Enjoyed the tour bus experience. Was able to get some amazing pictures.
La verdad, esperabamos ver algo, pero solo ruido, incomodidad, la audiodescripcion no se entiende, para persona de 1,8 metros No Recomendable, te dejas las rodillas entre baches y golpes, sinceramente creo que es una ESTAFA.
Great tour, easy path. Leaned some things about the city. Nice guide.
Waiting time of over an hour. The train therefore completely overcrowded. The audio guide was out of order. The advertised app does not exist. Never again.
No recomiendo.
Dont be a tourist bus driver if you hate tourists. Go get another job. Unpleasant experience from start to finish.Staff are rude, verging on aggressive. The audio was broken, if you found audio that worked it was not informative. We werent allowed on the hop on hop off service as we didnt have the right to ticket and instead of trying to help the driver just drove off and left us stranded. Tried to then charge us more for getting back on the bus.Just wander around the city and eat tapas instead.
I went to Granada last week and tried to be on board the city tour bus on 27th of December, 2019 using my Granada card.Basically, a person owns the card can be guaranteed one-time city tour bus ticket excluding repeated hop-on & hop-off service. We went to Nueva plaza and requested the one-time bus ticket. A person in red jacket issued a ticket for us and teared off a part of the ticket right away as a proof of the one-time boarding.Afterwards, we were in que at Nueva plaza for the city tour bus for a moment and chaged our mind to use our one-time ticket from another station, and not the Nueva plaza. The man in red jacket gradly accepted our request and wrote something down to our ticket to enable us to use the ticket from another station. The memo looks like “error, pendiente cantear ....”.We moved to observatory of St Nicolas on our own and then walked up some inclines to observatory of St Christobal for about 20 minutes which is one of the stations for city tour bus.We waited more passing by 2 city tour buses due to other passengers in front of us. And finally just about to get on board the bus. But another guy in red jacket blocked us and said our ticket is already invalid pointing out the teared part. I explained that it was our first ride. But he just misunderstood that we were trying to use the “invalid” card again. Also i told him several times that he should look into the memo that his colleague left on our ticket prooving our first ride and call his colleague. But he ignored us at all and left us behind the observatory. The day was our last day in Granada and we were failed to enjoy our right to use the city tour bus and spent many times thanks to him. He did not listen to his passenger and made us people who are cheating in front of many other passengers. He should pretend to look into the memo and communicate with his colleague at least but he did not. I think it was pretty easy for them to talk to each other using their wireless set.It was very unpleasant situation in Spain.
Unfortunately, no one gave us any headphones to use on todays trip or the wifi password which meant that the "tour" wasnt really that but rather a trip around the city. We still got to see some nice things...we just didnt know what we were looking at. The staff didnt seem too concerned either when I told them that our entire car didnt have headphone. The city isnt that big, I would recommend a walking tour instead.
A lot of the route wasnt very interesting. We were squashed in. The driver was impatient with people trying to board. It was included as part of the Granada card, but I still wish I hadnt bothered.
If you wanna waste an hour of your day waiting for the bus and being told to wait for the next one this bus is the one for you. There was clearly enough space on the bus too.
The tour is poorly organised, they have two queues and do not manage who goes on a train first. Youll pay extra € 1.5 for each pair of headphones... so it costs €9.5, not €8 as advertised. Finally, their staff is rude.
Staff is rude, aggressive and deceiving towards tourists from outside of Spain. If there is at least two of you the Taxi would be a better choice.
Poorest service I have never expirenced
Extremely hard to follow, only come every 20 minutes and is typically full so you waste a lot of time standing around waiting for the next tram. The map that tells you where the stops are is really hard to read and we spent more time looking for the bus stops rather than seeing the sights around the area. The staff was rude and dismissive and while we were speaking to them they would get in the tram and drive away. Waste of money and a huge waste of time. There were multiple occasions where people were seated in 2s and we were still told there was no room for us. Extremely dissapointed that seeing Granada was so difficult, due to this service.
Its a good service. But I had a bus driver screaming at me in Spanish and gesticulating for a couple of minutes because I misunderstood his instructions and boarded the bus before showing the ticket. Not a pleasant experience and the screaming was uncalled for.Local buses run from the same stops, are more frequent and cost only €1.30. I recommend that instead.
Fine as transport to get around but they drive fast which means you cannot site see, plus the ride is not very comfortable - cheap vinyl seats and many of the roads are rough. You spend more time stopped at waiting points than you do travelling - if they slowed down at interesting points it would be a massive improvement
If you want to see all of granada take this tour its cost about 8 euro and audio guides for 1.5 euro
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! We were told trams come every 20 minutes. We waited 1 hour during a non-busy time and no tram came to the stop. Many other people came for the tram, but left before we did. City buses much more reliable.
Our travel to Spain 2019 was filled with adventure, great food & wine, and history.Granada was the first place where rather than a hop-on-hop-off bus, we engaged a train that takes you all around this most gorgeous city.We took a photo at the stop by The Alhambra Hotel, where we had lunch after our visit to The Alhambra. The service is excellent, providing visitors with an opportunity to see spots of interest to then visit at leisure.Highly recommend!
The Tourist train ist very full. A train stops every 20 Minutes. Most of the Trains are over filled i dont recommended it
Terrible, this is a waste of money. Pure advertisement shuttle around the city that feels like its breaking down every 5 seconds. The audio guide is the not informative and the audio in particular is awful. Also, very packed making it almost impossible to get back on. Wish I read reviews before being convinced to get on
Nice tour, but the company really needs to invest into the maintenance of the trains and to enhance the sync and the quality of the guidance
We had a good little tram tour on a rainy day in Granada. I do not see where all these complaints come from (especially since most come from people with very few other reviews!). The ticket sales people were friendly and the tour was as expected. Just like any little tram or train tour ( we take them frequently in Aix-en-Provence, Madrid, and other placesit gave us a good over view of the city. The complaints about losing a ticket are entirely without merit since both the ticket office and the sales people clearly say keep your ticket to re-board the train. As for access for people with disabilities, well, most or Europe does not attend to attending to the differently disabled. The cobblestone streets and curbs make access difficult even for the able-bodied. It is wholeheartedly inappropriate to bash the tram tour for not accomodating when the region as a whole is not accommodating to the disabled. I would use this and any other hop-on hop-off little train tour to get an overview of a city. This operator was as good, as safe, and as friendly as can be expected in a tourist-intensive location. I can expecially say that the ticket sales people were friendly and made a great effort to make for a great tour. The drivers at the hop-on sites were quick and friendly and if you pay attention, the little tram went electric when it was in the protected regions of the town—who could ask for more!?
I thought the train was fine. Made it easy to see everything in one day. You get what you pay for. The audio sometimes didn’t work but I just had to wiggle the headphones a bit. It gave an overview of history, but did include dates which I thought was great. The trains only ran for half a day because of troubles with the city but what I had experienced was decent. But I would definitely not recommend to be used during peak tourist season (August).
Only thing good for it is free wifi which I am using to write this review while waiting, way longer than necessary, non-existent customers in stop points. Its very very bumpy (you might crack a few tooth if you dont pay attention.)It says 15-20 minutes per tour but make it 30-45.There are no headphones provided and in nowhere I found a warning to bring one. (so no voice guide for me)Staff is a little rude.If I paid I would be very disappointed luckily it came with granada card but still its a waste of time.
THEY STEAL OUR MONEY, dont go ! They dont pay back even if we wait more than 2 hours to see a full train.... Impossible to come in the train and nobody respect the Line (included the drivers), even if I was with disabled personns. Scandalous.
If I could put 0 star, Ill do it because 1 star is clearly too much for that thing. We were with a group of disabled persons, who have difficulties to stand. We wait for 3 trains, that is to say 1h30 of waiting. The first was full. Ok. The second, full. For the third, we were the first at the beginning of the line, and the driver made us wait to let pass the other tourists who were behind us to go on the train. There was enough places for us if he would have respected the order of the queue.. When we tried to explain our situation and ask for explanations, the "kind" driver ignored us, didnt listen to us and said, I quote, "if youre not happy, you should have rent a limo ! " Beautiful welcome... We dont know if we will succeed to take this train, anyway they stole 54€ from us, because they wont pay us back. Intolerable. Disgusting. They are thiefs.
Very poor customer care. I lost my tickets one hour after I booked it which an incident that could happen with any tourist. They left me in Albaizain eventhough the driver recognized me without offering a solution or at least returning me to my original location. This company does not have any morals or respect to customers.
Whatever you do, dont sign up for this scam. The drivers are unbelievably rude and unhelpful. Worst experience of my life, which includes three years in a Turkish prison.
The fact that I cant give this review zero stars shows the service we were given. After waiting outside in the freezing cold from 20:45 until 21:15 and realising the night bus wasnt in fact late; it just wasnt running. This wasnt updated on the real time app and with no one answering the phone number provided - simply, dont waste your money. We can recommend a nice restaurant to have a beer and tapas or tea at, instead.
Dont waste your time and money. The service is infrequent and it is not "hop-on hop-off as described as people stay on it for the entire lap so if you do make the mistake to get off you wont be able to get back on. We waited over an hour to get on at the beginning. During the trip you are inundated with toxic diesel fumes leaving you with a sore throat and eyes not to mention being squashed into a row of seats as well as having your knees rammed into the ones ahead. The audio would be informative but the driver keeps cutting in over the tour information so you miss out on details that may have been interesting. Honestly this is one of the worst tours of a city I have ever been on-avoid at all costs. The walking tour, Segway tour and cycle tours are much better and more enjoyable alternatives
Cheap, but still not worth it. Just get on the local buses. The trains are generally all full. Many stops have no shade, and if you dont queue strictly at them the driver berates you for it rudely. One driver ignored us running towards him as he was just about to drive away. Every 20mins is more like every 30/40 mins.
Great idea and cheap and friendly staff
Not a very good way of exploring the City. But the flexibility to get off at any stop and get in was cool way to go different places, especially if you dont have much time.
Initially I was very disappointed with the size and height of the train but when you actually go through the tiny narrow streets it makes sense! it was very basic [hard seats - tightly packed ] but you got to see a lot of Granada that you wouldnt see otherwise as it is very steep to walk - the streets are cobbled so it is a very bumpy ride!
Brutal ride on the stone roads. Its not a train, its a cheap wagon. Shake and rattle for over an hour, if you board after eating good luck keeping it down. Route is good, would be excellent on a bus with good suspension. Overall this one is definately a fail.
Dont bother. Its a waste of money. Theres no way youll hop on easily. We waited for an hour to get on outside the Alhambra. On the way into town, we heard irate customers having the same problem as they too were unable to get on the bus and had been waiting a long time. If you cant walk, take a taxi. This is simply not worth the time or money.
The best way to loose your time No respect for the customer !! Bullshit company the train has to pass every 20 minutes to the train stop and we have to wait for 55 minutes and they are not able after this to give audio guide free ... Granada beauty deserves better company to let tourist enjoying the city .Shame on Granada city tourPs: they say they have a mecanic issue on one of their train but like you can read on the others advices its always the same but you can see the driver at every stop chatting 5 minutes with their colleagues great
Its not worth the money. Hop on - hop off just doesnt work. Buses come less often than the advertised 20 min and they are often full. If you get off the bus, be prepared to wait long or five another means of transport home.
