If you have ever been in Florida, I would say that Costa Rica is similar to Publix, but Casa Rica is nicer and with more employees to help you.

Great gourmet Market that has lots of items that are hard to find in other supermarkets in Asunción. Prices are very close to other supermarket prices in town as well. They have an awesome panadería, and hot prepared foods sold by the kilo to take home. Have a good selection for gluten free and diet menus.

Good variety of products. Some are more expensive than others, but always good quality items available.

Nice super market with a wide variety of high quality products. I also noticed that whenever I interact with their staff theyre friendlier and more helpful than at competing super markets.Casa rica has the reputation of being expensive, but I think thats simply because a lot of their products are imported, if one only buys their local products then the pricing is similar to competitors such as super6.They also a lot of really good food in their restaurant and to take away.

Everything you need, easy to find stuff and easy to navigate. Plenty of parking.

One of our favorite supermarkets here! It’s the WholeFoods of Paraguay 😂, you can reliably go here and find more obscure staples like cous cous, quinoa and some basic Asian sauces. The bakery section also usually has some delicious samples going too!

Good cosido, chipa and empanadas, a place you must visit if in Asuncion Paraguay, the alfajor is one of the best of the city.

This glorious wonderland is home to untold wonders from around the world. Where else in Paraguay can you find manchego cheese and apricot jam? If you are looking for international or specialty food, this is THE place in Asuncion to look. It is pretty expensive, but worth the trip.

The best supermarket for me. Its a cozy place, good lightening, the fruits and vegetables are all great, and the food is also always fresh and delicious. Theres a couch with all the local newspapers to wait while you order something special from the kitchen. There are 2 entrances. And the prices are totally reasonable. They offer online shopping + take out or delivery. Love this place.

More of a western grocery store. Very modern and have all kinds of imported things available.

They have products that most supermarkets do not. Prices a a little more expensive, but worth it. Great place to shop for hard to find products.

Great selection of stuff. Best beer selection in Paraguay. Lots of good imports from Germany and the US. Fresh veggies are clean and the best in Paraguay. Pricey for imports, but reasonably priced for everything else. Butcher section is the only one I trusted when I lived in Asuncion.
