Recommend taking a pop-up canopy because the sun gets hot. Gets windy Im the afternoon, so bring sand bags or stakes to hold down canopy. Due to the winds, rental equipment closes up shop and also bathrooms unexpectedly.Arrive early for a close parking spot and grab a table on the sandy beach. May want to take ant spray for the ants around the tables.

Very nice park on the bay. We got there at noon and there was plenty of space to choose from and we even got a table to set up at for a small birthday party. The beach isnt too big, so it was easy to watch the kids from the grass area. Plenty of shade from the trees. Parking is a bit limited, but theres more spots by the pool, which isnt too far of a walk. The bathroom was ok and what Id expect at a beach bathroom. I would return again

I came here for a friends birthday party and it was a really pretty Park with places to have a bonfire and clean restrooms and a playground for the children and walking areas (paved). Right by the water so theres sand for kids to play in as well. Very nice Park!

Gloriana Bay is an amazing place to kick back and relax. Its alive with activity on the weekends with cookouts and water sports. But during the week its calm, peaceful, and amazingly serene. I love laying on a blanket on the grass and surfing my ipad. The surroundings absolutely beautiful. Theres a launching ramp for your boats and the beach which is perfect for kids to swim in as well as launching inflatables and kayaks. I could spend almost everyday here.

Peaceful and clean ... Not trashed by the locals from across the Bay ... who have no conception or understanding of how to treat and share a park and leave it in the same condition you found it in and are incapable of picking up their trash and walk 15 feet to put it in the trash can and play Loud obnoxious music ... it appears to be a geographical cultural thing

One of the few public docks in San Diego Bay. 4 hour limit on the outer edge and the single ~16ft wide slip right inside. Plenty of short term dock for launching trailered boats, plus a nice area to tie your dinghy if youre anchored off Stingray Point. Theres even handicapped access for kayakers.

Nice, relaxing place in Coronado to go and bbq or picnic and spend time with the fam or SO, if its not too crowded. Even when it is more crowded, its still relaxing and people are, in my experience so far, respectful of everyone else. Got some nice views of downtown, which I thought looked pretty neat at night. I forgot my phone, so I went back and took a few pics. Although, be careful if youre there around 11 pm. The sprinklers started watering the grass, unbeknownst to me as a new resident, and they got me pretty good. They spray the sidewalk as well and when I went to dodge one, the next one would get me. Their sprinklers have pretty good coverage.😂😂😂

Little out of the way, but worth it. Water is super calm and probably the clearest in San Diego, relatively warmer than the ocean as well due to it being a bay within the bay.

Nice little beach for swimming with kids who are not ready to the surf yet. The marine life is not very abundant, you can find a few fish and lots of oysters at the rocky area. There is a kayak and SUP rental.

Beautiful and packed with people. Who would want to go somewhere else? The serenity of the area coupled with a view of downtown San Diego, the SD Coronado bridge and the Hotel Del and the Coronado golf course makes this a number one spot. Parking is always fun, but hey it’s free parking too!!!

Great outdoor play area for small kids, the Coronado beach Glorietta Bat park offers a great spot for the family, its restrooms are very clean, it has a ramp for water toys, with access to and from the bay. We would definitely be back to this beautiful hidden gem, it is by far the best beach spot for people with small kids.

This place is a hidden gem and it has everything you need for a good outdoor day. It has a decent size park with swings and slides. You can also fish off the dock without a fishing license or play in the sand near the bay water or have a picnic on all the geen grass.

Excellent Bay and Park. Our mothers day was perfect I couldnt ask for more. The landscape well kept and manicured and clean. Bathrooms ans showers are readily available and flanked both sides of the park. The water was managable and canoo rentals are onsite. I actually took a swim in the peninsula and checked up on my yacht. The park offers a playground shade and a landing slip for small vessels. Dont know if liquor is allowed, we didnt have any nor did the other families enjoying that day. Police presence was none though our family is. The park wasnt crowded there was plenty of parking. I could go on talking about this place is but Ill let the photos do the talking on that mothers day. Put it on your to do list!

Great place to launch kayaks, paddle boards and swimming. Pet friendly as long as your dog is on a leash. We found parking very easily. I would give 5 stars except there is an occasional sewage smell.
