Gorky Park Museum in MoscowVisited on 7/10/2019It is not in our groups itinerary to visit the museum. We come pass this imposing entrance gate of the museum, before we go to the restaurant near the river bank.In fact the grandiose colonnaded arch serves as the entrance to Gorky Park, too.After our dinner, followed by the river cruise, we pass the gate again, but now, the lights are turned on. It looks just magnificent. For a moment, I thought I was transported to ancient Egypt or somewhere in Athens or Rome.

Park is beautiful but not comfortable for walk after a rain. Water pools here and there block alleys and boards mounted on stairs for wheelchairs are very slippery.

Love the park, but the museum was rather lacking... tried to got to the rooftop but was closed. Came back the next day and the computer wasnt giving tickets, so we gave up.

Going to Moscow means going also to Gorky park of the Scorpions! The biggest one there where each friday you can dance salsa and other styles. Very recommended.

A must visit, better on the weekdays with less people. Prepare for a day of all of the outdoor activities you can think of. Very beautiful and scenic. And certain nights, they have salsa dance nights. Just have google translator app just Incase.
