Golden Beach Resort in Krabi

Fantastic location on a very quiet Soi and only a few feet from the beach. Rooms were clean and spacious and very well appointed. Massive pool area, with many loungers. Plentiful breakfast, although we chose to eat away from the restaurant it was always well attended. Staff were extremely polite and helpful.

Hotel’s location is amazing. By the beach. Great views. Great pool. Value for money.A bit down side on the breakfast spread need a few improvement. Overall great stayed.

Fabulous place. Well located but a bit of a walk to the main strip. Right on the beach.

Great resort with direct sea view!Staff were very nice and friendly, definitely a place to stay when visiting Krabi again!

Great location, great pool, great price (£10pppn), shame its slightly let down by the odd hair found in the room/fairly basic breakfast requiring you to more or less pin a waiter down for the advertised scrambled eggs.

A beautifully positioned hotel right next to the beachThe rooms are well furnished with very large beds.The swimming pool is lovely and never seemed too busy.Breakfast is good with a large variety of cuisines. The one thing that needs some attention is that the burners under the hot dishes are frequently not lit with the result that the food has gone cold.The staff are very friendly and check in/out was simple and efficientOverall, this is a good, value for money hotel and I would recommend it

Great stay place with sea view and rooms are spacious and equipped.Close to beach and markets.Hotel food is not that great but good places around to hang out.

For the price I paid ( $30Aud a night including breakfast I have no complaints. I had a pool view room. Yes there wasnt any English speaking TV but if you have Netflix or Prime can access that through the tv. Breakfast was more Thai based than Western. The bed was extremely hard but that is the Thai way. Location was unbelievable you could hear the waves crashing at night from your balcony. I would stay there again and highly recommend

The location of hotel is superb and the rooms are spacious and ventilated. The breakfast was very sad and we tried alacat meals but they were equally pathetic. The restaurant service is below average and feedback on food was not very well taken.

Best location in Ao Nang, along the beach and near the shops and restaurants. Beautiful bungalows with very romantic ensuite bathroom jacuzzi. The only weakness was the mattress that I found a little too hard. Staff is very friendly. Will be back.

Breakfast could be better, there is lot of restaurants near by to get breakfast/ lunch/ dinner you like.

999 baht walk in so it would have been 250 cheaper to book online.The location of the hotel is excellent, right on the beach kind of and right near the main street.The room is nice size and appears to be refurbished, but still has a really cool looking floor and a tile color in the bathroom that just looks awesome.At night the hot water was just warm, but in the morning it was back to hot. The air conditioning was great and kept the room cool. The bed was not bad but it was not good either, it was soft enough to sleep, and the four pillows made finding one the right height easy.Just spent a night here, but Id stay here again.

Slightly better than average experience there. The location and the room (size, setupwas 5 star but the breakfast selection and cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Came across mosquitoes, flies, ants on breakfast items, lizard in the room during my 3 day stay there.The staff was very cordial and the service was above average as well.

Its located right next to the beach, so its very nice and the sea right in front of it is very clean. The swimming pool is so deep that it is difficult for children to play, but adults who swim can enjoy it more comfortably. Breakfast is clean and people are kind. The facility is old, but the location covers everything. I definitely recommend it.

There are rooms just in front the beach. but rarely see the view because of the trees. The room is clean and good service. Have massage in the hotel can see the sea.

The hotel is located in a good location right on the beach, the only problem we had with the accomodation was that our room was changed when we arrived and there was no hot water. Other than that the facilities was good and close to the main street.

Bad service overall and they asked for a non advertised 3000THB deposit.They also overcharge naive tourists. We paid 900THB for a 2 beds bedroom with private bathroom and a bathtub, which is kinda fair, some people paid twice that.

Cant fault this place at all.Check in was smooth and easy.Rooms are spacious, with balcony.Aircon is great.Breakfast is good, served on the beach and available till 10.30WiFi was okay, but a stretch in the rooms.Prices for restaurant are standard for the area.Pool is massive, with jets and waterfalls fun for kids and adults. Plenty of sun chair space.5-10minute walk from the boat pier to Railay beach, 7-11, doctors office and both cheap food places, and more expensive ones. Its right on the beach.Fully recommended, worked out at £18.50 per night for a twin room with breakfast. Absolutely amazing. 5/5, will stay again

Great location opposite the beach and 1 minute walk to town .Big clean rooms . Big clean swimming pool.Only criticism is the Aircon was loud and not very quiet.For the price it is an amazing hotel.

One of the best location in Ao Nang Krabi. The villas have sea view, the rooms inside dont have sea view.Walking to beach is less than a minWe only had breakfast here and it was decent though small spread.Many restaurants, tours, massage places are very nearby and walkable. You can also rent a bike.

Nice rooms but very poor breakfast. Each morning only fried rice and fried noodles, no vegetables, and the same fruit (watermelon and dragon fruitevery day.

Great hotel lovely views from the balcony. Great rooms, everything well maintained, the pool is super nice. But why close the pool at 6pm that is just wrong. Would love to hang by the pool until 9pm like everywhere else.If this was fixed this hotel would be perfect. Would still recommend despite the weird pool policy.

Clean and spacious room complete with amenities. Staffs are accommodating and great location as it is next to the beach. You can choose/upgrade accommodation. My 3rd stay already.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Golden Beach Resort. You can hear the crashing of the waves from Ao Nang beach because its just a few meters away across the driveway. The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom was quite nice. We are at the restaurant for breakfast and a couple of other meals and appreciated the delicious food and excellent service. It was a good place to unplug especially due to the weak internet, lol. There are many restaurants and within walking distance including pharmacies, clinic, Motorbike rental, 7 Eleven, and tour offices.

A fantastic stay in a quirky villa, excellent super friendly staff, food superb, there is also a restaurant 5 mins away, called the Last fishermen, was excellent too well worth a visit, or several, as we did. We would go back there as the pool had an amazing view of the mountain but the only down side for us was the very hard bed, it maybe that other beds there are different but ours was our only complaint.

Realy good resort right on the beach, rooms are nice and big, breakfast is good. Staff are realy friendly and helpful. Highly reccomend this place i will be back soon

Great location (shops, tour offices, restaurants, and songathaew just a few minutes away on foot), nice pool with a beautiful view of the cliffs, clean rooms, and steps from the beach. Great value for the price; would stay here again!

Booked a low budget room and its was absolutely ok, had a lot of mosquitoes in the room but just a call to the reception and they solved the problem. The air-condition was a bit annoying, but for the price absolutely acceptable.

Nice hotel. Unfortunately due is swimming pool worked only from 9am till 6pm, but I guess because they dont want to have noise from the pool too early and too late (also staff was cleaning it)They put two split beds together and it became enormous! Mattress is hard and comfy

There is nice rooms.The service we got and all the staff was nightmare...We came and they dont see our booking, so we wait with kids out of the room until they found it.We asked questions (ex: taxi, time for breakfast, shuttle etc..and we got very short and cold answers..The food was without chooses and a lot of ants in all around they jam, batter in on the pancakes...In the end, when we had taxi to airport and we super hurry, they realize they Agoda (another bad tourist companydidnt pay them what we paid in advance to Agoda....I dont like it but this is why they got 2 stars only...

Super friendly and kind management and staff here. They were so kind to set up this special dinner for us when one of us had a birthday. Even supplied 2 butlers for us to create a good atmosphere!

Looking at maps for hotels and wanted to stay on the water. Came over to Ao Nang beach. Went into the Golden Beach asked for a sea view room. She said I only have EPB111 left, do you want to see it? We said sure. It was a done deal!! 30ft from the beach. It was an Executive bungalow - Huge! Huge jacuzzi tub with glass ceiling as well. It was a great place to stay and watch the sunsets! Ferry to Phi Phi was a 5 min drive from hotel. We had breakfast at The Coffee Company in mornings. Short 5 min walk from our room. Restaurant at hotel beside the beach was good which you are able to see sunsets as well.

Big rooms, nice pool.But everything is getting really old there. Especially the bed who were the hardest I ever slept on in Thailand. But the price was 600thb, so, at this price, its fine

The hotel was good. But I did not like that they keep wilds birds in a cage. I would stay longer but this is why I left. Also you can fall at night near the pool. There is no light and we almost broke are legs

Beautiful resort close to the beach, especially the Cliff view. The room was quite old style but very well maintained. Services was excellent. Most important, the price is really affordable. Breakfast was in standard, with various choices. It was goood, and over my expectation. Recommended!!Only drawback is, small parking area. I cannot imagine if the hotel is fully occupied. Where the guest park their car.

Great located hotel. Easy to find. It’s near the shops and restaurants. The room is nice and clean. The staffs are full of service mind (I asked them many things and they were so helpfulThe best thing is the beach is in front of the hotel. Can’t wait to be back!
