Gorillas Golf Hotel in Byumba

Okay. Not worth the money though. The hotel is quite dated and there is never any warm water if its not sunny outside (solar heated water). The WiFi is spotty at best.

Hello everyone I am proud to sharing you us Gorillas Golf hotel is well organized due to providing very nice services Best room is filled with amenities , and there is delicious meals, Parking side , Gardening, WIFI 📶....

The breakfast menu options were quite limiting and the staff werent very friendly. The rooms were decent for the price, but could be better given its former glory

The hôtel looks nothing like the pictures. Be sure to check it out in person before booking. We only stayed one night and had to find another hôtel the next morning :(

Was picked up from the airport by two friendly guys in a cozy van.Arrived a very clean building with lots of green grass and plants. This happened late in the night but the lighting was 🔥🔥🔥.The food at Gorillas was amazing. Was called at different times of the day to ask if I was ready to eat...Not forgetting the fact that these guys work 24/7. I arrived at 1AM😂😂😂, crazy hungry thinking of how long my night was gonna be...but...I was told I could order food at that time of the night. I did🙈🙈😂Gorillas is ✨✨✨✨✨

THIEVES! Spent 2 weeks in this hotel, and the laundry staff stole from me, i had $250 stolen, Earings, Two Hats and 5000 Rwandan Francs. The laundry cleaner wouldnt shut tight close after cleaning and this one time whem i came back the door was open and no one was inside... I reported this incident and the receptionist told me off, i requested to speak to the manager countless times but the thick lady with a scar on the forehead told me off and never even bothered. THE ONLY PERSON WHO SEEMED helpful was the Light skinned receptionist who was very calm, humble amd was inquisitive to het to the bottom of it all, he even took my details so as to get back to me afyer i was gone of there were any new developments . This hotel dosent offer complimentary shuttle services for a 4 star. My entire experience in Rwanda was awful because of this hotel.For me the entire Rwanda is canceled ever again because of this. So i urge yall ttying to book with this hotel to reconsider, its really hard and emotionally draining to loosed sometging you have worked so hard for and having to be told off. Book else where.

Easily accessible place, great customer care and delicious food

Serene environment, lovely view (at least from my room). Large, spacious rooms.It was quite neat, grounds were well kept.The food must have been okay, I would have remembered if it was exceptionally good or bad.Im not so sure about the staff as I cant seem to remember my opinion of them (maybe they are lost in a long blur of hotel stays lol cant keep up with those! Maybe time happened to that memory).

The staff were really nice, but service was slow and the rooms all smelled dank as if they had been left locked for ages. The gym smelled of insecticide. I dont think people ever open the doors or windows to air the place. The internet service is poor here and the TV has only 5 channels.

The Hotel is in the centre of activities in Kigali, and they have good service.

With the rate that the hotel charges, I think some things like airport drop off and pick up should be complementary. Front line staff should be a bit more warm. Restaurant staff were however great. Jessica you are just amazing. I think the hotels that charge less do a much better job than Gorilla golf hotel. I stayed at the branch at Nyarutarama for 4 nights. Nothing extraordinary for the rates they charge.

The location is awesome you have an endless view of hills upon hills (but than again it is Rwanda). The TV channels are pathetic so there will be no catching up on your series or anything decent for that matter. The staff are help and you will get lots of smiles from them (lool). Oh English is not commonly spoken so be patient. 🐫

If all you want is a clean room and a hot meal, then the hotel is fine. Their breakfast options are limited, and their room numbering scheme is confusing.
