Central Park, 10/777 Hay St, Perth WA 6000, Australia, Perth
Coffee, craft beer and pub classics served in a casual, light-filled space with leafy park views.
Went there last night, I got charged $5 for soda water (not bottledas I was the designated driver. On top of that, I asked for Tabasco sauce and because they dont have Tabasco, they wanted to charge me $2 for just chilli. I understand that inflation is high but this is over the top. Never again.BTW the chicken burger was very very average with the smallest piece of chicken.
Great food and drinks staff a little slow especially making cocktails and it wasnt ever busy
Good cocktails here. A good location for a group to go for drinks, although we were a bit squished with 10 people.
Had dinner on Friday and told nearly half the menu was unavailable. Ordered the Cheeseburger which was fine but the chips were drowned in salt making most inedible. And then told last call was 8:30pm on a Friday night which seems odd for one of the City’s main bars.
Was very busy when I rocked up, but managed to get a table still. Decent selection of beer and wine. Spirits and cocktails range was very good. Drinks are at the high end of pricing. Only had something small to eat which was ok. Service was excellent didnt have to wait long at the bar. Plenty of toilets and a few TV screens to watch. Heaps of windows to the outside world for people watching. Overall experience was great, will go back again for sure.
Had a team lunch today, group of 13. I made last minute change of seating arrangement and Dylan was kind enough to accommodate the request. Food was delicious and my team had great experience. I had fish and chips and it has nice crispy batter. Thai salad was also another favorite on our table. Will be coming back for sure!
I went to Gramercy Bar on 18th of July 2022 before 12:00.I ordered 2 whisky -Yamazaki 12 and Springbank 15 years-Even they don’t have Glencairn whisky glass. And I started nosing and tasting.I felt both similar smell like bowmore character. And Finally thought “these whisky are fake one”. I left all my whiskies.Recently some fake whisky found in China. I have worried about coming through in Australia market.I am so warning you ~ do not order single malt whiskies this bar. After I went out this bar~I thought I will be never come back anymore in my life~I am drinking single malt whiskies many years and everyday.I have in deep understanding and knowledge about whiskies.
As a licenced bar manager myself..... Rude staff and poor quality drinks. Very disappointing service.Ordered a cocktail that didnt even half fill the glass and was told tough luck by the staff when queried.
A good spot for a bite and a drink after work
I had the thai chicken salad. Superb
Went for a Friday lunch with work friends. No table service (no issue with that), orders taken at the bar. Despite been told there was a 30min wait for food (which I wasn’t surprised by how busy they werefood came out in 20min and was delicious!I had the Steak Burger with chips. Steak was cooked to perfection if you like your meat rare. I hate it when I order a steak burger and I get cardboard because the steak is cooked well done to eat. Not in this case. The meat was rare and juicy. Chips were a little light but I ate them all so no wastage. Recommend for afternoon lunch!
This was a decent restaurant that I visited for a work lunch. The staff were friendly and we ordered the Cheeseburger, Chicken Burger and Chicken Parmi. The Cheeseburger was average and the patty was a little dry. The Chicken Burger was the opposite and had way too much sauce. The Chicken Parmi was dry and the sauce had dried up and felt like a layer instead of being cooked into the chicken.
Had the fried chicken burger. Must have been designed and cooked by the janitor. Chicken wasnt fresh. No salad in the burger or on the plate. Half a bottle of sweet BBQ sauce in the burger. Disgusting. Only reason I didnt demand a refund, order another meal or leave was this was a work lunch. I wouldnt eat this if it was given away free.
Had an espresso martini and tried out the Wednesday $16 chicken wing special which was nice! Very friendly staff
Nice beers and ciders, good vibe and great food, we had the pork sliders, quesadillas and Thai chicken salad. 😋
Great place for a few drinks after work. Gets very busy after 3pm
The manager & staff were quite rude as we approached the bar, no greetings a smile nothing, very non friendly but to the regular drinkers they seemed upbeat & smiling. My friend and I felt like total outsiders even when the place was empty. We had a few pints then left, our city experience at Gramercy was very disappointing.
Been to this place a few times and we were served by the same person. A humble request please at least say "Hi" or smile to your customers while serving them. Horrible customer service, never going back there!!
Got refused service for having high visibility shirt on. Will never support a business that wont allow a worker to have a beer ar 4pm after work. AVOID.
Youre supposed to be a pub and thats what you classify yourselves as. You dont advertise that you DONT SERVE HI-VIS at the door but will quite happily turn away the service. How rude and disgraceful are you. Guarantee you wouldnt turn away an officer in a uniform. Advertise it rather than hiding behind the bar.
Called in on spec and had a lovely steak. Great atmosphere and the prices very good as well. Recommended.
Nice venue ... good staff. Nice scotch fillet burger . Chips spot on. Calm environment. No zombies sighted. Perfect location.
Standard pub affair. Competitive prices, decent though unexciting menu, quick service although a bit of a language barrier at the bar. Food was good, gets the job done without breaking the bank.
A good stock of beer and spirits and a healthy number of bar staff ensures a short wait while having a good choice. Management helped us with a large table despite no booking at a peak time. Food was great, service excellent. A good time had by all which is what it is all about.
Shocking customer service !! Waitress so rude this morning .Waited about 25 mins for a cup of coffee .Staff need to be more friendly ...I work in hospitality and have never been treated so badly in a venue before .Don’t waste your time with this place ...
First time in the place, hoping for an afternoon snack. So a basket of hot chips and a pint of Heineken.Service was fast, the Bar Staff friendly. Now on first inspection, the heated, ceramic bowl of chips looked great.Hot, fresh from the fryer. But...when I asked for Salt and Pepper shakers, I got sachets. Thats a little low rent for an upmarket Bar. Delivering Tomato Sauce and Aioli thimble for dipping is fair. But if thats what they give you, I know theres no point in asking for Mayonnaise or a nice hot sauce, like Nandos.Back to the chips. Hot, crispy and fresh from the fryer....but not cooked thru properly. Just that hint of uncooked chip resistance on the inside. So close....but missing a perfect score.Still, it seems like a nice venue.
Set amongst the stunning gardens of Central Park, Gramercy Bar & Kitchen is conveniently located on Hay Street West...The Customer Service is excellent, the staff are always helpful & polite....It’s a great place to sit & enjoy a coffee in beautiful surroundings...Whether you are just after a coffee, a delicious meal with a pint of Craft Beer or even if you’re just after something small, the staff are very knowledgeable when it comes to The menu, always recommending the best of meals & beverages.Great for sml or lge groups & also great for dining alone... Wonderful Atmosphere..!
I did a days work in the Gramercy a couple of years back and my memory of it all centres around the young chef who had just taken over the kitchen and how passionate he was and how much he wanted to put his stamp on the food there. I promised myself when I was finished my shift that I would go back some day and see if he had. Today I found myself wandering down hay street with time on my hands so I went in to see how it was going. I could see him through the hatch in the kitchen but didn’t say hello in case he didn’t remember me.The food was outstanding and I could see he still has his passion. Can’t wait to come back again and to anyone who hasn’t tried the food here you are missing out. Friendly service and a nice cold pint too :-)
Great location and nice selection for a quick bite for lunch.
Went in for lunch with a few mates today. Fortunately the company was excellent because the food and atmosphere were terrible. Foodwise, if an unimaginative, zombie pub menu from the 80s is your thing then go here. Mind you there will be a 45 minute wait for your well prepared but soul-deleted grub. As for the humid, greasy, torpid climate of the place you would be more comfortable with an end-of-day soak in the spa at the local public pool. The drinks were good. The staff were adequate.
Had a nice lunch here. Ordered the chicken parmigiana, cooked well and good size. Prices are a bit high but food tasted great. Staff are friendly and service was fast
Wide range of drinks, music, supporting staff and quick service makes you feel really confirtable. Ample of space with well maintained seating arrangement. Good for professionals to hangout together. Dont miss happy hours time.
A nice pub next to Central Park open area on Hay street. A big space with lots of seating options and good specials. Clean and tidy place with friendly staff that are very attentive.
Best sausage rolls in Perth !!! This place is just part of Perths tiny business district its loud, pumping and pleasing with after work hours and really satisfying food.
Staff here are incredibly aggressive for absolutely no reason. Not just to myself but multiple other patrons. One staff member even through her hands up when "asking" what a patron wanted! Staff were also seen sniggering together throughout the night as if they thought their behaviour was funny. Pretty shocked, to be honest.
Awesome food and great location. Best sausage rolls!
to the owner .I havent been to perth for many years so dropping into this fine establishment with my daughter all our needs were catered for with no effort it seemed and the food we had especially the lunch burger with fries had me drooling and Im hard to pse .my daughter who is in a wheelchair said she thoroughly enjoyed our date not forgetting the pleasant greeting . smiling waitresses and the view outside superb.however this visit was a Monday at 12noon so we were spoilt cheers 😎😎😍 footnote prices were very reasonable very cool
I like this bar. Nothing special but an easy modern bar. Lots of space. Nice atmosphere. Great staff. No agenda. Good beers. No hassles if it gets a bit excited. Good place.
We went as a group on Friday. You would need to make a reservation if you are going for lunch. Also when you get into the restaurant you will need to look for your table your name will be written on the tag. The restaurant gets really busy. You will also need to order the food from the bar.The food is good, the portions are very generous. I will go back and try other items on their menu.I had the scallops and chorizo dish on the specials, the serving is generous for the price it costs.
First time at Gramercy for me, and from my experience it certainly wont be my last. My compliments have to go to the chef for the most succulent and delicious duck breasts, followed by a most delicious Pumpkin pie dessert. The House red was more than palatable, as was a Heineken. Compliments to the staff also for an attentive manner and prompt service.
nice place, came here for a work lunch, the pre-orders and service were spot on. my dish was this pressed lamb for $25 - it was delicious and pretty well priced given the location and setting. they have some decent drink specials too
Went here today to meet a friend. They accept booking on line. I think that this place has a very nice ambiance Mondays through Thursdays but Fridays can get really loud and busy which is understandable. Food is great. Place is nice. The reason why I have given this place four stars is because there are not enough healthy options. And maybe not a lot of food selection.
Good food. I liked it. My sister in law hated it, though.
Went there with my wife for dinnerShe ordered Fish and Chips and I ordered Chicken Parmigiana. We also shared a Coleslaw. She had a Lemon Lime Bitter and I had a House WhiteFairly average tasting food overall. The wine was good. The price was good also. Service average
Very well presented dishes at a fair price. The pork cheeks were pretty special. Overall a good place for a drink and a feed that doesnt take itself too seriously.
Just popped on for quick beer. Nice views over garden and friendly bar ladies
We were a group of six and a one year old child. Staff were absolutely helpful and accommodating. I ordered the Beef & Guiness pie and it was delicious. The meat was tender and the murshrooms made it all even better. Will certainly return for more!
Good location, but food was only ok. Burger didnt have much flavour, chips and onion rings were quite oily, as if they were fried in old oil. Service was fine, although we ordered and paid at the bar. Had gone there once before for their sandwich, which is good.
Pretentious venue without the quality to justify the attitude. The service was terrible and the meal I ordered was poor quality for the price paid, and thrown together on the plate. The bread on the steak sandwich wasnt fresh, and overcooked. The caramelised onions looked like they had been there a while, the meat itself was well cooked, but bland, tasteless, and full of grissle. The side chips were okay, but the portion was so meagre it was an insult to be served them. The meal came out suspiciously quick - under 5 minutes - and it tasted like it had been precooked. Quite a poor effort in both food and service. The decore is nothing special but they have attempted to emulate a posh atmosphere nonetheless, and charge high prices to fool people into thinking it is something it isnt. A venue with an identity crisis, terrible food, terrible service, and overpriced.... What more could you ask for?
I visited Saturday for a meal with my husband and we had a lovely lamb entree which looked fantastic on the plate, followed by a fish of the day which was cooked beautifully and my husband had their steak dish which was cooked to order correctly and very filling. We couldnt fit in dessert as we were full but staff were well mannered and attentative, topping up our water and our bottle of wine we bought. Nice location - a lovely view, and the weather was nice also, a good night will frequent again to see what else is on offer.
