Easygoing restaurant offering Pakistani, Bangladeshi & Indian staples, with a lunch buffet.
Worst haleem I have ever had
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!Found bugs in the food. When I told the owner, he blamed me. The food was so tasteless and so dry. DO NOT GO HERE. The owner is so disrespectful and doesn’t respect other people, not even their religion. I wish I could give this 0 star.
AVOID THIS PLACE. DO NOT GO. I went here for the first time and ordered palak paneer just to find a WORM and PARASITE in the food. The tandoor roti was not cooked at all. The guy (ownermade the food in the same dish as the other people with no gloves, no mask, no wash hands, or an apron. When I told him that I found a worm in the food, he denied and tried to blame me falsely. He made an excuse. I also bought a kulfi and it was frozen only ice no kulfi, when I asked him, he said, “just take the ice off” DO NOT GO HERE. BAD SERVICE. BAD TASTELESS FOOD. EXPIRED KULFI. YOU WILL GET FOOD POISONING.
Its decent desi food for the best pricing you can get. Anytime better than the 20$ buffet with watery dishes at Kabob houseFood has good flavor with right portions. Yummy naansNeeds update to name it needs to sound like desi restaurant to get kore crowd
This place for years change lots of owner and the food is terrible place is empty dirty and never customer there
Oh my goodness I was very pleased it was so good! Matter of fact if you want to make a baby come here to grab a tasty treat lol. I went on Labor Day weekend. I came too Atlantic City to drop a passenger off from the Clementon area and knew that this place was the place to grab something delicious. $11 not bad at all!
After wasting the Atlantic City Beach this is an amazing place to grab food and especially Halal sense it’s really hard to find Halal Food in America I’ve been to it at least a couple of times and at start it was amazing every food had amazing taste but I feel like they have dropped the quality of the food over time so watch out for what you order.
Food is good and it was the only place I found price is so reasonable. Other places are very expensive! Food quality, quantity, price all are satisfactory!
I didnt like this place at all. Chicken kebab was to spicy they even didnt tell us, so i dont recomment this place
The paneer mukani wasnt that good AT ALL 👎👎👎👎👎. Ordered naan and got roti, which didnt taste fresh AT ALL 👎👎👎👎👎. REGRETTED GETTING FOOD FROM HERE. NEVER AGAIN !!!!!
Had the chicken biryani. It was delicious but they need to put more meat. Like way more meat. Salamat
Worst Customer service, Cashier/Owner/Order taker was v Rude person. We left this place due to this rudeness and didnt eat it so my feedback is not about food quality.
I wish I could give it no star at all!! this restaurant is messed up the person behind the counter was rude when we asked him for another shopper he simply said oh this is strong so one is enough anyways we were tired and visiting from New York by the bus it was our first time. So took Uber to come here just to get desi food, when we went back to our hotel with food we got soooo disappointed the food was old it tasted horrible couldn’t eat it the biryani was so bad. We were tired we were hungry and they ruined our day. I would love to go to Atlantic City again with my hubby but never again to this restaurant!
Ive never had a bad experience i love the fried fish and the desserts.. pleasant and friendly people a quiet place with really good food.
The place was quiet and dry. So was the chicken pulao. The pakora was tasty though.
Expensive and test less foods....
The owner was very rude they have no customer service we go with family and we just give order and I tell the owner can you add some thing in my order and he say why you tell me again he talk to me very rude I was with my kids my kids get scared then we did not eat I just came out we did not eat they don’t know how to give respect to the family and customer they should know how to give respect woman’s this guy was sick
Stay away from this place, they served stale days old curry and biryani was reheated several times at least, worst experience ever. On top of that the guy kept insisting it was fresh while there was smell coming from the chicken.
I order this order Picture clear sure with naan but not received. And restaurant manager Saya not include naan ☹️
Very nice courteous staff. Tasty food timely served. Will definitely recommend trying this one especially if youre fond of Asian cousine.
We ordered cherga chicken was really dry and the chicken was probably old also ordered nihari, it was the worst nihari I ever had. The salad was supposed to be free but they carged $3 for it. If I could have I would gave them a 0 star.
Good Pakistani Food ... delicious 😋
It was very bad.The person who was on the front desk was very rude 😒We came from maryland and when we saw gourmet restaurant we was really excited to eat there but it was very bad experience.
I placed an order through their website online.. Payed for it using my credit card. Received a conformation and everything. I get to the restaurant they barely want to acknowledge me. Then when I told them I placed my order online they said they don’t take orders from online get a refund. I said no do you know how long that will take. Then he tells me my last name and says you should ask for a refund. Very unprofessional very rude. I ordered here before using Uber eats the lamb was amazing but their customer service is a complete turn off. Never eating here again.
I got cheese kababs behari kababs and naans to go. The order was ready to go when I arrived. The cheese kababs were great, behari kababs werent as good as shalimar in Edison or Tandoori kabab in Voorhees but not bad either. Naans felt like they were made out of rubber, I mean seriously I had to keep on chewing on them for so long that my mouth got tired every bite. I am not new to naans and can confidently say these were the worst naans I ever had and dont even deserve 1 star.
Made me drive 45 minutes to say that they don’t take any more tables after 9 o’clock after telling me you don’t worry we’re open till 10 o’clock would be nice if you told us they wouldn’t take tables after 9 and needs to learn to talk to people nicer rather then telling us to get off the table especially when you don’t even have anyone seating one star is to much for what I’m feeling right now
On the menu tandoori chicken 10.99 , price is reasonable but food they gave me today its no where near taste like "chicken Massla" worse food I ever had...taste so bad specially chicken tasted like old chicken...I aint coming here again...
Worst food!!!!They made 3days ago and told us if u dont like dont eat
The food was really bad. The biryani was from yesterday. The Raita was watery and tasteless. When we complained the person working there showed us attitude and didn’t seem to bother at all.
We ordered chicken & goat biriyani. The biriyani seems like they made it two days ago. And over salted. The old guy receptionist attitude was so terrible & he don’t even serve the food. When we told him this food stale & salty, and he told us, “ This food is like this and if you don’t like then don’t eat” 🤬??????
Omg the lamb chops are to die for!! I would suggest take out, tried their chops, chicken seekh kabab, chic peas..umm ..yummy! Binaries kabab was okay.. nothing great.. but if you eat lamb then the chops are simply amazing! The food made our vacation worthwhile!!
Amazing test of Indian food.. i can’t believe.. its 100% mouthwatering test.. we order for Punjab food. Some sweet.. & It’s really so YammyY.. I don’t have any special word to explain quality & quantity worth values of money.. they took party orders & as we’ll dining in facilities over there... I love to visit there again.
*WARNING*We went here because of the Yelp reviews originally but Id honestly rate it 0 stars.I was taken aback that all the food behind the display case wasnt heated which is why they were microwaving all dishes! Im not sure how safe it is to consume bacteria growing food.I ordered a sampler of sweets. When I got back to my hotel and opened the sweets box, I was shocked the owner gave me about 3/4 lb of rancid sweets.UPDATE: When I returned the 2nd time, I asked if they were still serving cold microwaved food with 2 tiny pieces of chicken in a chicken dish and the owner remembered yelled out, "Oh I remember you! You wrote a 1 star review!" (which was an honest reviewand therefore refused to serve me!Wow... instead of actually changing his policies, he got mad at customers for expecting sanitary and safe food practices!PS - The reviews of people that have only ever written 1 review, that claim 5* are probably fake just to boost the score. Look at the reviews of real Reviewers (Local Guidesthat typically are between 1-3 stars only.
The food wasn’t great honestly. Had chicken briyani, goat briyani and chicken achri. The water had flies in them which is crazy that they don’t even clean. The attitude was bad of the receptionist.
Its ok if you wanna wait 30mins just to get your NAN and Tandoori. The goat curry i ordered smelled a bit, But the Mutton biriyani is really good and fresh!
Food was very good tasty & very very best price with such a good quantity. Ordered Alloo Paratha & Keema Naan both were properly cooked and freshly made. Raita was good in a quantity with that price. Tea was very tasty. Overall experience was very good. Would highly recommend this place & will also visit again.
Placed an order 30 minutes before my arrival only to arrive seeing my food be put in a platter and microwaved for 2 minutes. When I entered the restaurant it wasnt busy at all. I feel slightly disrespected. Will not be visiting again. Horrible first experience. Would reccomend Mehfil, Nizams, or Aroma instead.
The food was great, I enjoyed the bread with curry. We picked up the food at 9:00 PM and it was worth it.
The people who serve in this place dont speak English but the lady is warm and smiling and can understand the order. The place is big but mostly empty. The food we ordered was tasty but definitely not fresh. Felt like they just heated some leftovers n gave.Naan and parathas were fresh but too buttery. Not bad to visit when you are hungry and need something to fill your stomach.
This place used to be good but now its the worst restaurant in Atlantic City and that says something. The service they give is terrible. They are extremely rude and not understanding at all. They dont care what they serve you as long as you pay and the saying " the customer is always right" doesnt exist in their vocabulary. They pay their employees $5 an hour so I m sure its not legal. The food isnt all that either, they will take cold food and literally heat up the food right in front of you.
95% of Menu consist of Cooked Frozen Food (BBQ,Rice Dishes, Chicken/Meat Curry). I have attached the photos. If you dont mind eating a Microwaved food, then go for it. The only item that they have to make Fresh is Fish, Boneless Boti (BBQor any Boneless Curry and Naan/Roti. Salt/Black Peppers on the table are Rarely filled up. Few Napkins. No kind of Salad. The only reason i still go there from time to time because i like their boneless boti and roghni naan. Both items are fresh. They give disposable plates.Really Dull Atmosphere. No proper AirConditioning.
Sitting is ok but the food is so yummmmy.
Bad food man, don’t even go. Don’t even think about eating here. NEVER. I’ve never had food this terrible in my whole life. The atmosphere is dead and everyone is just tired. Overall just don’t go.it also smells weird. Don’t waste your money.
Not so great atmosphere. And they are serving microwaved food and the food they were microwaving was sitting outside for a very long time i guess. And the food tastes average.
As other reviewers mentioned here its tasty food, but they serve old foodYou can know once you warm the food homeI have been long customer here, at time I was confused if it was smell of spice or food was oldAfter having stomach pain twice, it was old food. Checked with others who would do frozen take out as thats what they say when they know its old foodNo more eating here !Avoid
Taste was great, the interior was good, and the price was reasonable. we ordered 1 Chicken biriyani, 1 quail bird roast, 1 chicken shik kabab, 2 nun breads for less than $20. staffs were not organized and struggling to take care of individual customer. we had to walk to the cashier to pay bill after waiting for an unusually long time
“Good food in moderate pricing.they are not Indian but they do offer good Indian food. but as Indian, I can say the food was not that great but it was good.we ordered alu gobhi-daal-chicken korma and chicken jalfrezi. daal was very bad but rest was ok. nothing like wooww.Naan was very hard to break as it was more like middle east bread. The restaurant looks ok too but I guess it’s only Indian rest around the boardwalk.
Saying that this place is terrible, is an understatement.Lets start from Chicken Nihari, which was half cooked and chicken was so hard and sticky like some one glued or tie with the ropes. For starters the decor is totally unappealing, and looks like a fast-food joint. Also, the food is expensive, you get small portions, and it is tasteless...I am of Indian ethnicity and have been around good Indian food since birth. The server is inattentive to your needs; simply brings the food, then shows up when youre done. Heres the "fun" part, THEY ADD a 15% GRATUITY to your bill...you do not get to show your displeasure through your tip...or lack thereof...THEY ADD IT TO YOUR BILL!! When I saw that, I asked the server if we do not get the option of giving a tip, he simply smiled and said nothing. Of course, if the tip is added to the bill, they do not have an incentive to provide you with good service.Mosquitoes were flying everywhere i mention to the gentleman on register but honestly he was like i dont give a s**t.Dear reader, learn from our mistakes (failure to read these reviews before venturing to this place). DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT. IT IS A RIPOFF. The only thing missing from the sordid experience was getting sick from the food...and Im not sure if Im out of the woods yet...it may have a delayed, sickening effect.AVOID AT ALL COSTS...PLEASE!!!!!
This was the worst lunch Ive ever had. My friend and I stopped in today hoping to have some decent Indian curry. What we got was microwaved basmati rice and chicken legs with flavorless reheated sauce. The kebabs were rolled ground chicken which were again reheated in a microwave. The only upside was their garlic naan was decent; maybe 3 stars out of four for that. The meal overall - absolutely disgusting.
The worst service Ive had at an Indian restaurant. We ordered food and it took over an hour and a half to get one dish. They brought the naan out before any of the other dishes so it got hard before any curries came out. The waiters were negligent and when we asked to speak to the manager he refused to come out at first. Once he finally came we explained to him that the food was not up to par and waiting 90 minutes for food was not acceptable. He consequently told us to get out and never come back. We didnt get 3 of our dishes and needless to say we wont be coming back to this disaster of a restaurant
