Very friendly staff very tasty burgers!! Although VERY small. 4 bites and it was done. Not sure if I’ll be back.

Went for my first time, amazing burgers. The Fancy fries are great. Its a deconstructed burger on top of the fries.Havent tried yet, but the homemade donuts and the homemade caramel sauce looks amazing.The guy we spoke to at the counter was very excited to share the story about local ingredients as well.Its still worth the trip to Steinbach!

Really nice place on main st in Steinbach. Just had the poutine and it was pretty good. Service was excellent and entertained my kids. Which was nice and fun. Will return one day to try another section of the menu.

Me and the wife had the pleasure of trying out golden fried today, not only was the owner a real gem but the food was delicious. All home made ,reminded me of what the first McDonalds would have been like or a better version of in and out burger. Will definitely be back next time visiting Steinbach.

Very disappointed. Ordered cheeseburgers for everybody at work and I mean if you like very small burgers then this is the place for you! 3 bites and its done! Had to order more food yet from a different restuarant to fill up. Definetly doesnt recommend this place.

Burgers were delicious and fresh! Same for fries!! Order took about 10 mins. Its ready when I arrived for pick up!

This is an amazing place. The food is incredible. Anything that can be made in-house is made here! The food is all natural and locally sourced. Milkshakes and sauces are homemade and very delicious! We are DEFINITELY coming back!!!

Honestly, I love this place. The environment was clean and well kept. The service was excellent, the cashier and cook were very polite. The burger (single cheese burger shown in the picswas actually really well done. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The only reason its not 5stars is because of the burger size. I just wish they were bigger. Its like the size of a McDouble at McDonalds.

There is so much good in this place. The food is DELICIOUS and at such reasonable prices! Its made in great time and right when they say it will be!The service is also what has me coming back! Everyone is always so pleasant and happy. They are so kind, polite, and prompt.I will keep coming back here and keep recommending it to family and friends.

I came to this eating location for the first time and it was so amazing experience!I did order “fancy fries”❤️❤️To me, this is one of the best restaurants that I have never come before.There are 2 reasons:+1st: the fries was well cooked (crispyand they made with the fresh ingredients; especially the fantastic special sauce.+2nd: customer service is super friendly and professional.I rarely write the reviews for any restaurants because other restaurants just good at some specific aspects but this restaurant is absolutely perfect about everything.For sure I will just come to Steinbach; just because of eating at “Golden Fries”.❤️❤️

Just tried this place out for the first time... Amazing food !! Best chili cheese dog I have ever had from anywhere !! Everything ordered was delicious !! Hit the spot with the wife and kids also !! I can definitely tell food is cooked with love... Will absolutely go back and work my way through the menu !! Great service !! Great food !! Keep it up guys !! Cheers !!

Share a good chat with the guys working every time. Could use more topping options and its pretty pricey for a slider sized (maybe a touch biggerburger. But the food is delicious and everyone is friendly

The atmosphere is nice, and the staff are really pleasant and friendly. I love the tots. The burgers are small so get two, but they really taste great.

Service was good, Burger portions are small and price seems a little steep, sometimes a little greasy but overall taste great! Upon ordering the burger week burger, a staple of the burger was left out and didnt bother to notify at the time of pre order or at pick up. It was quite disappointing. I contacted them and they responded quickly and gave me 2 replacement burgers free of charge. Which also tasted great. Overall a unique little burger joint with good tasting food and good atmosphere. I would recommend trying them.

The burgers are wet with grease and are the size of Sliders. The fries are also incredibly greasy and limp. We thought we would get the taste out of our mouths with some milkshakes but the chocolate tasted like coconut and the vanilla also tasted like coconut............ total waste of money.

Excellent customer service...took care of us and our puppy. Food was amazing. No oversized bun to take away from the delicious homemade burger.. The caramelized onions were to die for... fries were amazing. Friendly comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. love it will be back.. our new favorite hamburger place.

The burger patties melt in your mouth and the buns taste great. they have great beer selection on the fries taste really good. The burgers are sliders so if I am super hungry I usually get their specialty fries with a double golden or 2 burgers and fries. (Im a 25 y/o guy)

Excellent staff good food even if you have any issues they go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. The fancy fries taste amazing like a big mac but with homemade fries as the bun yum yum yum 🍴😋🍴

This place has quirky hand-drawn menus and great burgers! My partner and I each got a burger and fries. We LOVE smash patties! All the ingredients are local and delicious. The staff (including the kitchenhere are friendly and always smiling. We always have lunch here when we go to Steinbach.

Very friendly service, but my order was supposed to come with 2 patties, cheese and bacon. One patty was proportional and the second patty was the size of a toonie, no bacon or cheese and swimming in mustard. My friend, who specifically asked for no mustard had lots of mustard on hers. I didn’t bother to return mine, but they did give my friend a new burger.

Drove here from Winnipeg, and yes, it is definitely worth the trip! 3 of us split a bag of cheeseburgers (6and 2 deluxe golden burgers and a family fries and strawberry and vanilla milkshakes. As a hungry person, the 3 burgers was the correct amount. The burgers were delicious all around, especially the buns and thin patty. I found that there was too much ketchup on the cheeseburgers, but my colleagues did not agree. The deluxe golden had bacon, onions, and a special sauce (creamy), and I definitely preferred it to the cheeseburgers. The buns were soft and toasty on the bottom. The fries were of the thicker and crisper variety and had some nice coarse salt on them. The strawberry milkshake may be the best Ive had. Seemed to have been made with real strawberries as there were seeds in it. At $20 per person including tax and tip, this place is a steal considering the taste and quality. I will be getting double deluxe golden burgers when I return, interested to get a beefier experience.

great homemade fresh burgers their buns are what really sell the burger. just had a breakfast sandwich off their new breakfast menu and hands down the best breakfast sandwich in town. the homemade ground sausage was amazing and just the right amount of salty and the made in store English muffin really held everything together. would highly recommend.

They have a great variety of amazingly delicious and great quality food served to you by a happy staff that actually care about what there doing.Often have very unique specials that are a tasty change of pace.I came here every day for a whole month and still love the place!

I was skeptical at first hearing that the burgers were tiny. Decided to give it a go and Im glad I did.These burgers are actually really good. Full of flavour and cooked properly.I would definitely recommend this place

Best burgers in Steinbach! I am always amazed with how good a burger can be. Everything is made with such high quality ingredients and design. The true taste of a perfect burger. And somehow their milkshakes are better than everyone elses. I thought milkshakes were all the same, but they proved me wrong. I go back over and over.

Amazing food! Everything I have tried here has been exceptional. The turkey sandwich and the golden burger are my favourites so far. Highly recommend!

Small, cozy place. Friendly, engaging staff which to me is a definite plus! First visit, I had their double Golden burger, with a side of fries & gravy. The Golden is smaller burger, essentially a slider, so if youre hungry youll probably want something more substantial - thats not a criticism, just a heads up! Nice seasoning for the patties, the fries were wonderful, and the gravy was a very pleasant surprise! Not the dark, heavy gravy I was expecting (the type that seems to be the norm for a burger joint), lighter and a unique flavor, in a good way! Definitely will come back to try more of their menu!

Golden Fried, this is the best restaurant Ive been too in my 20 years of being alive.If you have any taste in real quality food Golden Fried is for you.Many items off the menu are HOMEMADE.The staff is very friendly & welcoming, that with the combination of great music makes the atmosphere feel very warm and inviting.I would recommend this to anyone who loves food.

First time coming here today and is now my new favourite place to eat. The cooks are all quick on their feet and quick to get your order out. The service is very friendly and polite. The food is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves a good burger and fries. I have yet to try other things on the menu but make it a plan to come back and try everything else.

Small burgers, huge flavour. I’m a huge fan of the old diner vibe. This place nails it. Super friendly people and fun atmosphere. Also, the sliders are delicious. It’s comfort food perfected. Also great beer.I never believe a review that is only positive, so here I go. Prices could be lower and I wish they were open on Mondays. That being said... clearly the prices haven’t kept me away. I guess it’s worth it to me.Good job GF. Please stay.

This is diner food, but don’t be confused, this isn’t greasy diner food that makes you wish your chair was a toilet. This is diner food made by a professional chef who cares more about his burgers than you do about your firstborn child. From the dry aged chuck to the locally made buns, this food is executed so perfectly, the French are asking for their guillotine back. Do yourself a favour, and honestly, do the world a favour and come in for the best sliders and fries in Southeastern Manitoba.

Went to this restaurant last weekend with some friends. I got the single cheeseburger with a poutine. The burger was amazing every bite you took it packed a punch. The poutine has cheese curds from bothwell cheese and wow it was so good!!! Staff were so friendly and welcoming. I would rate this place at a 10/10

Now Im no burger expert, but this place has to have the best Ive ever had. The sliders are simple yet bursting with flavour. I was greated at the door by a lovely young man and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of items on the menu. Ive had the delux golden and the special they had for a buffalo turkey sandwich which was gluten free!!! Amazing, truly. I cannot recommend this place enough, if you have $5 burning a hole in your pocket, spend it here.

This place has stellar burgers! They aren’t particularly large, which I think is perfect as I leave satisfied but if you have a large appetite, consider ordering two. Very reasonably priced.

Love love love this place. Delicious, local, fresh food. My hubby and I like it for a chill date night but we can also bring in our kids for a family lunch. Super friendly staff makes you feel so welcomed. Its our new favourite spot in town!

Great family atmosphere, the staff make you feel like youre welcomed into their own kitchen instead of a restaurant.Food is great, probably the best burgers in Steinbach. Some people have said that the burgers are too small, but when you can get two burgers and fries for $13.50 you cant go wrong, and thats not even the cheapest option.Decent selection of beer/cider/coolers available.Locally sourced ingredients.Great addition to the food scene in Steinbach.

Ate there last night, the staff and owners are super friendly and passionate about their business, which is great! The only thing is for the price of their burgers, they are incredibly small and the meat is soo salty that it overpowers the condiments, onions and overall beef flavor. I agree doing smash burgers is the way to go, but reduce the salt and a quarter pound patty should be the minimum requirement for a cheese burger at their price. I would rather go to A & W for a double buddy burger which would be cheaper.

A solid hip hole in the wall for Steinbach. Positive and happy vibes from the staff, always making you feel very welcome. Home grown ingredients from across Manitoba to keep it local. Definitely recommend the Deluxe Golden Burger!! Even sells beer!! Stay Golden!

Burger is very small and fries were over cooked. As for the regular burger Dawg house Kleefeld is better. But maybe return to try a golden burger but I expected nice fresh fries and one delicious hamburger but was disappointed when that’s what they specialize in

I enjoyed a milkshake, the golden deluxe burger and fries this past week and was blown away by the flavour! The food was ideal portions (not overwhelmingly largeand a reasonable price for the locally sourced ingredients. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the environment was pleasant. I would highly recommend trying this place out - Im excited to try more items on the menu!

Overall underwhelming.Burgers are too small for the price. The patty itself was quite good, but other than that nothing stood out in the burger.The "special sauce" is literally the definition of mediocre. Not bland, but definitely nothing to write home about.Fries were good, but the gravy was one of the weakest points of the meal.Milkshake was very runny and rather bland.Nothing special.

Burgers are pricey but they are exploding with favor, Very delicious. Would say they are about the size of an AW buddy burger maybe a tad bigger. I did not have the fries so not sure how they are but did notice a sign saying beer coming soon so something else to look forward too
