Coming from Cali I’ve had a hard time getting a burger as good as back home but I can straight up say it’s the best burger I’ve had in Australia and just as good as some of best burgers back home, no joke it was bomb… other burger places take note

Well this place is a bloody ripper of the place. I had myself to works burger and I really enjoyed it. The meso had some veggie burger and she also enjoyed that. We went on a weekday lunch and it was a little bit busy but we didnt wait too long for the food. They lose one star for the chip. It just wasnt that great.

Its called Good Grub Shack and it is. The burgers are excellent, they are a bit more expensive than your regular burger take away but they are certainly worth it. The burgers dont collapse or fall out the sides when you eat them and they are huge. If your appetite will let you their hot chips match their burgers. Light fluffy potato inside light brown and crispy outside. Just the way chips ought to be. Try them, youll find them very satisfying.

This place has the best burgers, i had the Jack burger which was awesome, and the mrs had a salad wrap, and loved it so much shes tried making same at home since but its not the same. We cant wait to get back to the shack.

Greeted with a warm smile and welcoming staff, they took my order promptly and efficiently and after a short wait my food was ready. I was pleasantly surprised by the large size and fullness of my chicken burger. It was all an absolute delight to devour. Happy I stopped by for a bite 😊👍🏼

A personal hero of mine, Hank Scorpio, famously said "its the little things that make up life", and with that in mind good grub shack made my day.The plain works burger (no pineapplewas expertly wrapped so that none of the succulent ingredients within had any chance of falling out, while being simultaneously easy to eat. The seared crust on the patty was perfectly contrasted by the juicy meat within. The generous serving of beetroot, bacon and egg sat atop a foundational layer of shredded iceberg lettuce, which served to absorb any juices that threatened to compromise the structural integrity of thr perfectly toasted turkish(ishbun.When you get all the small things perfectly right it adds up to one fantastic burger.5/5 would smash again.

Amazing quality food - the burgers are enormous though (Im not exaggeratingso beware your tummy will feel like exploding when done!Expect a good 15-20min wait in peak times during tourist months but the wait it worth it and the service always with a smile.

Absolutely shocking service from the manager, was told all chicken breast was crumbed there, ordered a tender wrap and the tender was rectangle and processed. When going back to explain i thought all chicken was home crumbed the manager gave the worst attitude and said i should have asked if it was, though it says it on the menu. I told her i didnt want a refund i just want to change it and she told me that it cost her business money that i didnt eat wrap then she charged me an extra $5 for a burger that cost the same amount as the wrap, to think when asking these people the healthier option and they recommned the wrap and it ends up being processed is disgusting, and the fact that the attitude and customer service was pathetic is wrong. Also handling cash and handling food without washing your hands is filthy. Would never go back again nor recomend this place.

Except the longwait, we truly enjoy their fish cocktails, sweet chilli chicken wrap and chicken parmagiana burger. The portion was sooo big we were unable to finish it all. Tasty!

A good variety of satisfying food.Top burgers & burger range.Best bacon & egg burgers in the twin towns.High quality coffee.Very pleasant staff.Any people with an attitude problem leave it outside the shop.If you have to wait a few minutes for your order to be finalised,it is worth the wait!

I love buying food from this take away/eat in. Well cooked and reasonably priced, it includes vegetarian and vegan options, which is GREAT!! They also do a great thick shake. It has a few large tables inside and some small wooden tables outside. Outside may not be everyones favourite as it on the main road but it is only one minute to the lakeside and two minutes to the Rockpool, which is where we go to ear ours. Weve always had good ,friendly service even when they are super busy. It may be challengingfor those in wheelchairs toaacessthe shop front but if you rang ahead and ordered, you could pick up at the side door. Parking right outside can be an issue during holiday season but if you drive through the bottle shop next door you can park around the back. Depending on the time of day you may be able to walk through one of the other shops back to the main street or go back through the bottle shop. Worth it, especially if you are sick of the same old, same old.

Good quality food, can get a bit busy so be prepared for a wait. Serving sizes are generous.Plain burger was good, nice paddy if unspiced.Fish from the fish and chips was a bit average.Chips were ok.

Terrific roadside burger joint. Something for the whole family. Only knock is no public toilet. Do yourself a favour and grab a bite if you are in the area. Amazing after a weekend camping at the lakes or a day at the beach. Highly recommend.

Really thought that would be a 5 stars place, Location wise and menu wise the place has all the potential to be a hidden humburger heaven.However, we were a bit disappointed by the quality of execution.The patties where very thin, over cooked to the level of being dry, and lacked flavor.The bun was great but too big and with the large amount of veggies (generally a good thingin the bun I had to strip the patties out to actually taste them.Sweet potato wedges were great!!I would still stop here again bacause of lack of other options and the very cool location.

Authentic Aussie burgers.Blink and youll miss this little side-of-the-road shack, on The Lakes Way through Bungwahl to Forster.I had the Plain Works - slightly toasted sturdy bun, true blue meat pattie, onion, tomato, beetroot, lettuce, egg, bacon, pineapple & BBQ sauce. So so sooooo good! Husband had The Jack - beef pattie, bacon, cheese, egg, lettuce, tomato, beetroot, onion & mayo.Large chips are a mountain of crispy potato goodness.Definitely stop in if you are in the area. Absolutely worth it!

Located right next to our camping site, this place is a much needed break from instant camping food lol! Very generous serving for the price and good quality burgers! Absolutely recommended if you’re looking for food in the middle of nowhere. Be ready to wait longer than usual as the kitchen is (almosta one man show. As much as I love the ladies who served us and the burgers, I won’t recommend the coffee unfortunately.

Such a cute little takeaway stop. Food was delicious and included vegan, vegetarian & gluten free options. While we were there the lady kindly spoke to the locals which she knew by name and order. Great food, kids activities and amazing atmosphere. Definitely something to visit
