The cafe behind the reception desk is lovely and a good place to wait for the car to charge.

Thoroughly enjoyed every aspect, including the entrance for the disabled, the Reception, the very friendly staff, the food and the cleanliness of eating areas and toilets.

My partner and I came in for dinner, the chicken and egg in the caesar salad were way to over cooked and the chicken and bacon were left as whole pieces instead of cut up, there was also an egg shell in the egg, after complaining to staff they remade it, with the chicken still being way over cooked and we had to wait a while for it to come back out, not the first time Ive been disappointed in the soldiers club incompetent kitchen staff

This is a really well presented club with friendly and welcoming staff. We grabbed dinner at the bistro which offers a good range of meals. Food was all fresh and nicely done. Steak and salmon cooked perfectly, salad and veggies also tasty. My tip would be to get a membership which we did as ends up easily paying itself back if you’re buying a few meals and / or drinks.

One of our favourite places to stop in and visit as a family when we travel from Melbourne to Sydney. The club is modern, clean and the staff are always friendly. The food in the bistro is quick and always has huge portions. There is a lovely kids play area available too, with sections for 1-3 year olds as well as 4-9 year olds. The parent change room toilets are always clean. Parking is available on site, both covered and uncovered. If you are looking for a reliable place to take your family for a meal, this is the place to visit.

2 steak meals both stone cold. Both steaks, asked for medium both were rare still bleeding and cold. Dianne sauce was thick and cold. The vegetables were crunchy and cold like they just came out of the fridge. Only thing edible was the chips. $65.00 for chips, we wont be back.

Waited for 40 minutes for a cold plate of food. Vegetables under cooked and couldn’t cut them with a knife. Salmon was dry. Very disappointing.

Stopped In at the Cafe for coffee and cake with my wife and son.Staff wasnt interested in greetings.Coffee she made tasted burnt and couldnt even finish it, horrible.Piece of chocolate cake was OK.

Excellent for a quick snack. Great staff very attentive. Highly recommend.

Three times now we have dined the childrens fish meal was uncooked almost raw and out side so crisp no good enoughChildrens spaghetti is so poor valueMainly spaghetti n a dolip of meatDry as.We have six that dine twice weekly at least. We are unsatisfied members

I’ve been to the Goulburn Soldiers Club many times and eaten at their bistro Diggers by the Park. The meals are very rarely enjoyable.Attached is a photograph of a “medium” rump steak, the blood was dripping from the steak as you can see my plate was full of blood.The meal got wasted as I can’t eat rare steak. This is a common occurrence at Diggers by the Park.

I can only give 3 stars because the day we visited Goulburn and went for a meal at 6pm, all the tables were booked out. Lots of children running around yelling inside. In fairness there was a festival in the park nearby, which was family friendly.

Great steak burger, excellent prices for standard beers, friendly helpful staff.

Nice club, great staff, good beer. Took a star off because you need a packed lunch and a map to find your way around.

Milkshakes were nice as was the steak burger.They really need to work on their Roast Vegetable Salad with Feta.All vegetables were purple from Beetroot juice and tasted the same, I had trouble knowing what I was eating.A bit of a disaster unfortunately.Note for Chef: Most people who choose this dish do so because of health choices. Think about ditching the white potato and showcasing the beautiful colours and flavours of sweet potato, pumpkin, carrot, zucchini, onion and beans. Not forgetting the lovely beetroot but please keep it away from other vegetables while cooking.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Usually if my experience was bad I would talk to the manager/supervisor and air my grievances and not leave a bad review in respect of the business. In this instance it is imperative that my review is left.My husband ordered our meals with entrees and main to come out together. This instruction was not adhered too. It is a common practice for us, as I dont eat a main meal. Then we asked twice where my husbands meal was plus our brucheta bread was awful. Finally his steak came out. While he was eating it a staff member confronted him and said he could have a refund for the bread. He said well Im eating my meal which Im also not happy with. She said to him not to get angry at her which he wasnt. He was hungry as wed had a 7 hour drive and all we wanted to do was share a nice meal together.Soooooo disappointed with this experience as we ate here last week, had exactly the same meals and loved it. Lets hope others enjoyed their experience. The way we were treated was dreadful.

Nice staff except for 1 young girl in bistro. Clearly had a bad day.

The chicken palmy was absolutely woefull!You oughta be absolutely ashamed of yourselves for serving this up!It was burnt, it was dry!If I could have given it a —1 star ⭐️ I would have!You need too get new chefs or cooks that can actually cook!I won’t be back!!!

Great friendly club. First choice when visiting Goulburn. Excellent Bistro and the Sports Bar with the biggest screen in town is the best!

Pretty good. Private function held there. Would have been better to bring out the finger food in smaller batches instead of one big lot as most of it ended up cold and then left there.

Salmon is flavourless, hot chicken wings is so sour and it comes with a sour source! Calamari is too salty and overcooked, the only thing we liked is the kids pizza.

A must visit place in Goulburn. The food, the ambiance, the kids play zone, the portion, the range of choices were simply over the moon. This was one of the best dine in restaurants we have ever been to where kids were more busy than us enjoying their time and food at the same time.

The food was tasty and reasonably priced.A great place to get a decent meal while in Goulburn.

Came down for lunch, very courteous and friendly staff. Chicken schnitzel burgers however were the most bland thing my wife and I have ever eaten. Disappointing after travelling back to the town I grew up in.

Excellent place for the kids with a built in play ground inside the bistro area. Kids have a ball whilst adults can sit nearby and enjoy a meal and drink. Service is good, friendly staff. Food not bad either. Visit often from Oberon and never disappoints.

Food is just OK: it’s nice enough but nothing special and slightly on the expensive side for what it is. Service is very good though. The main drawcard here is a particularly nice kids’ play area.

We have been going to the Soldiers Club main restaurant recently at lunchtime to catch up with family & friends. I have had the delicious soup each time. The price is reasonable & its very filling.The only problem is that other choices of meals are a little expensive especially for those on a pension. A big thankyou to the great staff. They are friendly & helpful. A big thankyou to Brock. He always has a smile on his face & is such a pleasant young man. Thanks again for your service.

Delicious Chicken Mignon with exceptional service made my visit pleasurable.

A very good renovation of the bistro. Food has been a great improvement and of great quality. Still need to see more people in the bar areas. But best meals weve had in years.

What a fantastic place. Its large, modern, has atmosphere, great friendly staff, huge country size meals....yum yum yum. Just what I need after travelling for 14 hours.

It had been a while and I was pleasantly surprised at all the improvement to the club dining area I will be back.

A child friendly restaurant offering variety of food and good ambiance. May become packed on weekends. Overall, great experience and came back for the 3rd time today :)
