Beautiful location on Lake Victoria. The English pan-fried fish was good, but their tartar sauce was more like coleslaw.

Perfect place for perfect people.Thinking of totally chilling out,Gorettis is the place.located in entebbe along the shores of lake victoria.Their pizzas are something else, including their fine food and services.Nor forgetting the the electric weekend cultural dance troup performance that wont leave you the same.Therefore dont miss out on this weekend entertainment.The fish needs to be tried out as well.so go visit when in entebbe.

Simple order pancetta medium size Pizza and fruit salad.asked for Ice-cream or topping on fruit salad he said he would call 📞 with answer.1.No call back.2.Overflowing disposable container arrived,no disposable cutlery lid off as too full juice drenched pizza box.3Fruit salad with seeds.4.Pizza was touch oily.Menu prices not current different over phone .1st time customer. Whoops 🤭.......

Gorettis main claim to fame is its beachfront location (although it has lost much of that since the lake waters have risen). However its a cool shaded spot and ideal for a refreshing drink after meeting family from the airport.Service was pretty poor and we had to hunt down the waiter more than once. Lovely ambiance. Pizza took a while but it was worth the wait. With all the Crispy bacon and stretchy cheese. Crispy base . Wow. I mossed this place but was good stop over in entebbe

The food was good but service was quite slow, even without being fully booked. Apart from that there was a really nice view

The location next to the lake is amazing, but also the food is top. I can recommend the avocado salad. It was fantastic.

WONDERFUL place to eat Tilapia! The staff are helpful, service impeccable, the setting UNMISSABLE, with view across the vast lake, where fishermen throw their circular nets with skill. You can order your meal ahead so theres no waiting, if you have limited time; though the lake view gives endless pleasure! Dont miss out on their chili sauce!

The service was once good but not anymore. On weekends it takes between 1 to 2 hours for order to be ready, and on week days it still wont be ready below an hour.The taste of food is also not consistent on some days you will get a good stake and on other days you get the worst stake you can ever have.They dont accept card or mobile payments... only cash!The waiters always mess up the orders. You will definitely not miss seeing a guest quarrelling with a waiter any day.

The lovely lakeside location makes this restaurant worth returning to. The 1.5 hour wait between ordering and receiving the food, and the slightly above average food quality itself were underwhelming. Staff were very friendly.

Very well received the staff is even speaking french. Food is great. Lots of birds to see while eating.The view on thé lake is wonderful and you can relax watching the Fischer Guy on their boat with their net.

Cheese on the pizza is super substandard, dry, and crispy instead of being flavorful, stretchy and cheesy. For the price you pay, its really substandard pizza especially the cheese and it gets super cold and you dont get a real invoice. Written paper 📄 receipt. Pretty dissapointing. Please use real cheese.

Located under palm trees right on lake Victoria shore, the cool lake breeze blowing with sand underfoot and the constant sound of waves lapping against the water break. Great place to relax or even just read a book.

Their roasted fish was delicious...the lake view is magnificent. The sound of the Victoria waves was soothing .customer service was on point

Special occasions, Romantic, Scenic view, Large groups, Bar sceneNice view, good food, beers and live music are all good with beautiful setting.The atmosphere is very nice, the tables are under trees full of fairy lights and there are candles on the tables. The waiters are very friendly and service is good.

What I liked most about this place was how peaceful and calm it was. Next to the beach,with a nice surrounding and it isnt packed and very noisy like majority of the places nearby.Their food is nice and serving time is actually fast. In 15 minutes the food was ready.The place has a nice setting too. Good for a nice Sunday getaway with your family or friends to go and relax

With tables situated directly on the beach, this is a great place to visit if you want to watch the sunset and listen to the waves. The food itself was pretty good - we had the avocado salad on the side and shared a large pizza with mozzarella, onions and olives. The passion juice was delicious!

Effin Delicious. Perfect on the water scenery, and best pizza I have ever had in Uganda, hands down. Move over, pizza hut. And, excellent timing. Didnt wait long at all.

It has a delicious pizza. I bought a vegetarian pizza. Every Friday evening they have entertainment of cultural dance. Today was Rwanda’s cultural dance.

Its a cool place. One of my favourite. Lots of cool lake breeze, friendly and professional staff and most importantly, delicious pizza (Tropicana being my most preferred). Unfortunately, youll find lots of dry leaves on table and will regularly be interrupted by fall debris off trees due to mother nature.

Give it a 5 Star rating for location - that is fantastic - love the backdrop, the beach and garden feel of the place, a 4 star for the meals, excellent - service - a two star at most - especially meal delivery time...if you have to catch a plane, this is not the place. Used to bring clients here, they loved the setting, liked the food, but hated the wait time and found service to be lacking, now take them elsewhere but miss the setting

Great place to relax on the beach of Lake Victoria with drinks and food. However, dont think about ordering food after sunset unless you want a little extra protein in your food. The hordes of lake flies attracted by the lights will ensure that some of them will dive bomb into your food. This restaurant should have a large standing room screen tent area for people wishing to eat after sunset.

this is a super awesome place right on the beach of lake victoria. our pizza was great and we didnt have to wait long for it. the only thing I didnt enjoy was the swarms of moths that showed up after dark. they were attracted to light and were all over the table.

The grilled fish is amazing!!as well as the fresh juice. On Friday evenings,they have cultural dances.

Very good place for hangout at the bank of Victoria Lake. The environment is very comfortable and energizing specially. Food is ok and prices are reasonable too. Youll specially love the environment during and after sunset as the lake look beautiful. They also provide some candles after dusk which makes the experience more cozy. Theres some scope to improve the service standard also, like the seating arrangement with plastic chairs and tables really doesnt go with the mode.

Good view to lake Victoria and overall atmosphere tempted us to go there. But thats about it.First they insisted that wed leave our half empty bottle of water at the gate desk. Finally we were allowed to take it with us but to keep it all the time in that backpack. Then we ordered 3 beers and waited for 15 minutes but nothing arrived. Lady in a neighbor table told she had waited for her drinks for 30 minutes. I wonder when the food would have been served... So we left. Prices were also not friendly. 35 to 40 000 ugx for a pizza, 7000 ugx for local beers.

Terrible experience. After the drunk(?boss tried to chat me up, he sat behind my friend and me, then abused his staff by swearing and threatening to beat them up although they had done nothing wrong. Service was poor and food was expensive. Would never go here again where they treat their minimum wage employees with such foul disrespect. A huge disappointment as this was my friends first time dining at a "nice" restaurant.

Would be 3 1/2 if I could do it. Beautiful setting on the beach, breezy and romantic. One pizza went down very well, but the other wasnt so great. Good and fast service. Definitely a good spot.

For the country, this place definitely spendy. The first pizza we ordered had so much chili on it that it was inedible (and we both like spicy food). We had to order a second, which was tasty. The wait staff had to be flagged down for everything although it wasnt busy. Meanwhile, you cant beat the view (or the pour of the wine).

Amazing beach-side scenery and conveniently close to Entebbe airport. Ordered the whole tilapia and thoroughly enjoyed it.

The fish and pizza are good and you get to sit very close to the lake. But...the service was horrible and it took forever to get food and drinks. The main sitting area is a small strip on to shore of the lake.
