What a great Sports bar! Doesnt look like much from the outside, but is fa tastic. Friendly service. Excellent Bloody Marys.

Convenient Sports Bar, located just off Union Square. Table games and beers galore, on tap. Somewhat understaffed; order food at the bar and find a table.

Good welcome, waiter/waitress were friendly.Food was pretty good. Shrimp and Sweet potatoes were delicious.There was a long list of draft beer! Simply perfect!I found my favorite one: Blue Moon.

Great sports bar 🏈🍺🇺🇲 Good food and nice local beer & cider. The acoustic was not so nice, we had trouble hearing both the TV commentators and ourselves speaking. Other than that a great sports bar in downtown San Francisco.

There is no reason for me not to give this place five stars. They have a great list of craft beer, lots of games to play and an overall fun setting. Make sure you know to order at the bar.

Good place to get a beer if around union park, prices are reasonable and proximity to many things and easy to meet up spot with coworkers or friends. They have some games and stuff to play as well and service is good.

Supposed to be a Giants bar, but didnt have the game 😅😂. What a joke, invest on a Apple TV.I give 2 stars bcuz the beer was good and cold 👍. Go Dodgers!

Great sports bar… waitstaff was a little off for me! All and all .. Great! Appreciate management reaching back as you should. Our waitress seemed distracted and did not get some of the items we asked at the time of ordering .. again not a big deal just warranted the “Off” comment (apologize for not being more clear on my initial comment)

Super lively and fun sports-bar atmosphere near heart of SF Union Square area. Has lots of games and came here with friends often to play Pool. 5/5 would highly recommend.Special shoutout to the manager Jorge for fixing up the Pool table token processing when it took our money without dispensing balls :Great management and friendly bartenders!

Located close to union square, the golden gate tap room is an amazing place where to spend quality time having some drinks with your friends or enjoying watching one of the match in the huge screens. Lot of arcade games, pool there are not any possibility to get bored meanwhile you are having a lovely pint. The food menu has a variety of choices according to your starving rate. The service it was so nice everybody is so welcoming and kind. They were so attentative checking if we were need it something else but without being on top all the time. Having some drinks meanwhile playing pool just asking to refill the glass. Nothing else to ask feeling like being in my local bar. I went with some friends to san francisco for a couples of days and I recommend to stop there if you want to relax and have fun meanwhile you are enjoying your stay and friends. Finding something negative to say it can be it has lot of stairs, but a lot, the walls are decorated with posters makkng the climbing easier, to reach the first floor and maybe the drinks are spensive but taking in consideration how expensive the drinks are in San francisco, what are you paying average nothing that can surprised with.

Really great atmosphere and vibe. Had to go to bar to order. Bartender just looks at you til you order and makes it uncomfortable while you try to look at the menu. Food was ehhh. Super greasy fried food. I know its fried, but a tablespoon of grease on the plate is icky.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon and had to order everything from the bar. There was no real line and nobody knew who was next. Not great, but whatever. Beer selection was broad but not particularly great. Then waited about 40 minutes for my burger and it arrived cold and dry. Probably a good place for some pints and a game with friends. Sadly disappointing place for a decent meal and a great beer list. I wouldn’t go back.

Great sports bar. Numerous large TVs to catch a game and lots of arcades and sports games to play. Great choice of drinks and pub snacks/ meals. Food was lovely and very large portions. The atmosphere was brilliant. Well worth a visit if you are a sports fan and even if you arent

I thought the atmosphere was awesome. The server was super nice. The food runner brought our food to the table next to us and placed the food on the table. The people didnt touch our food, but they did speak over it. He then put the food back on the tray and turn and put everything on our table. No apology ! That just ruin the experience for me. I understand the mistake, but at least acknowledge it.

A traditional sports bar with a large range of beers. You will need to climb a few flights of stairs and after a fee careful on the way down. Food OK to go with beer but do not expect Gordon Ramsey styling.Great staff, big screens for sport with table games and a pool table

Fun place to get your alcohol and play some games. Quality games and prices. The beer selection is also solid. I really enjoy this place. Well worth a late night dive

THEY DO NOT PAY PPV UFC FIGHTS! Came here to watch the UFC fight, when the main card was about to start it was not shown only the prelims. Asked the staff and they said thats pay per view and they would not show. It was very disappointing as I went there only for the fights and no where close was showing so missed the event altogether. Other people were complaining about that too. Bar is ok with lots of options on taps and food was ok nothing special. They have kids playing around in the bar with the games.

Nice place to hangout and have a drink with friends. Very casual with activities. The staff was very friendly (including the bouncer at the door). I will definitely visit this place again if I am in the area.

Nice sports bar, we came here to watch Warrios-Mavs game. The atmosphere was nice, there is a lot of TVs, food and beer prices were ok.

A fun bar with a ton of games and TVs! We spend hours playing table shuffleboard and then did a quick few rounds of pop a shot and skeeball!

Fun spot with lots of beer on tap. Chips and guacamole was really tasty and good value. Was a great spot to watch the game and became the unofficial Oilers bar for game 7!

It was fine. It was hard getting bartenders to serve us, and we sat at the bar. I literally had tried to flag bartenders for about 15 minutes, and there were three of them behind the bar plus a waiter. It was 4:30, so happy hour but there were open seats at the bar as well so the lack of service was perplexing.

Classic sports bar vibe. Its huge, too. Chaotic environment, lots of screens for sports. They do have a large beer list but theyre limited to some pretty boring choices within each beer style. They all seemed mass produced brands, like the beer buyer just seems lazy.However, its a handy place to meet friends for a pint before seeing a show at August Hall.

Minor selection if IPas. Awesome atmosphere if you get there early enough. Watched the NBA playoff finals. The food came out really quick. Great service. The nachos not the best. Wings were as normal as it comes. It was bar food. Not brewery food. Definitely a fun place.

Fun, college-y feeling sports bar. Pool and some other games spread around the area. Projectors and tvs playing ball games. Beers from $5-$8 draft. Taco tuesday had $2 tacos, that while small, hit the spot. Good selection of CA drafts and some other non-local and imported brews. Also lucked out with some free tequila shots and a t shirt!

Lots of sports on TV, good music in the background, the food is okay (ordered boneless Buffalo wings and they were kind of cold).Also the ladies bathroom stall (had to use the bathroom after a glass or two of winehad no tissue paper in there, so that was a slight issue. 😮

Fun atmosphere. Short walk up the stairs. Lots of selections. TV can be seen from basically anywhere. Plenty of volume for the selected channel. Lots of seating for large and small party groups. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Did not try the food.

The music is good, the genre jumps from one collective group to the next. I was surprised to hear "computer love." Staff is friendly with excellent customer service. Cool vibe and so much cool things to do while you imbibe.

It was our first time at the Tap Room, the food was great. It looked like a great place to hang out, however half the venue was reserved and we had to sit at a covered shuffleboard table.

This is the spot to watch to watch the game.. whatever game it is and specially Bay Area sports. Massive and excellent list of beers with pitcher prices that won’t break the bank.Make sure to try the chicken wings!
