Nice place but neglected right now. Food is good and range of selection is very wide and interesting.

Have been to Govindas resturant names. A total veg resturant that serves excellent food that really makes me think went I eat meat at all. The flavours, taste and price are all excellent. Only slight comment the resturant is tucked away in an accommodations block and takes a little finding.

Restaurant is good for vegetarians who is having food with out onions. Only thing is the quantity is not standardized. Unexpected size of idlis and tea, . Fried rice, etc...You cant exactly predict your order with your first visit.Pros. Devotional environment with bhajan instrumentals.... Gives you bs positive energy here

Delicious food, especially if you have Hindu dietary restrictions. It’s very popular amount Hare Krishna followers who do not have non vegetarian food or Mushrooms/Onion/Garlic in their diet. Good place for Jains too. It’s slightly expensive but understandably so as it’s in Juffair.

Good Indian restaurant for 100% vegetarians......also they dont serve any dishes in onion or garlic.......so good option for Jain community in Bahrain....... Personally i tried thin crushed oven grilled pizza...but was quite disappointed.......it is thin base but not thin crust pizza.......Do try Govindas special dosa......

Excellent Restaurant in Juffair area Bahrain. This pure vegetarian restaurant offers varioua delicacies close to Authentic Indian taste at Bahrain. You can love the food over herw if you are looking for Authentic Indian Vegetarian food in Juffair Bahrain. The ambience is also very good. The hotel has good vegetarian cuisine across the South Indian tastes. You will definitely enjoy the food here.

Good for food without onion and garlic. Satvic सात्त्विक preparation. Must visit if you are in the locality. And yes all options are vegetarian only - as the name suggests.

The food is decent, no complaint there, but the service is pathetic. One of the staff who so claimed to be the senior most and decision maker but not the owner does not know how to maintain Customer relationship. I have ordering home delivery on dialy basis from past 2 months, but just today when my order was 300 fills below there minimum order they refused to deliver, through I stay in the adjacent building. Ever after repeatedly requesting the so called Manager he denied to serve. He never took the loyalty into consideration and stuck to his ego.Thus lost the customer.

They know how to spoil the authentic dish. FIRST and Last visit. Recommend not to think about it at all

Great tasty vegetarian Indian food, both North Indian and South Indian. One wont even realize they dont use onion and garlic.

Great pure vegetarian food. The only one in Bahrain with good quality. We enjoy meals herw esp when v are fasting and when we need food without onion and garlic. Their Shrikhand is must try.

Ordered Paneer Pav Bhaji and Chhole Bhature. These people dont know anything about the bhaji of Pav Bhaji as it was easily the worst bhaji I have ever tasted in my life. The bhaji was a mash of some extremely sour tomatoes, thats all. And as for the paneer factor. There were some scrapings of white on top. Coming to the chhole, it was the same - an intense orange coloured gravy tasting just of tomatoes. The two bhatures were just ok, though dripping in oil. With the bad gravies still aplenty, we ordered two Tandoori Rotis as well because we didnt want to waste the food, and unbelievably, they couldnt even get the rotis right! A totally ruined dinner experience!! Never returning!!!

Disappointing is an understatement Bad Chole in Chole Batture, horrendous Bhaji in Pav Bhaji, even the Tandoori Roti was an utter failure. Food is outrageously overpriced and served by zombies. The worst is when youre charged 300fills for 100fills bottle of water in a restaurant whichs named after a God and adorned with pictures of that God. If only they realised one can attain God only by sincerely serving fellow beings. My soul would prefer starving than eating here.

Not so good. Overly priced when comparing to the restaurants of same league. Taste is not authenticate Indian when comes to Indian desi dishes.

Not disappointed. Disgusted. Had the chana masala, but I had no idea that chickpeas could be ruined so majestically. The hummus- I didnt know whether to eat it or deliver a eulogy. Extensive menu, but why would I bother coming back ? Not sure what is up with the no onions and garlic policy. Those items might improve the place.....Well, maybe not.....😢

Was not impressed by any of dishes from North Indian, indo Chinese or South Indian... Also, staff seems in a hurry to close the restaurant if you visit close to 1045

Serving the authentic Indian taste but purely vegetarian dishes which I enjoyed. Staff is also very humble. Great seating layout with ample space and very neat and clean.

Im eating at govinda every week, always good food and number 1 tawa chapati and tandoori kulcha , naan.. sometimes I give a try to the Italian options that‘s never regrets my indulgence..

Nice Friday lunch buffet at 2.5bd very tasty, we ordered as well few plates from a la carte menu and food was very good as well with good portion and very reasonable price, no one in juffair as price so low ! Its a real restaurant not a cheap cafeteria!!

Nice restaurant with simply decor but nice overall, the menu it’s very amply and everything it’s cooked freshly and the food it’s served fast in a nicely manner from the staffs, the food it’s never too oily , or too spicy or salty, I must say that Govindas makes the best tandoori and tawa breads in Bahrain, this is a clean and healthy place , must visit if in Bahrain, the price are very reasonable but the quality it’s very excellent!!

First time here, nice food , not oily , not low class restaurant, nice clean and quality overall, price very reasonable for food quality and restaurant level , I will come back again for sure !!

Food quality has gone down in last 2 years.The chef is stubborn as few other waiters. They will never accept any suggestion or complaint. The paneer was found to be stale 2 times. But they never accept their mistakes and only say that our quality doesnt change for any one. Pathetic.

I visited Govinda’s today for the Buffet, I was welcomed by the staff with very kind smile and respecting gesture. The food was extremely colourful with many dishes and deserts. The taste was amazing and the prices are extremely low. The deserts were extremely tasty. The staff took special interest in serving us hot. I must mention that the Chef has a good sense of taste and flavour. Must try for pure Vegetarians Visiting Bahrain.

not a best one for non vegetarians,i tried veg food lunch open buffet on friday with my family,it was average...roti naan both were not upto mark

Vegetation restautent. But not value for money. Food items are costly and the taste also not great. If you are a vegetation fan, I wont sugget this as there are different options available with good taste and value for money.
