This bar has been here for what seems like forever. Longevity equals success though and while the Gold Coast is very unassuming, it has always attached a good sized crowd on the weekends and is a friendly neighborhood type of bar. The crowd is slightly older than what you might find at the larger dance clubs West of La Cienega but there is a lot less attitude and a very much more friendly vibe here. Drink prices are reasonable and there isnt a cover charge so it is also friendly on your wallet. If you havent been here yet, give it a try some weekend. It might not replace your favorite bar around the San Vicente area but you might be surprised by how much fun a change of venue can be every now and then.

I have been going to the Gold Coast in the 80’s 90’s and 2000s. Always had a good time! My friends are gone and so many good memories are left I wish everyone a wonderful time at the Gold Coast!! Best place in town to meet with friends❤️👍🍸🥂

Good bar to fall into. Bartender was nice, Dim lit, easy to get a drink, some people were with friends like normal folk, but for a small bar there were several people just sitting by themselves not talking or maybe even drinking, it was kinda strange... also the bathroom smells like a barn.

Great bar , friendly staff. Reasonable prices and chilled for some of us that arent 18 or goddesses.

Came here for a professional meeting staff was lovely shots were big and let’s just say this traveler got the mouthful he was looking for.

I was Visiting from Atlanta last Year...Wanted to find a Small Neighborhood Bar close to Hotel....This was the One...Great drinks, The Nicest Crowd....People were so Friendly....Ill be back....Just the Best!!

Great neighborhood bar! This is one of our first stops when we visit West Hollywood. The drinks are strong and inexpensive...which is nice since most WeHo bars have drink prices that rival a small car payment! Billy and Greg are our two favorite bartenders and will treat you right. Stop by and say hi!

THIS place is one of the few places left in weho worth going! You will meet actual human beings in this place. One of the best places to hang if you dont need to be surrounded by 12-year-old gay twinks. Also one of the best places to hang on PRIDE!

Cozy place, catered to gay community, but no one else is turned away. They only have Budweiser and Bud Lite on draft, everything else on tap. Full bar. Music box and pool tables available.

Great neighborhood bar. You walk in to a dark spacious bar with wonderful service. The clientele is nice and friendly. If you want an easy no fuss bar, this is your place.

So fun. A bit of a San Francisco Castro-district vibe. Great staff and wicked good karaoke on Sundays. So glad they installed dartboards now - and the original cigar store Indian is still there, facing the DJ booth. Dont ever miss the midsummer RED DRESS PARTY!

Been awhile since been here , very friendly staff. No attitude witch is big plus !!

The bartender is always pleasant and super friendly. The crowd is a bit older but enthusiastic. Always receive a very good treatment when I visit this bar.

Small casual place to start the night

My favorite gay bar in LA by a long shot. The bar tenders are all super friendly. They have a jukebox and a DJ on Friday and Saturday nights. Reasonable prices. Good happy hour. And its usually the type of crowd you can strike up a conversation with if youre flying solo.
