Golden Corral Buffet & Grill in Sterling Heights

The waiter gave me an attitude and barely brought me drinks around I had to beg another waiter just to get a drink I had to literally sit a recording device on the table so he can notice that I was recording him for him not to keep being ignorant towards me I walked over to another waiter and asked him for a drink and then when I walked away he walked up to the waiter and asked him what did I asked him and she said she asked me for a drink and I put it on her table so therefore he was even being nosy he wouldnt service me but at the same time didnt want anybody else to service me neither and this was just too much to deal with Id rather go back to the Chinese buffet

The food was very good, there was plenty of it, and there was many choices to pick from.

I was Impressed with how clean the place was for a buffet and there was a lot of people there food was good and there was plenty of choices

I like this place because its convenient and the variety and abundance of choices is very good. Some of the food is really good too.

I took my son here for his 7th birthday dinner. I dont think this is a place I would visit again the food was subpar to me. The drinks were admittedly watered down ie ginger ale. There is no real ginger ale. The seating was sort of tight for me but maybe I came on a crowded night but we were seated near young people cursing like sailors and yelling the entire dinner. Our server was spectacular. He was down to earth and friendly. He overall made this a better experience for us but I wouldnt eat here again.

Golden corral is the perfect place to get a feel for society around us. During our visit there was zero fist fights or chairs thrown. 1 couple did take a 6 person table that was trashy but the rest of the crowd was cool.

The plates were dirty, and there was nothing to pick from. We ended up paying an expensive price for such a dinner. We went home and we actually cooked a dinner after this plae because we did not have a normal dinner as planned .

Service was excellent but only because the waitress worked so hard. It was definitely understaffed and really unfair to treat an employee so poorly. Food was good and people nice

My favorite all you can eat Buffett. The waiters are always nice friendly and helpful. Food is always great. I wish they had more golden corral in central Jersey when I am in the area I always make sure I go there.

The staff was very friendly and polite and kept checking on us. Its a very neat establishment and the food was also very good with a wide array of desserts.

For southern comfort chain they didnt have a whole lot. $18 a person now.Food Pro: Stuffing was awesome.BBQ wings & fried chicken were good.Bourbon Chicken was decent,Food Con: rice krispies were a downright sin. Tasted like the cereal with some glue instead of marshmallow. The soup was salty and bland.Most of the food didnt look good but thats an opinion on my taste not yours lol.It was pretty packed & I should have asked for water since there was no ability to get water or soda yourself. You had to wait for one of the busy waitresses to take pity to your plea and stop by. Feel like it would be easier to have a customer facing soda fountain or water fountain at least.Would I recommend? Nah. Ill take my chances at Dennys instead or Chinese buffet

The food wasnt all that great the service wasnt all that well and the ham cutter was not to friendly when i went expensive drinks should have been included wouldnt recomend going here

We got there as they were changing from breakfast to lunch so we got the best of both. They have an omelet station where you can get an omelet freshly made for you. They had so many choices in foods & desserts I couldnt name them all. The food was really good and our waitress was excellent

Went on a Sunday. Atmosphere was nice. Food was fresh and delicious. Pot roast was great! Our waitress never let us become thirsty.

I so love this place, I would come every day if I had the time! My favorite thi ng is the steak well done plus the salad bar! The desserts are to die for!

Was good. Like the changes with the gloves. Table service wasnt the best. Had to keep asking for a refill. Oh and dont get a drink to go. They actually give you a kiddie cup.. Like FR?

Wasnt great at all. I couldnt wait to go, then was disappointed in the food. The staff was great, food not so much.

I have been coming here for years, I love the different way of seating they have now, the other way was a disaster, seem like the quality of food went down, definitely seemed to be less things to choose, in both main dishes and deserts, place seemed not to clean.

Food Is good. I wish they had more variety sometimes but at least they keep the dishes they do have hot and fresh. I also appreciate there drink menu. Margaritas was good.

We paid 60 dollars and there was no food we just ate mash corn fries and hard dried fried chicken no steak no ham nothing it was empty I guess because it was a full house. We did not get any service at all just when we sat down the young lady asked what would you like to drink and that was it she dissapeared never saw her again I was choking on that hard chicken and noone to ask for a refill I was very disappointed today.

I was nicely surprised when we went back, after not being there for a while. Last time we were there it was a bit of a zoo. This time, it was really nice. Food was good, drink server was nice, and they must have done up the place. Would definately go again. Saying this we went when it was not too busy.

The food was delicious never been to a golden Corral that served drinks nice addition. The steak was cooked perfectly Hostess was ok but overall I let on a full stomach.

Everything was horrible food over cooked too much salt .... Horrible flavor I wasnt expecting much but nah this is not it and its over priced .... Its 17 with a drink .... And ... I just felt like over paid .... Because of the quality of the food was mush... the server was great tho

As I drive down the road my belly lets out the call of the wild. I see the golden corral. I then think to my self:Now this looks like a job for meSo everybody just follow meCause we need a little beefyCause me belly feels so empty without the corralI said, this looks like a job for meSo everybody just follow meCause we need a little ice creamCause me belly feels so empty without meat.I get in and I corral the meat into my mouth. Fling chicken and beef into me and yell at the spegittiey get in me belly. The spegitti levitate and flops into me mouth. Through the lips past the gums look out belly here the spegittue comes. I shall return tomorrow to commit the sin of gluttony. A fine place for a fine meal.

Everything is delicious and very clean, price is reasonable. I would recommend this place to my friends!

This was nice we went there for my granddaughters birthday they sing Happy Birthday to her and everything the food was good

Golden Corral buffet in Bensalem, PA wasnt all that great. Food was good but the steak chef was extremely rude, vulgar language in front on families with small children and had this attitude as if we were bothering him. Many patrons other than myself noticed these actions. Apparently when you purchase a lunch meal you have to pay extra for steak. No problem I completely understand. People werent aware that you had to give your steak ticket to your waitress for her to go get your steak and bring it to your table. Normally you would go to the steak section and tell the chef how you liked your steak cooked. He basically told people "Hey, its not free. You have to pay for it." When patrons told him they had paid for it he replied, "then go tell your waitress." Not in a friendly manner but basically in a bullying way. Seemed like we were bothering him while he was at work constantly throwing the F-bomb around for everyone to hear. These conversations also included vulgarity used towards his boss for having him come into work on another day. I only know this because he made sure to say it out loud. This is a person that clearly has no customer service skills or respect for those paying to be at his place of work. Yes this is a long review but I felt it was necessary to relay the fact that this single act of unprofessionalism literally placed a bad taste in our mouths for choosing Golden Corral to have lunch today. Ill definitely return to a different location and hope that our mealtime is pleasant.

my first time there today was I didnt expect people so starving so ready to eat 🏃, as soon as my friend & I sat down at our table🏃🏃🤺 , food was ok, but I dont think Ill going to that one

The food was great! I enjoyed everything on my plate and that rarely happens when I go to buffets. Some of the staff was really nice, and some seemed to just be in a bad mood. But sometimes people just have bad days so that’s okay. I’ll be back soon!

The food was really good there I cant complain

Service to get refills was horrible. Had to wave down the server. Prices were high. Food was delicious. I wish parents watched their kids....I saw a kid grab a plate hug it and kiss it...then put it back in the rack. Kids should not be able to grab plates so unsanitary and the parents dont watch them.

This food was so fresh and very clean you had plenty of places to sit in or outside. This place also serves adults beverages the first Ive ever seen but very good. Must try them!!!

Needs more options. Salad bar used to have alot of options, not sure what happened. No reason why they dont serve fries here. Used to be better.

Usually pretty good. This time there was no ceaser dressing for the cearser salad . Mash potatoes were like water . . On the upside the steak was good .

Food guy with the light brown eyes was very rude.I asked him nicely to refill the shrimp because it was empty. He was rude and said its coming and said the fried chicken is good.Like every black person eats fried chicken. He needs a reality ✔️ check. He looked so miserable.I will never go back again!!!

Everyone is great especially the gentleman who works the grill station. His interaction with guests and his personality makes our visits memorable. I hope this restaurant chain honors him and appreciate his value. He is the embodiment of the lost art of true customer service.

I havent been to this location in years. It was crowded, but we didnt wait in the line too long. Our waitress was a little slow, but Im not sure if she had too many tables. We sat on the patio and we enjoyed our food. The bathroom was dirty and needed to be cleaned, but overall the restaurant was clean. We had a good time and well be back again.

I usually go here and the food is pretty decent. However, today the food was terrible. I dont know if they switched cooks or what. The manager is cool and the staff are not so bad.

Packed place as expected. Long lines of waiting too. We had cocktails too. Not a bad experience at all. I am just pleased being with many more typical Americans whenever we are here. Gives me a lot of clues on how we generally do things on this level of service and experience, given the price.Kinda slow service from the staff who attended to us but I guess thats just part of the experience, especially on holidays. Theres parking, we are grateful for that. Food doesnt definitely taste like most Chinese food buffet places, thankfully.

I dont understand the reviews on this place I thought it was a great place to eat. I took my grandkids for dinner. I would like to say that it was a very nice environment. I just have one criticism the bread pudding was under cook.

Wish I could give this Zero stars. WORST BUFFET EVER!!. No chicken wings. One grill cook, so you Gatta wait 15 to be seated and then another 20 just to get some grilled food.The variety of food is just lousy. I’ve seen better buffets.. this Golden Corral is a disappointment to others.

I havent stopped here since our daughters wedding and that was 4 1/2 years ago. It was an okay place.Then the pandemic started and they along with the majority of restaurants were forced to close.We just took a few of our grandkids there because theyve never been to a buffet and I have to say, Golden Coral, you have done maybe the best changeover at all the places Ive been so far.Its beyond clean, friendly and they have all sanitary bases covered.Definitely a very good experience and I hope it stays like this.Any of you other large chains need to go and see what theyve done and get it together.

First time @ a GC post-pandemic, this place definitely sets the bar. From the online wait list, to the organization inside it was great! Plenty of spacing on tables , booths are pexi glass- they provide gloves and hand sanitizer! Food was replenished rather quickly, overall food was good and 90% of food items were stocked. Some zones were off.Our server Nicole was great!$16 per person / Sat dinner not bad!Looks like they serve alcoholic beverages now!

Went for breakfast, and despite some recent reviews I had read, I decided to try it out for myself. And I am super glad I did. Their breakfast is very very good. The custom omelettes are a highlight, excellent French Toast, Sausage Gravy, and the list goes on! Highly recommended! 👌 😋 - The Goat Food Challenges

Valentines Day at the Golden Corral. The food was fresh and very tasty. As you know the weekend is Golden Corral, businesses days. Theyre closed on Monday.The pictures below will tell you what kind of time we had.We visited the Golden Corral on Street Road,Bensalem Pa. They used their stimulus package to remodel, new carpet and buy vacuum cleaners to keep it clean this year.

Almost everything is canned or processed. The big exception is the extensive salad bar and fresh yeast rolls. I may return for soup and salad. The "steak burgers" were good and had a nice char. Clean place, clean restrooms, attentive waitress.

Price wise very affordable and the food are yummy. To me, there are many varieties to choose from. The live prawns are sweet n crunchy. Go very well with the sauces they provid...and I really liked their desserts! So tasty

Its always a pleasure dining at Golden Corral. I like going out with my family just to share a piping hot meal together when I dont feel like cooking, or when I just feel like going out to eat. The staff here are very friendly and welcoming, though the line is typically very long. Its understandable, seeing as how this is a great place to eat. Dont forget to try their meatloaf! No, seriously... their meatloaf is AMAZING. Its super tender and moist, covered in savory beef gravy. Yum!! Cant wait for my next visit!

I enjoyed the food and customer service very much. My partner wasnt so happy with the selection of food. I thought it was great
