and outdoor seats , good view for beach ,seai ordered cappuccino and its not perfect taste , its expensive ,the service is not good as expectation,as well the restaurant is good but not pertect

Grand Cafe is a good place to have lunch or dinner with a sea view of Ramlet el baida. The ambience of the place is really awesome and you can enjoy the sunset here. If you love pizza, you must try their alfredo pizza prepared in wood hoven. The chicken with the alfredo sauce on top are so delicious! Also, chicken escalope was super tasty. Try their hookah, it is so good.

I like it my kids love it because it has a nice playground and also it has a gaming Center and also they have a big trampoline placed

Grand caffe is a high end restaurant, but its really not logical that a small portion of carrots, tormos and nuts add up to 24 thousand. I understand that water and soda may be expensive like any other high end restaurant, but to order nuts, carrots and tormos and be billed for 24000 ll is unacceptable.Other wise the food was not bad, same for the shisha.

If someone remembers during the 70s the famous bar at the St George hotel and what was it known for , Grand Cafe is somehow the replacement for these activities

The best view, however, average taste, high prices and you always smell the sewage outside!!

SCAM ARTISTS. Good views and all, food is just okay, but they totally ripped us off!! They charged $40 for two plates of nuts and some carrots THAT WE DID NOT ORDER, and $70 for a plate of FRUITS without telling us.. absolutely ridiculous. This business needs to be shut down

Very overpriced, will give your table Termos and Nuts and water without being asked to and will charge for them ofcourse and they are expensive.

Worst service ever! Very overpriced and offers u stuff u didnt even ask for, while makimg u pay for them in really high amounts... Come here if u like to pay a fortune for a drink.

Perfect view and nice food

one of top and best Cafe in all Lebanon. very famous in brand , in style , in dining , shisha...etc almost everything is great about it .its been always a relief and pleasure to fo every once and a while. prices are not cheap but u r getting the highest quality,services,valet parking . very much recommended

The view is great but i hoped to find good quality gum mint shisha for the price, it was like everywhere else though. They did change the shisha when i didnt like it.

BEST RESTURANT IN BERUIT AT BEACH ALRAMLLA.. we have a dinner here so delcious food and good staff on Saturday 4-5-2019- inform of us that beach we had been swimming with my family in 2014 ..

its filled with people smoking shisha . i wouldnt recommend if the weather is cloudy or rainy since they close the outdoor part and it gets really gloomy in there . i wouldnt recommend taking children since passive smoking is dangerous . The food is okay , not the best ,the coffee also and other drinks . The Decor is mediocre as well as the setting and furniture . The waiters are friendly but its more like a casual place . The only thing that is entirely positive is the view .

We went there for the view. It has amazing panoramic views of the Mediterranean sea and the Ramleh Bayda sand beach. We went there for breakfast. The food and price were average. The five stars are for the view.

Perfectly located next to the beach giving you a splendid view while having a meal or shisha. The place is super clean and the food is amazing. The staff are friendly, and offer quick and great service.

Great Atmosphere with lovely setup on the sea front. Watching Airplanes coming into the Airport is a pleasant experience.They offer Valet parking.

Newly renovated resto--cafe with sea view and spacious outdoors seating highly recommended when the weather is pleasant, good service. You enjoy nice music while dining or having a drink and a shisha.The only disadvantage is that its over-priced, approximately a shisha and a drink/dessert can cost you $25.

On the seaside road , very near to rouche rocks. I liked the view (see photos). The staff were polite. Clean bathrooms.Food was good.i had shrimp avocado salad..the shrimp needed to be a bit more cooked but it was delicious in all cases. The halawet gebn(lebanese desertwas tasty but needed a little more syrup to be perfect. These are totally personal taste prefrences..nothing to discredit the place.I visited on a saturday for lunch( in julyand I liked that it was lively with people but not crammed and noisy like other place .Lovely place... would definitely go again.

It was a great experience but too pricy! 500k for 3 familys. And all we ordered were appetizers.

Beautiful view but expensive (20k for hokkah, 5k for teaand very pretentious wait staff who wants to kick you out as soon as you finish your food.... Beautiful looking people tho haha

I didnt order anything but they still get 5 stars. My wife lost her phone shortly before arriving to the cafe and the gentlemen working there were incredibly helpful in helping contact the right people.

Beautiful place looking at the sea . Quite and romantic. Good service. They provide car parking service. Recommend to order drinks . Little expensive but worth every cent you spend.

Everything is great there except for the price. It always keeps increasing. Not a place you would go often but a place where you need a financial plan ahead of time.

Very nice and chic place, its nothing special but has a traditional arabic ambiance to it. The staff are friendly and they offer good shisha. The outdoor seating area has a great view.

The place is calm , the view is wonderful , the service is good , but servers are so judgmental when they dont get the tip that they wish...... I paid 15$ tips and it was not satisfying.

They just ripped of my wife and her colleagues! Be careful, they charge you for things that you never asked for, even if you don t touch anything; they just put it on the table! Never accept any suggestion of the waiters, they will try to sell you one banana and some pieces of fruit for $25.... jajajaja! Looks like the owner is one of this classical middle eastern ignorant and arrogant persons, who thinks that his place is the best palace in the world, and can rip people off without getting punished. AN INSULT IN ALL THE SENSE OF THE WORD! Thank god i was not there to argue with this monkey!
