Kids love it here. Saves you a trip to Ayr 🏖 saves you waiting in traffic 🚥 kids spend the whole day here building sandcastles, playing on swingpark, chasing the geese, climbing the rocks. Playing on their scooters. Having a family picnic. Best of all eating ice cream from the ice cream van that sits in the car park. Great ice cream BTW.

Goose Beach is set within the grounds of Strathclyde Country Park, near the Motherwell/Airbles Road entrance of the park; it is a quiet secluded bay where geese, ducks and other waterfowl are known to gather. There is a grassy area for the walking of the dogs, etc, or for a general amble about. Tables too - handy for picnics or taking a seat, reading the paper and relaxing in the heady fresh air of this vibrant area of Lanarkshire Parkland
