Amazing restaurant! I love all the employees there and the food is wonderful! Ive been going for years and the food is always great and nostalgic everytime I go. I bring my friends, family, and friends families to share the wonderful experience. I love yall and your amazing cooking!

This place was great!! Delicious food, the sweetest staff, quick chefs and very clean. It may not look the best from the outside but dont let that fool you, its very nice inside! There isnt a huge selection of food but of what food there is its 10/10. Would definitely recommend! ❤️

Let me tell you my bill was $113.86 and most of the bill was a to go order I have been eating here for 4 years and never have I ever had an experience like this one me and my husband ate our food and then we placed the to go order we needed when the food came out we went and paid the bill I did not leave a tip because my money was short and most of the money I used to pay for the take out orders was for other people so as we are leaving the owner/server said to me you pay me for my service’s I said excuse me my husband said are you telling me we need to pay you a tip and he said yes I tried to explain that I could not afford it and this man did not care he followed us in to the parking lot and kept telling my husband you need to pay for services why she not like me and then he took a picture of our license plate number with his cell phone no where does it say I am required to leave a tip you can bet I will never be eating there again as well as this is a free country if I don’t want to leave a tip I will not and I just can not believe this happened

Waiter was awesome and made us laugh. The food was great as well.

OH MY GOODNESS! We just had the MOST AMAZING experience here!! Our food was delicious! The portions were HUGE! We had 9 people and brought food for days home, and the best part were our servers! The staff was so engaging, hilarious, and attentive. We have been in Alabama for a couple years but just moved to the Gadsden area, and this is by far the best Chinese restaurant we have been to in the state! LOVED IT!!

I do not usually rate restaurants but I tell ya if you want to have a quick bite with friendly staff (namely Nolan!then you should go sit down here. All be it it is a small buffet, it is well worth it! Best egg rolls Ive probably ever had!

Our server was so friendly and accommodating. Reasonably priced, quaint hole in the wall. Tasty soups and buffet dishes. Possibly the best sweet tea and hot tea in town.

Golden China is a delicious place to eat. I always carry out and my favorite dish is 5 flavored shrimp. The egg rolls are awesome too!

I have never spoken with a more rude, unprofessional person in my life!With my order, I was seeking resolution since both of my entree sauces were spilled EVERYWHERE (to go order).I was trying to explain that putting it in a cup would be helpful.His response: "my restaurant, my way!!".And he hung up on me.Unbelievable!!Worst customer service that I have ever experienced!!

The waiter was really great, but we went there for a buffet bar and it was only 2 little areas, was more like a snack bar.

Around 2020 during the fall season it was our first time trying their food. At first we didn’t know how good their food was but we kept coming back for more. At times my dad would buy their food twice a week and the way how they cook their food is unique. Their prices are reasonable for the lunch hour. I like the sauces they cook with the vegetables, it is not thick, sweet or bitter but in my opinion it tastes organic.I specifically mean the sauce they use on the Buddha Delight or Chow Lo mein. I have been living in the east coast most of my life and we haven’t witnessed something like this in a long time. Their egg rolls flour texture is very good once it’s cooked decent hot in your mouth. The location of this restaurant is convenient for us. We have introduced this restaurant to some friends of ours in Fort Payne, and they couldn’t believe how good the food was. During the pandemic the management is very serious in taking orders of food for the customers. On few occasions their maybe a mishap in either the temperature of how the food came out to be but that can be normal in other establishments as well.

Loved trying the #405 The Sizzling Rice with fried & steamed rice & egg roll for my taste of my experience & my brother had the fried dumplings with sweet & sour chicken with steamed & fried rice.

The food was ok the service was really good the gentleman that help me checked on me just the right amount of visits to the table. Not so many where you feel harassed but not so few where you feel forgotten about.

Golden China is my 2nd favorite Chinese food place on the area. Everything is always hot and fresh. They have great eggrolls. The service is quick and their website makes ordering so easy. The only thing that falls short is the spicy seafood noodle soup (once youve had it from Royal Kitchen there is no substituteand the batter on their fried offerings is a little too thick for my liking. I normally order szechaun or Mongolian and they are great. I wouldnt mind more spice but then again I could order it extra spicy.

We were passing through Gadsden and decided to stop here. It was our first time to dine here. The food was really good. The service was great and the staff was very friendly.

Everything on buffet was hot and fresh. I want to add a big ty to the staff here, about a week before I rushed in right at closing they gladly took my order which I must say the Mongolian Combination is delicious! We were going to eat in the car, the gentleman brought us paper plates out and suggested we park under the light so we could see to eat.

Everything was fresh and tasted great. Favorite is Kung Pao chicken. Love the crab cheese wontons! Looking forward to eating at their buffet soon

My family and I were traveling through Gadsden and decided to try this Chinese restaurant. My husband and I ordered 2 meals, moo goo gai pan. The food was okay. I wasnt overly impressed but the kicker was the man that took my take out order asked if that was my van outside and told me I should have gone to McDonalds instead. If he was joking it wasnt funny. Next time we drive through Gadsden we wont go to McDonalds but we will definitely go to another restaurant other than yours.

Awesome service and great tasting food. Nothing better than this restaurant. I ate in with family members. We got the bar. But several of my family members got the takeout bar . They went to smaller takeout plates and a $3. upcharge if you put a toothpick in the plate to close it. 12. Dollars and change with tax. Ripoff.

Take away only at this time. Friendly and quick. The Mandarin beef with chow mein was tasty and filling. General Tsos chicken was sweet. All portions were large.

This place is the absolute BEST. I moved from Gadsden not too long ago, but will still come back to visit *just* so I can get some takeout from here. And not only that, but when the restaurant itself is open to dine in, their buffet is unbelievably awesome.

Not on point on this trip. I was more than disappointed, as their standards are usually high. The egg rolls although substantial, were bland and without flavor. I had shrimp fried rice. It tasted like two dishes. The shrimps were plump, but seemed to have been just dumped in the rice. No cohesiveness of flavor could be found. I will try again...

Food excellent ecept for my butterfly shrimp dinner. The pancake battered shrimp was soggy & wet due to veggie juice spilling into it in the styrofoam container. My husband LOVED the CURRY CHICKEN. Well seasoned; not over bearing.Poor accommodations for social distancing especially in cold or inclimate weather. No indoor dining.Long wait times. Did not call me by my given phone number when my order was ready. Again, had to go into a crowded cubby. POOR customer service: they also, forgot to give me cutlery. I ordered three dinners, over $30.00 worth of food.

Dec 11, 2020-Menu photo of curry chicken looked awesome so I placed my order; along with 2 more entrees for my friends. Upon opening my orders container I was sadly disappointed. Nothing like the menu photo.... not even the same type prepared chicken, sauce was greasy and bland. Hopefully this was an isolated incident because I do plan on returning as my previous experiences have been pretty good.... I’ll just ordered my usual entree!

I’ve had their food back when I was a teenager and still am ordering from them to this day as a young adult. Always had great service no problems from the food. Wonderful worker that are very kind. Will always recommend them to friends and family.

The absolute best Sweet Corn Chicken Soup anywhere!! I absolutely love the Egg Rolls also. The service is unequaled as far as I am concerned. I never give 5 stars because nothing is perfect......

We almost didnt stay but we did and Im glad we did. Our waitress was very friendly. It was clean, cozy and warm. The food was super fast and absolutely amazing. If I am ever back in this town, this is where I will get my fill. 😁.

Food fresh and delicious. The fried foods were melt in my mouth good. Loved the deserts. Everything tasted homemade. Watermelon was delicious. Buffet small but all my favorites were there. Soups tasted authentic. Staff friendly. Highly reccommend will be back for sure. Lunch price reasonable $6.50. Restaurant clean.

My husband and I ate here today. The staff was very friendly. The food was delicious and fresh. The banana cake on the desert bar was so good I asked for the recipe. I wanted to give the place 6 stars cause 5 isent enough. A must try and my new favorite Chinese Buffet!!

Golden China is always, always fast, efficient and fresh food. Service is excellent and friendly. I have never had a bad experience here, I eat here both dine in and carry out, and now they are available on Gadsden to go. In my opinion, they have the best Chinese food in town, hands down. We ordered Shrimp with vegetables and, I am not sure how to spell it, but also had the Schectzuan Chicken and both with white rice. Simply DELISH!

The food was delicious, with large potion sizes, each entree was enough to feed at least two people. The house special wonton soup for two could have fed four a bowl each. So for the prices which are average for a sit down slightly higher end restaurant experience, you take home plenty of food ordering an entree a head. Service was quick and very friendly. This is definitely going on our list of date night locations, and well be returning. Though Im still curious what caused the beautiful floral scent that filled the restaurant.
