Golden beach noodles in Caloundra

This place is $5 more expensive for a combo box than my normal noodle place, had alot less noodles and meat as well. I feel like anyone whos given this place a good rating havnt eaten at any other decent noodle place.

Great takeaway dinner while on our Sunny Coast holiday. Got the Tom Yum Soup and Pad Thai - very yum! Grabbed a big bag of prawn crackers too, which gave us a great late night snack.

How is cheap bread coated with sesame seeds and fried classed as prawn toast? No hint of any prawns and certainly not worth what you charge. Never ordering from here again

Would not recommend, takeaway meals were very disappointing. Disproportionate amount of noodles, minimal vegetables and meat. Over priced and poorly executed.

One of the worst take away meals I have had. NOTHING like the description, nor what was pictured on the menu! Advertised as King prawns, was delivered with tiny frozen prawns. 1 piece of broccoli and 1 piece of cauliflower in the whole meal!! For the price totally unacceptable!

We agree with others it’s hit and miss with this place , tonight we ordered for 5 .. None of us were happy with our meals not even the kids ..it’s close and I want to support locals , but it was really yucky tonight . Very disappointed

Ordered the Honey Chicken and Singapore Noodles, the honey chicken was good although not really a good size for the price you pay ($22).I was so disappointed with the Singapore noodles (which I order often from other noodle placesit was so dry and practically all noodles and barely any meat or vegetables, pretty unhappy after spending $47 on 2 dishes.

Ordered lunch for myself and work colleagues and was not impressed. The meals were overpriced and didnt live up to the value. i had the teriyaki chicken and it was smeared in soy sauce and i couldnnt even finish it - too salty.Otheres said theirs was very dry and rubbery

I don’t think it’s good.I had wan ton noodle and pad thai.Both are bad..Especially, the dim sum in wan ton was terrible.

I found the fried rice to be to greasy. Not good at all.

Ordered a laksa. Doesnt taste like normal laksa. Flavour was bland. Veggies were old and limp: greyish broccoli, soggy carrots and beans. Seafood was slices of seafood flake and rubbery prawns.Spring rolls were not bad.

I ordered the bbq pork, veg and egg noodles. There was no veg, a little pork, lots of noodles. Sauce was really really sweet. Couldn’t eat it.

Tuesday 12 February 2019, 9pm. The BBQ pork noodles were too sweet and Sambal chicken noodles were bland. That being said, the food was hot, good serving size and the ingredients fresh. The guy who cooked for us did so when we arrived with four people 20 minutes before closing, even though he had cleaned up. Overall was alright.

Fresh ingredients that you can see, cooked right in front of you, really tasty and big serves. Great prices. Will be on our favourite list from now on.

Vincent is a great chef, an incredibly hard worker & a hospitable host. Lis is our favourite place to go for noodles (or rice dishes). We love the Nasi Goreng but have tried and enjoyed most things on Lis menu.Doc & Jill

We love Lis noodle and having been going there for a couple of years now. We have had several meals on the menu and can honestly say we have never had a bad experience. Lis staff are always friendly and helpful and the shop is immaculate. The food ingredients are so fresh. Our favourite is the No1 and the special fried rice is to die for! Very highly recommended

Good food at good prices, phone ahead as this is a popular choice on Friday and Saturdays nights. If you dont phone expect to wait a while but its worth it

Had the char key teow and the sweet and sour pork. It was okay. Food was prepared fresh and quickly. Good spot for take out as prices were around $12-$14 for meals. Register service provided by teenage girls whod rather be somewhere else.
