vulica Frunze 2, Minsk, Belarus, Horad Zhodzina
Iconic park with sports & recreation facilities including an ice rink & open-air theater, plus cafe.
One can hardly call the park a barrier-free environment for people with disabilities. Many paths actually lead to a dead end, as it is very difficult to overcome steps for wheelchair users. The constructed concrete high-rise office building has cut off the view of the beautiful part of the city, so from the park it remains only to enjoy the view of the numerous windows on the opposite bank of the river.
Really nice place..very beautiful and can spend a whole day in it..perfect place to visit
My fiancee is from Belarus. Im from USA. Im trying to learn about the country. Seems to be beautiful.
It doesn’t matter how old you are, enjoy and laugh like a kid and baby
Nice peacefuy park for relaxation and entertainment
Its like Disneyland in the middle of Minsk; I mean If you love to queue that is. Queue to buy tickets (no refundsqueue for the ride (no thrills). Cant recommend it, enough!
Nice and peaceful park in the very heart of Minsk. Consist of two areas -- amusements for kids and adults (quite old and poor, I must admitand green walking area which is lovely. Theres a lot of fast food points here and there, but they are not bright is terms of service and quality.
Visited the park and childrens attractions.
Good park (not too bignear the city center. There are attractions and little shops, as well as toilets. There is also a panoramic wheel.
Beautiful natural park, a very safe place to hang arround and enjoy golden time in a tranquil environment
Country - Belarus, city - MinskA place on earth where they do not know the price of freedom.Violence, threats, oppression - this is just a small list of what is happening in Belarus. Not a safe environment for tourists! You are not protected by the police and you have no hope of anyone helping you.I categorically do not recommend traveling to Belarus !!!
A very pleasant and melancholic place for walking with children. In summer, there are attractions and a few cafes. Squirrels jump in the trees, many ducks swim in the river.
Its a nice place for kids... Equipment there are pretty old but maintained good.. The 54m Ferris wheel was the only thing that interested me..
There are lot of things we should be thankful for...The wonderful scenery of natural resources such as green trees and green field that you would surely love to see are truly fascinating and eye catcher that you would definitely ask to come back again and again...you would enjoy the view of love around you..sweet couples, family get together and many more.. I just cant wait for the come back...❤❤❤
Good location to rest in the center of the noisy city. There are quiet places and a part with attractions.
Nice place to go with kids
As a kid I was always inspired by music. The band Scorpions Wind of Changed always stuck with me as I grew up. Who knew I would meet my soulmate and love of my life and she would be from Minsk!
There are always happy kids here and its peaceful, with a river running alongside. In the summer there riding attractions and formal gardens, but theres always something to see.
Too soviet. Expected more, but still had fun.
Nice and calm place to walk at or chill a bit out on a bench. Sadly, pretty small to walk for a long time, tho.
Nice park to wander around, real relaxing and calm vibe here. Love the green in the middle of the city.
Went in April 2019 -loved the view of the Russian White House across the river from hereThe lake was still frozen - found the nicest dog friendly eatery, then walked back up the river to central moscow - a grand day out..and Really cool 1930s public loo
Beautiful, absolutely beautiful, great restaurant and helpful staff, we went in the April time and the lake was still frozen over. Great place and a beautiful view
A nice place. Some attractions and a small river in there
Great park, no smoking, very clean.
Some parts of the park require reconstruction. But in the whole, this is the best park in Minsk, in my opinion.
Beautiful park with lots of activities, good for all ages .
It would be a mixed review based on feelings and emotions and real facts about this amusement park. First, it’s a very old vista point and amusement park, built far in USSR times, that’s why it can look and feel outdated and like it needs to be renovated. It’s true, but... it can make you feel as a small boy or girl and remember when you visited such parks long time ago (I mean people who are 30+ old :)). It has great park of trees and plants and you can just walk and relax, it’s not a place to try modern roller coasters but it’s a place just to relax without any obligations :)
Good park. Nice and quiet
Not a very good place on workdays, a good one on weekends. Bringing children there will be a good option. But in general, this park is ok.
If you are going to this park, please, like I said in another review of mine, go onto the Ferris Wheel. BUT go ride it on one of those opened seats!... Its breathtaking and not as bad or scary as it seems. Youll be proud afterall and it is definitely worth 2.00€... 😎
Lovely park with plenty of activities for your children to partake in. Park is very safe, very clean and well managed. If you are in Minsk, pay a visit. Had a ride on the big wheel. The views of the city are fantastic as you get higher up.
Its my favorite park from my Children ages... Its good location (in crossing of ways from Park to Parks and Riversidesmany places for fun in any ages))and Planetarium for Watching there Romantic Spherical Video about Stars and Planets:)Amazing!
Will highly recommend this park for families with kids: lavish green, plenty of activities to do, variety of rides to take and street food kiosks to choose from.
Famous place visited with family this year. A lot of entertainments: dancing halls, attractions, orchestra, boats, ... Good atmosphere.
Minsk is one of the most relaxing capitals in Europe, no stress at all. This park make Minsk more relaxed. I tried the Ferris Whell as provided a magnificent view over Minsk. I took the outside alternative, instead of a gondola. Then I leaved the wheel a guy asked me about "what country"? - the most common question I receive abroad. - I answered Sweden, the guy replied he had lived in Malmö.
A world class park where you can enjoy a placid stroll, luscious trees, weekend festivals, water-cars, good food, or some peculiar translations to english. Around Christmas Det Moroz is in a cabin, and unlike Santa, he puts up a show with dancing, singing, and riddles.
This is a wonderful park for families. Lots to see and do all under beautifully shaded Belarusian trees. On the weekends the park becomes alive with hundreds of visitors and tourists alike. Many great sounds, tasty foods, and attractions to keep you busy for the whole day. During weekdays it is more quiet but always filled with the sights and sounds of kids playing. I come here and feel safe with my family as police are always around.
My first Gorki Park ever. Was a nice place to hang out at. Very clean and not too crowded on a working day in summer. Watch out for moderately rogue cyclists though! They approach you at great speed. Have a nice kvass and enjoy the sunshine.
Very good place to spend a day or two with kids! Nice playgrounds and slides, various attractions, a few cafes and lots of tracks for walking in a very green park!
The park is for children, so youll find different carousels there. You can attend a planetarium to watch a movie on sphere screen or just walk around and enjoy an island of green inside the city.
quite and beautiful place near the river with some attractions for children
Very beautiful and serene garden! I particularly liked the singing fountain ⛲ great place to visit in summer!
nice park to walk in. near the city centre. in the winter is there the house of Santa. in the summer many things for children.
Approaching Gorky Park you would expect some grandiose buildings as per Soviet traditions. However once by the river flowing through the park you see nice cafeterias on the bank.the surroundings are clean and well kept.the park is quite expansive and provide a good walk under the trees. There really is not to much to see, apart from the birdlife in the summer, but it is still a pleasant part of the city. The Ferris wheel was a must see! it sad that it doesnt work in period october-april.
Nice place not as big as moscow one but great place to rest. Smoking & alchole are strictly forbidden. Foreigners usually miss the signs at the entrance.
The best part there is nature. Its a wonderful place to walk alone or with friends in any season. And the squirrels are so cute there!
quite a big and a bit old theme park nicely melt into a park itself, very nice place to go on a summer day, lots of young people go there without kids just to have fun, and also lots of families with kids have this place as one of their favourite ventures :)
Great place to have a rest with kids. And with grown up friends... and alone as well. Green zone. Rides. Cafes. River boats. Everybody will find something up to their liking.
Excellent place to summer joy...Include a kind of fun fair...As far as i know, all attractions work till 21.00...I strongly recommend...Transit: Metro Station "площадь Победы"
