We did see a snake at the playground so we didnt stay long

Large open space that is well kept, playgrounds and maintained path that is perfect for walking and biking

This is one of the best places for families. It has paths to walk along and paths for bike and scooter riders, barbecues, playgrounds and the most beautiful scenery. It truly is a place to relax and for the kids to have fun!

A quiet walk in the cold on a winters day. Not many people there. Look forward to fishing there when a bit warmer.Very pleasant reserve.

Nice range of walking and riding areas. Reasonable playground and picnic facilities (shelters, tables, electric BBQsnear the lake. Mostly level access to paths.

I dont know if this is a locals-only secret but its very poorly signed for visitors. No signs on the main road and the one big sign is old (from when the toilet block was still a proposed building). The carpark is far from the picnic table and toilets, definitely more suited to joggers and cyclists than picnickers. The lake is beautiful but with lots of bugs. Perhaps a good tourist destination in the future with some better signage and toilets that stay open later.

Park Run

Picturesque reserve. Visited for a walk with fun runners and walkers who meet every Saturday morning at 8am. Great walk tracks around the lake. Play equipment for children and amenities very clean.

Great park. Shamr you cant walk all the way around the dam!

Escape to a touch of nature l, Just outside the City of Orange. Plenty of walking and cycling paths. A great place for a walk or to exercise. A Family friendly location with facilities to have a barbecue and relax for the day.

Have lunch here most days, really peaceful.

To be honest, I like this place more than I liked Lake Canobolas. It’s a quaint and hidden area without as many people as Lake Canobolas. It also has gym equipment nearby and a good running track.

Ottimo luogo per passare una giornata in relax. Ci sono tanti e vastissimi spazi aperti bei quali si possono svolgere molteplici attività. Dallesercizio fisico, in quanto lungo i diversi percorsi ci sono degli attrezzi per potersi allenare, a far giocare i bambini nei diversi playground. Inoltre vi sono anche tavoli, panchine e barbecue per poter mangiare allaperto. Vi è anche un bel laghetto dove poter pescare. Allinterno del parco vi è una pista, in parte ciclabile ed in parte per camminare/correre. È possibile accedervi da diversi parti del parco, grazie ai molteplici ingressi e i diversi parcheggi a disposizione. Tutto gratuito!!!

Great park with something for everyone

Awesome spot for a picnic , bird watching ,fishing or just taking a walk. it has exercise equipment along the walking track so you can stop and hit the machines to lose a few extra calories. love the place highly recommended

Great place for all level of walkers,runners etc. Suitable for patents to take prams. Good place to take dogs for a run. Lots of wildlife and bush tracks. Picnic tables overlooking the dam. Take plenty of water.

Nice place for adults, kids play equipment,heaps of room for game of cricket, footy. BBQS on site. Shelters, toilets. Circuit for running, push bike riding and birds, ducks and pelicans.

Beautiful area to walk, run, ride. Exercise stations, playground for the kids, dog area across the road. Kids love to picnic here

Excellent place for day out and bbq

Great place to walk your fur baby!! A massive off-leash area awaits, as well as a large adventure playground complete with spider net and a huge network of paved walking/riding tracks. Definitely do bring the kids here to stretch their legs. BBQ area also available. Playground is closeish to an unfenced dam so supervision is required. Theres even a bird-hide!!Check out the Parkrun every Saturday - 5km, casual atmosphere... free! Always handy.

Awesome play equipment and it always very tidy. Has plenty of riding and running pathways and a dog park close by. Needs better access to drinking water though.
