Great hamburgers and a good pickle bar. Been going there for years and never disappointed

We visited in July 2019 on our vacation from England. We’ve never been in a place like this. Goldies is legit Americana. The lady that served us was an absolute legend. She was friendly, funny and to the point. The food was just amazing and arrived promptly. When it came time to order the desert our lady told us we could have the chocolate cream pie and that’s it. We could have had apple pie if we’d been there the week before but the lady that used to make the pies died and the new lady was only making chocolate cream pie. I’m glad we had the chocolate cream pie because it was PERFECT! Everything about this place was perfect for a couple of English lads on their holidays. So much so that we are trying to work out how and when we can come back just so we can go back to Goldies! I hope they stick around and keep doing what they’re doing because they’re doing it right. Including the chocolate cream pie! 😋

The pickle bar is great. I love this place, because it is quiet and you can have a conversation with your guest. The burger was delicious.

Havent been in a long time. They changed their french fries (no longer like homemade burger was still as good as I remember. Server was super nice

Consistent attention to detail, turning out meat to order, hot and tasty.

The atmosphere was very dark inside plus their mashed potatoes and gravy was horrible. The chicken fingers were good. Didnt care for the waitress that we had either.

Went later in the evening, a bit before closing. Food was very fresh & delicious, our waiter very friendly, no feeling about being rushed out of there at all. Place was nice & clean!

I eat here often and usually the food is excellent. this last time seemed that they forgot to season the meat on the grill before it was cooked. Just didnt have the flavor that I have come to associate with eating at Goldies

#1 Goldies and does it show! Burgers always taste great and the staff is always very attentive to the customers needs. Ive been tons of times usually for lunch with my father and its always fantastic and well priced! 10/10 def plan to continue going!

I always find it problematic to rate chains. I hope the reasons are obvious. Goldies is easily the best hamburger chain in the region. The biggest plus is their pickle bar. I have gone nearly zero wheat and low carb for my health and weight. For those you in my situation, burger places tend to be off your list, but Goldies has a nice.... old school name here: Salisbury steak. Ground beef, stuffed with onions. Yummy. This is a comfort food place. Staff and environment pleasant and casual. Not a place Id take a date, but absolutely co-workers for lunch or church group or quick grab a bite.

Good real hamburger. But, the real reason I go?.....Pickle Bar!! You gotta get a small bowl of pickles when youre there or you have NOT been to Goldies.

Sometimes I forget what a really good chargrilled hamburger is like with so many places for fast food. Such good burgers. Excellent service. Restaurant was clean. We will return.

Not as good as I remembered. The burger was on the dry side and very dark in the resteraunt. My nephew enjoyed his open faced chili cheese burger and the pickles are still yummy.

I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of meat and flavor of the specialty burger that I ordered. It was absolutely delicious and cooked exactly as I ordered it.At Goldies, they have a condiments bar where you select whatever you wish to dress your burger with so you are not delivered a soggy mess & dont have to worry about them getting your order wrong.The wait staff are very congenial & professional with a high degree of attendance so we were very happy with them as well. We came in at lunch.The server got into a conversation with a friend at another table and forgot about us.Then, she took our drink order for the second time, remembered that we had already ordered them, took our food order, finally.She then brought out the wrong drinks.Our burgers, ordered medium, came out well done.We then had to wait for another conversation with the same friend before she would bring us our check.I gave a 2 star because the food, while overcooked, was delicious.

Unfortunately, this experience was a let down. We waited at the front for more than five minutes before being acknowledged while the shift leader/Manager continued to assist people that arrived after we did.Once seated, a server took our drink order then started a conversation with one of her regulars and forgot we were there. She even said she forgot us before getting back to our table.The food was acceptable in flavor with the exception of both double burgers (ordered mediumhaving a well done and medium rare burger.

My husband and I decided on burgers and a salad for lunch yesterday. I have been to the Goldie’s close to 31st and Harvard several times always a pleasant experience. Yesterday was the very opposite. When we walked we noticed it smelled old, but we stayed we walked to the podium that said wait to be seated which was next to the kitchen. We stood there several minutes as the kitchen staff could see us no one ever said one word. We waited a few more minutes then my husband went to find someone to seat us. As he approached the dining room this lady rudely tells him she will be with us in a minute then walks back into the dining room. Although 5 minutes doesn’t sound like a long time it felt like forever and for the old lady that was the hostess to be hateful and rude no smile no apology for the wait my husband and I decided to find an establishment that would appreciate our business.

I probably should try something new, but I always order the Country Burger. Its basically a hamburger patty with white gravy on top. Its very filling and its delicious. Just say YES TO GRAVY!

I love the burgers here, but the fries are ok at best. The onion rings are frozen, not homemade. Charles was an outstanding server, probably the best service Ive had anywhere in a few years.

Goldies was pretty good. You are allowed to pick out what you want on your hamburger. They are pretty well known for their pickles. There is quite a selection to choose from. Prices are not bad, service is very good.

Love their hamburgers...so juicy and cooked to order. Best Cole slaw Ive ever tasted, plus I really like their pickle bar.

Quality food at a reasonable price. They have a pretty good selection of burgers, appetizers, and chicken sandwiches, my favorite is the chicken club it is soooo delicious, I like they their pickle bar concept as well, you can put as many toppings as such as tomato slices as you would like.

First time to dine at Goldies at 51st and Lewis. Im new to Tulsa and like trying out local spots. They wont let you down if you want a delicious hamburger and onion rings! Marlene was my waitress and she was a delight.

Burgers and everything else is great, except the fries. When you serve sandwiches and steaks this good, why fail at the fries? They need fresh cut fries,curly qs or regular bu tneed to be fresh.

Got a mushroom swiss dinner. Was canned mushrooms and a square piece of cheese laid on top not melted. Very disappointing. Side of okra was cooked like I requested so give them that.

I love Goldies! Ive been going there since the 1970s . The Best Burger in Tulsa by far. Its so good I dont want to eat a burger anywhere else! I always order the special medium rare with fries, for real I have never ordered anything else ever! My family and friends have though and are always happy too. I think Goodies might be the only place left that can and will actually cook a rare burger. Ive been to all the locations and they are vary consistent. Oh yeah the pickle bar.. I love the bread and butter pickles, yummy!

Im from out of town, so my brother took me to experience what a pickle bar is. Interesting experience!The burgers were excellent. The pickle and mayo on a cracker thing is kinda wierd, but I can respect it!

Cant go wrong with Goldies. I always get the special with cheese. Cooked to they way you like your hamburger. The pickle bar is another one of my favorites. When I eat a hamburger this is my go to spot.

A great Tulsa tradition. Good food, good service. Seldom is there a wait. Plus they have a pickle and condiment bar. Pick your own and load it up. Burgers the way you want them.

Really great Burgers well seasoned all the fresh condiments you want tomatoes lettuce pickles onions. And Marlene our waitress was wonderful

Good food, good service just like I remember as a teenager. Baked beans add on werent worth the cost. They taste great but you get so little for the cost. Other than that I would definitely recommend for a good burger.

Goldie"s original burger, fries and coleslaw! Cooked to perfection and everything was fresh. Waitstaff was fast, efficient and friendly. Priced right too!

Not very good burgers I thought. I can do MUCH better than theirs on my grill or skillet. Very unimpressed. Way too much money for too inferior quality food.

Absolutely worst place and the customer service is horrible! When they got my order wrong they just argued about it! Will not be going back again! I like the other locations better, the food sucks and they have no idea how to cook, and the people are just rude, even when they make the mistakes! I wouldnt recommend this location at all. Thats probably why no one is ever there.

The original Goldie’s location! By far the best location, in my personal opinion. The burgers taste better here as opposed to another location. The service is usually spot on and the wait staff are very friendly. The pickle bar is always fresh and fully stocked.

LOVE their hamburgers. And cole slaw. And onion rings. And pickles. Every time I visit Tulsa, I make sure we go there.

I returned to Goldies after a 30 year hiatus. The food was good, pickle bar wonderful but needed updating and additional wait staff. Took too long to be seated.

They are a good burger restaurant. They have a vegetable bar and the service is usually good. They didnt accept my debit card and I had to pay cash, I believe their system was down at the moment. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

A place not fancy but down to earth. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger which was tasty and juicy with a hint of smoke flavor. Truly the best burgers around.

Goldies has THE best burgers...anywhere! True home grilled tenderness and taste. It has been my favorite burger for almost 30 years! And Ive had burgers all over the world!

ALWAYS FANTASTIC!! I dont know why they dont promote the steak dinner more. The BEST steak dinner. Juicy, tender. Perfectly seasoned & charred. Less than $18. for a 10 oz. beauty!

Food is always good, at reasonable prices. Service is never bad. Liz is a great server! We had her tonight, and she was excellent.

I got a ribeye, I like over seasoned so I thought it was delicious and cooked perfect, tender too. Mashed potatoes good too. The only thing weird was the pickle bar, not sure the reason behind it only a few things on it...but they were friendly, fast, & price was cheap I thought.

My husband likes Goldies. Weve gone there for decades. Needs updated inside. Pickle bar not as good now. Burgers still tastes great.

My favorite all time burgers next to my husbands (his taste just like them too but we dont have to go out lolBeen going there for 30 years now. Hasnt changed a bit, loved it then, love it now and the staff is always friendly.

Ive been here or ordered takeout over 10X since July 5, 2016. I dont agree with the slam on food or service. I live close. Its a regular go to. Cant beat the pickle bar, chicken, fried mushrooms and I like the steak. Be friendly and talk to staff they will bust their tail for you. Theyve always taken care of me. I have no complaints.

Goldies has the best cheeseburger in Tulsa but the service and cleanliness of this one has slacked for awhile. Floors are always sticky and the greeter is put out that youre coming in to buy food from this location. I have consistently ordered food from them for 10 years and it has continued on a downhill slide unfortunately.

The service was not good at all. The hostess seemed annoyed, the waiter wasnt very confident, and the food was not good. My first visit here and my husband and I walked out when they put a small salad with one bite of chicken in front of me. We will not be going back.

Goldies is awesome. This one is the best. If Im not mistaken, its the first one and the original. I grew up a few blocks away and have been eating here nearly 50 years. That should tell you a lot. I no longer live in Tulsa, but when I come through town, you better bet this is a required stop for me. Its just off the interstate, so its really convenient to stop for lunch or dinner. Im never disappointed. So good!

Once "Tulsas Finest" burger joint, now the punishment for not finishing the "whats for dinner?" conversation on the way home before all other establishments are behind us. Also a great way to refill the pickle jar when low. Think robot cafeteria, and you have Goldies. Seriously, the wait staff will probably never knew you were here.
