In such a hairy on Sunday the chicken was overfried and very dry very disappointed

Chicken was juicy, hot & fresh & the coleslaw was awesome... The pieces had way more meat than KFC or Wingstop. The chicken skin was good too!Support a local establishment and give this place a try.

I absolutely love the chicken here but if you order over the phone they are sooooooooo rude it’s unbelievable and if they mess the order up and promise a credit they forget and act like they don’t know what your talking about. I really wish the service was better because I would definitely go there more often but sometimes I can’t get past the rude customer service!!!!

I am having some tonight I love it.i have a friend in white lake WI 200 miles away and he drives down to Milwaukee just to get some .heloves it to yum yum .

I ordered two of burgers dinners and nuggets and two fries and my food got cold and it was horrible and i guess that they dont know how to cook but and i will never order from them again 😡😡

Bought a 20 piece wing and fries and chicken was Horrible.Soft greasy and no taste. Fries was over cooked.Man who took my order had a nasty a** sounding attitude.He definitely was white tho.If you work in fast food and u have attitudes with customers then that mean this is not the job 4 u.Next time I’ll just buy my own stuff from the grocery store and cook it myself.

Placed an order for strips, fries and a suggested item of mozzarella sticks. Was told an hour wait for the order, an hour later my meal came hot and ready. Hope the tip to the driver made his day. The meal made my day.

They had delicious crispy Golden Chicken like the name says. it was very scrumptious and they should be seen because they are good and good is great in these pandemic times.

Bad customer service wait an hour and 15 minutes for delivery the food was called the fries were soggy and it was the wrong order and they charge me for what they charge you for 😡🤬

Overcooked fries and when I called to tell them about my order being wrong 😑 The man that claim to be the one in charge gave me a fake name he couldn’t spell and told me I was lying about my fries being overcooked because he was the ones that cooked them. He was very rude and I had to speak with someone else. He was nice and apologized for the mixup. I would not eat here again.

I will NEVER spend my money here again. Placed an order, picked it up and they called harassing me twice with an order that was not mine. The owner told me he took my order when I clearly spoke with a woman. Now apparently I am on the banned list as if I care. Poor customer service and manners. Go to Gold Rush!

When they mess up your order they treat u like you’re trying to scam them! Like seriously something is mentally unstable with the guy who answered the phone tonight. Why would you not just fix your mistake? Instead they tell me I ordered Okra instead of poppers! Like what? I know what I ordered bro. I can’t believe I was just treated like that’s over some poppers.

I’ve been going to go to Chicken for over 20 years and today I experienced the worst customer service from a manager so he say….he answered the phone very rudely first of all and when I tried to ask him some questions about how long the wait will be was rude again ….because the last time my husband called the person that’s answered the phone said it was up to 20 to 45 minutes wait….as a manager IF HE WAS A MANAGER….he was extremely rude…he needs to receive more TRAING ON CUSTOMER SERVICE

Long story short. New customer. Today I walk in first thing I notice was NO GLOVES. He was frying food and battering food with no gloves. He wiped his hands on his shirt then He come to me with an attitude after I asked him was my 2 dinners ready. I walked out and bought Jimmy johns. I will be calling the health department.

Really good food...pork chops, shrimp, poppers and chicken is really good! A bit of a longer wait, they usually say 20 min but its never really done in 20...maybe 30 35.

I go here a lot and its usually a pleasant experience but today was not I orderd a chicken dinner which you get four pcs I get home open it up and I only have two. I called and mentioned the mistake and was treated as if I were trying to get over on two pcs of chicken so I will never spend my money here ever again that was really rude of the guy to treat the situation as such

This is one of my favorite places, but today was a little off or something,When my food got here The aluminum foil Was all wrinkle, I ordered BBQ chicken and a fish sandwich and the fish was really dry and cooked to hard, they didnt have anything on it but the bun and it look like they patted the bun with their hand, I paid for the food and delivery But I am not satisfied, I had a bad experience once before but I didnt Say anything, but today was really bad, Ill never order fish again, So Ill give them 2 stars because the Chicken was alright.

My fav FRIED FOOD in the area is Chicken and French Fries. We usually get the chicken meal 16 or 24 with 2 Fries without salt of course its the best deal for my family. Im a picky eater and LOVE the ability to truly see the food preparation from counter. They always have delivered our food hot and never had any issues with missing items. I will either call for delivery but dont mind picking it up if Im out on errands. This will be around for many more years.

Always on time with the best Fish ive gotten from any restaurant.. an it taste like home.. Always more than enough an if U have a problem they will fix it quick with NO PROBLEM love them!

Great place for late night food. Not high quality, but fills your stomach when most places are closed. Servings are respectable, but might have to work out in the morning to burn off calories.

Its the first time at this location the chicken was pretty good fries a little over cook but no bad I got the 2 piece snack for lunch good price very filling was ready within 15minures minutes when I ordered

Customer service is poor. Who ever pick up the phone on 3-15-21 at 5:28pm doesnt know how to talk to customers. Very bad business. I order the same meal all the time. Whats the problem now.

Their fried chicken is delicious. Cooked right. But... Its not heavy in seasoning but its still good fresh fried chicken

i order delivery and the fires were burnt, or i got the wrong sauce, so maybe the gimmick of serving food knowing a person isnt gonna drive back up there is bogus and needs to Stop. But the turn around is what got me. I started going in to pick up they said were not making it till you get here. Love it!! Absolutely love it!!! Guarantees freshness!! And the best part is the flavor. And the way this young kid with glasses treats you when you come in to order. Amazing. A true place to spend your money and feel good doing it. Yo its just Absolutely satisfying.

Food is good most of the time been going there 20 years and can only remember one person of color working there and that was last year being that at least 80% of the people that I see in there are from that community you think the owner would consider hiring at least 1 PERSON FROM THAT COMMUNITY

I normally have super great service from here, but not tonight. The person taking my order seemed like he didnt want to be working. I ordered an additional pint of mashed potatoes and gravy, but apparently he didnt hear me, even tho I repeated the order. Didnt get the mashed potatoes and the chicken was barely warm!! Sad, because usually everything is great!

They have really good fish and chicken but when I went there on a week day I didnt get the standard yeast roll instead I got some cut in half roll this dissappointed me

I wasted $16 on a 4 piece chicken dinner that was awful. The smell of the chicken is awful. I wouldn’t give wood a bad name by saying it tasted like wood. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place. It’s not like the Golden Chicken that was on North Avenue. It’s a knock off.

my experience at golden chicken was very good. the service was excellent and the staff they have are very good at what they do. they answered all my questions and i was in and and out within 20 min. unless they are busy then its 30min. the managers they have are very good with customers. i am proud to say that i will come back to golden chicken.

Golden Chicken at 6806 west VillardIs GARBAGE!! We ordered 2 bbq chicken dinners I only eat white meat and gave Jason my wing, thigh and this lil thing that was suppose to be a leg it was broken. Normally its plenty of bbq sauce, and extremely hot. Never seen the black specs before. Chicken was SUPER DRY fries were warm, Mgr refuse to remake our orders. I guess they are so desperate for $21.00 and cant afford to correct orders for customers He was so rude and disrespectful. He said he would have to see it, I offer to bring it back up there, .he said I cant help you and refuse to see the food. Owner very rude... Refused to talk to me being the customer. I order from here all the time but this one time I had a complaint. The person taking orders told me an hour for delivrty. But it was more like two hours. Ok I was cool with it showing up two hours later I didnt call nor complain. But once I got my food in the house I noticed it was warm not hot like it usually is... I normally have to put it in the fridge to cool down for my 2yr old. I didnt have to do that this time. I took it up there he refused to address me and refused to make my chicken over. I will never ever order from here again...

They have very poor customer service. After trying to return as a customer after several years of not ordering from the restaurant I asked the employee to tell me whats on the menu what comes with what. I ordered mozzarella stix and enough that marina sauce should have come with it to my knowledge. Or at least to be offered it. I called because there wasnt an itemized reciept or menu or sauce and I couldnt imagine eating mozzarella stix without sauce. They refused to deliver the sauce saying it was busy I actually was going to pay for it but i was told they were too busy. I had apent my money and was spending more money and you cant offer an apology and bring me the sauce. Instead you brag about being owner for years and how you cant get a bad review. The food wasnt even good. They need to take ownership for their mistakes. The employee should have explained sauce waa extra after being told I had no menu and needed her to explain. There was no excuse to behave that way. Terrible service smug snobby attitude. Never again! Spwnd your money at a place with decent customer service reps and owners that take ownership for mistakes.

Waited for over an hour for the worse chicken I have ever had it was dry as a bone and barely even warm . I will never order from there again . The menu said you tried the rest now try the best . If thats the best I wonrt be eating chicken in Milwaukee

Ordered for delivery and was told the order would be delivered within the hour. It took about 2.5 hours instead and was told each time we called it was on the way. The food was decent but the chicken was dry especially the wings. Its like they fried the meat out of the wings. I wont order from this place again. Youre better off just grabbing a to go meal at the grocery store.

I had placed an order for delivery and was told it would be within the hour which was fine.However after waiting over 90 minutes I called and was told it had gone out for delivery. After another 20 minutes I again was told again it was out for delivery.After waiting 2 hours I cancelled the order. 🍗.I was really disappointed because I was looking forward to the chicken.

So I placed an order for pick up once I got there to pick up my orders it was not ready which was alright. so I take a seat to wait for my order and as I’m sitting there I see three employees come from out side where they were just outside the door smoking cigarettes come inside go behind the counter and proceed to start bagging orders and pulling chicken and fries out of the fryers and NOT ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE WASHED THEIR HANDS it was at least six people behind the counter by the food bagging the food cooking the food and no one had on gloves or hairnets and at least 3 people came from outside and didn’t wash there hands no buddy Me and my family will not be eating at this establishment again!

CONSUMER BEWARE: Fat, white, chick with short brown hair and glasses will make your food super crispy to the point where it is not edible. My chicken tasted like wood, flavorless and was super dry! The fries were half-cooked and partially cold. They were packed first and allowed to set while the chicken was overcooked. All food is supposed to be prepared to order, so when you pick it up, it should be fresh and piping hot, unfotunately this was not the case. This has happened everytime I ordered food from there when she is working. If she answers the phone or if I see her working when I stop in, I will not be ordering😋

Customer service is extremely poor, food is a 2/10. I will never return. I called to place an order, the woman picked up the phone and said "hold" and i could hear her in the back ground talking woth another employee. Then a guy pucked up the phone and said " what do you want". When i got there to pick up my order, mine wasnt ready so they gave me someone elses order. Never again.

This place was pretty bad. They ripped me off an order of mozzarella sticks, saying I didnt order any but my order online says I did a D I was charged for them. The pizza wasnt very good, fries hard and over cooked. The chicken, which everyone on here hyped up, is not that great. Only good thing out of everything was the mashed potatoes and gravy. And that wasnt even that good. Spent almost 50 bucks. Wouldnt try this place again.

First time Ive been to this establishment I ordered the fried chicken wings. They were delicious at first however as time passed by me purchasing this order Ive started to get the poor customer service and food quality. Often times the worker are antisocial and rude. For now on I will not be spending my money at this establishment.

Picked up my order last night. Found out when I got home they forgot part of my order. Called them back, they said I didnt pay for it ( the missing food). apparently they jacked up their prices big time. I told them to forget it. The food was terrible. Cole slaw was warm and sour as if it was sitting under a heat lamp for an hour. Rib dinner was nondescript, sauce was blah. Never again will I order from there. Sad, they were very good a few years ago. I shouldnt even give them one star.

This was the first I time Ive had food from there in a long time. My chicken had next to no flavor and it was very greasy as were the fries, I almost think the oil needed to be changed. I used to eat here all the time but I had a bad experience once, and against my better judgement we tried it again, but I will not make that mistake twice. I will not be going back again.
