Gopal Locho in Surt

Gopal locho has many options for surati food and I was surprised to see many other options available here.One suggestion to the owners- the please is not very clean and hygin, your test is excellent at the same time outside place where we eat, is not very clean, well done otherwise- best place for surti test.

Clearly if you wanted to have best locho find any another place , because this one sucks. Not worth of money and taste is below average...

Its famous..... But test is average like others Locho shop... And more costly compared to other Shop.... Nothing special.... So much varieties ... But all food test like same... Only cheese , Butter test in every dish....

I ordered a garlic butter locho and it was an amazing variety of locho. A bit costly as compared to other locho providers but worth a shot.

This place take extra money for parcel but hesitate to do it rightly, we took khamni for guests in mumbai and informed the same, still the person on counter and staff were least bothered about packing it with chutney and sev. This is what arrogance looks like when success hits quick. I’ll recommend you to eat and not take parcel. Worst service.

Enjoyed Famous locho of Surat at one of the famous joint Gopal locho.These guys have grown from selling this dish on cart to well furnished self service outlets in the prominent atea near Surat station. The sucess factor for this growth is surely the famous dish combined with their service attitude with smiling place..They have amplified the basic locho beyond and above Surat boundary .. they have different flavoured locho from basic. Oil , butter, Mexican, cheese , garlic etc... Whats more intersting they have made locha burger. Loch Sandwich 🥪😋Other dish I tried is idada.. its some close cousin of Gujarati white dhokla... Little less puffy , having more rice n less dal in batter than dhokla and idli...thinner than dhokla.Both these dishes were served with green but sweet chutney garnished with thin Sev and accompanied by onions and chillies...Next time Ill try my hand on continental locho...i.e. Mexican or Cheese...or may be burger or sandwichA must have dish to your bucket list for Gujarat visit especially if it is Surat...This place also serve famous Gujarati khandavi, then some varieties of Samosa like dal samosa, panneer Samosa and few more...Its self service counter, they also offer take away, and some ready to cook packed batter of locho...There is intersting story how this dish got invented accidentallyPlace is clean but still can be improved further to have my 5* ratings

Very very poor service. The person serving the deliveriables was behaving in such a way as he was obliging us. Other counter staff was very much courteous and helpfull.

Good place, great raste, but a bit costly...They have ready to make/ Instant packets as well, the image is of instant Khaman...

Surat is the hub of Locho, a local delicacy made of Chickpea Flour with added Ginger and Chilli paste, and other masalas. Gopal is very famous place for surati farsan such as Locho, Idada, Sandwich, Pavbhaji, Pizza, etc.Gopal also provide ready to eat food packets which can be cooked in few minutes. Their Locho packet is a must have and it could be sent to foreign also. I must recommend any person visiting Surat to come here to taste Locho. Their Chilli pickle has a great taste.

One of the best locha joints in Surat. Serve varied type of lochos Garlic, chinese, tandoori, butter cheese and so on. It also serves Sandwich, pizza, pav bhaji burgers Iddara idli etc.One must try its Cold coco its better than the famous cold coco joints

Tried loccho for the very first time, but definitely it was really delicious. I have also tried their casata loccho, but it was really delicious and impressive, new taste and great fussion. The lady manager really managed everything thing really well. You can also try their coco and tea and get few ready to eat satches of loccho for your home

Yum and awesome.. You will enjoy lip smacking Gujarati food here from Locho to Dhokla, etc. Give a try once if you are in Surat. I just loved the food and the restro. Owner is too polite cooperative. Its located at Surat railway station. Gopal locho is one of the best Locho restro in India so dont miss a chance to taste authentic Gujarati food which is very popular. You will get all items at reasonable prices. Prepaid and self service system is there.

Good varieties of surti snacks with many international tastes touch to the local food. Service is quite fast. Its bit conjusted due to crowding. Cleanliness needs to be worked upon.

Awesome food, i tried sev khaman and there iconic dish butter lacho which was good. They have a traditional gujrati taste in their food. Also too many options to choose from.

3 minutes from the station.A must have, no trip to Surat is complete without having a Lochho at Gopals Lochho...Try the butter and cheese lochho or if you like garlic, have the one with freshly minced green garlic...

I felt the service very slow. Getting a token for an order took so long.A single person was handling multiple tasks. System is not to the mark as per the their popularity.Price is also higher side.

Nam bade Darshan Chhote.Sirf nam bada hai. Price wise, taste wise, per plate quantity wise, this place s very very poor.Serving staff behaviour is rude. Counter person who collect money and give token, his behaviour for treating customer is very very bad.I would not suggest to go this place for locho.If you want real Surati locho, best place is JALARAM LOCHO, Gajera circle.

Taste of cream and onion loccho was so bad. You can try any other flavour apart from this.

The name "Gopal Loccho" itself indicates that it is famous for a typical Surti dish "Locho". It is located in old Surat city area " Manchharpara- Haripara" near railway station. If you dont know , what is Locho? Dont ask for explanation, but go and experience the test of it in Surat. "Gopal Locho" has risen from single item Locho to todays status. Today they have multiple branches in the city and they are serving many more popular items for quick biting apart from Locho. Consistency in test and quality pull people here for many years. Ive visited many times before but given one star less because they need to improve ambience and cleanline. You must visit atleast once to experience their test.

Gopal Locho - very near to the Railway station - this is the place frequented by visitors from All over India - especially those who are hear to visit the humongous textile markets. Within just 30 minutes of my visit to this store i could hear customers speaking in atleast 5 different languages from all over India.

Good place to stop by. But this place is located in narrow street so its hard to find. So basically it was above average place if you want breakfast. Ive tried their plain locho, but at given price point I was expecting enough quantity for breakfast but it was not sufficient. Food quality and cleanliness was up to the mark so props to them. I was blown away by their menu because they are serving different kinds of locho. If you are brave enough you should try it and there were other options for snacks also. You should try it once.

i tried green garlic locho from their menu, but it was not as i expected . it had lil amount of green garlic on it. was not bad but the quantity was v. little ..not worth for ₹70 . I think its costly and they have small portion according to the amount which we pay. also i think street stall would serve much tastier and cheap lochos compared to this.

This outlet is very near to railway station.Always budding with foodies early morning.They’re serving wide varieties of Locho now. It’s their specialty.Spicy Locho was little bit on spicier side with green chilly chutney.Lasaniyo Locho was with Garlic Chutney and was very tasty.Kasatta locho was italian style baked with cheese and herbs.Sev khamni is my favourite dish here. It’s sweet and smoked garlic flavour is distinctive. Can eat this all day.

Visited on 31st July 2019. Had Green Garlic Locho (Rs 70and Sev Khamani (Rs 25). Pics attached. Both were very good, tasty. The chutney and chilly pickle served with the above were very tasty too. Place is clean. Staff polite. Opened the store when I reached at 6.30am :-. Recommended.

Good place for snacks with lots of items. Generally famous for locho, but other items like vada pav, samosas are there.I ordered Italian Locha. The price was on higher side but it worth. You will love the taste.The place very neat and clean. Generally crowded in the morning, but not that much in the evening.*The green chutni was nice.*Masala green chili was too good.Would highly recommend to visit at least one time.

Strictly ok. No real great shakes to endure the attitude shown by the servers one faces standing for long in self service line. They treat you as if they are doing a huge favor.

Superb place for foodies. These people have created a fast fod type joint with multiple innovative varieties of locho, Khandvi, dhokla and many More Gujarati dishes. The taste is awesome. Should go whenever in Surat. Prices are ok, may be locating this place could take you a while.

Great taste!!! They have maintain the taste and quality. But not the price. Its a bit high than any other eatery. Locho variety here will astonish you and will baffle you with its taste. For cold Coco, better to pick some other place as you can have delicious one at a price lower to their. Rest, "Locho", you cant compare it with any other eatery.🤤🤤🤤
