Its a really short course
Honestly, Im reluctant to put a bad review out there because I found the staff that ran our zipline adventure to be fantastic, but the management response is completely lacking. We bought the Groupon deal for 4 people, including zipline, lunch and photos. We made reservations two weeks before arriving. Upon arrival, we found our "lunch" to be a box lunch from Jimmy Johns (sandwich, bag of chips, cookie and a bottle water). This place claims to have a restaurant so I had higher expectations on the food. Second, we were eventually informed that there would be no photos. Right before, we headed out for the zipline, I asked about the photos and was told, "Oh, sorry but we dont have a photographer". Ok, now what, it was part of our package that we paid for. I was told that management would refund part of our package for us. I was disappointed but what else can you do. The zipline was fun. It was 2 quick ziplines across the river and back. The staff did a great a job making it fun and feel very safe. After our adventure we were told again that the "management" would be contacting us to give us a refund for the missing photos. Our trip was on July 19th, we never received a call from management, Ive since called three times now. Let a message once and actually talked to someone twice. Each time leaving my information and was told management would be in touch. Its been almost 2 months, still no one has attempted to make this right. Disappointing, what could of been a great experience has now turned bad.
Sam, Colten, kyra, cole we’re amazing made our first time zip lining a blast! Definitely recommend this place!!
Friendly professional and fun staff. Very supportive of first time flyers.
The staff is extremely friendly and their great attitude makes the experience that much more enjoyable. Reccomended to arrive on time for the bus.
Awesome experience.. zipline folks were great and gave us a plenty of time to adjust and learn the techniques. Totally a fun experience.
We purchased a Zipline package online and scheduled our adventure about 48 hours before our appt. Their email response said it needed to be confirmed before being official. Leading up to our appt time we talked to them a couple of times to try to confirm up but they said they needed two extra people. Still not having a confirmation one way or another on the day of the trip, we finally decided to cancel. Upon canceling they informed us that THEY WOULD NOT REFUND US since we couldnt select another appt time. They canceled on us and wouldnt refund our money. We told them this was ridiculous and they said they would talk to the manager and get back to us. They still have not. I wish I could say otherwise, but the whole situation was handled incredibly poorly and we still havent been refunded.
Highly recommend the No Name experience! Alex was a personable rafting guide. I loved all the knowledge that he shared. Yesenia was like a Guide out of a Disney movie. She gave clear instructions & really knew how to connect with the group. You guys are lucky to have them on your team. The bar tender was sweet and patient. Over all, incredible staff, good food and even better vibes.
The Zipline is pretty "meh" but definitely is a good place to start if you are a beginner. The staff is VERY friendly and awesome to talk to. Shout out to - Colton, Joelle, Abby, Sam, and Tyler who took very good care of us.Our package included rafting(which I would definitely recommend). The actual "white water" part is only the beginning, so dont go into it with big expectations - that said, it was perfect for our group because we had never done it before. Our guide, Alex, is an awesome dude and had a lot of insightful things to say about the rest of journey down the river. It was really nice to be able to enjoy all of those scenic views after the intense beginning to the journey. I would definitely recommend getting Alex as your guide, but truthfully - all of the people there are awesome and seem to love their jobs.
It was an amazing experience
Our family of 6 zip lined with Colton and Sydney and loved every minute! They did a wonderful job of making this first timer feel comfortable and confident! So much so, I was even able to free fall backwards by the end. I highly recommend them!!
TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEPLACE ELSE.The company screwed us out of our money when we came down with covid and couldn’t keep our scheduled appointment. Even though I called days in advance to change it, they refused to reschedule.
Abby and Colton were great instructors!! Very enthusiastic and supportive! I would do this all over again! Great experience!
Kathy Schneider is the most incompetent "Owner" i have ever encountered, i will be filing a report with the BBB as well as the board of directors at the Colorado Adventure Center and/or as well as looking into legal action for false advertisement.
Its so pretty there and so funny especially the bridge of doom
We ziplined for happy hour and had a great time! Staff was cool and safety was their #1 priority. Also it was nice to hit the bar after and have a pina colado.
It was a family time, so amazing
False advertisement! Short course, rude people, DO NOT RECOMMEND. You will go stay in a expensive cabin. Not worth it
Im not sure why this place only has 3 stars, it was wonderful. I called and made reservations, I was the only one in my party. For $45 I got to zip line and got a USB of pictures!! Its a short course over the river, but very safe and exciting. Luke and Jake were my guides and they were knowledgeable and entertaining! If I lived closer Id come back and bring my friends.
Sadly we went for ziplining and not open for the season yet HOWEVER we got to drive around, look at the river and made this Florida family happy as my daughter got to build her first snowman on campsite 11. Cant wait to visit again.
I was led to believe ziplining was opened Im not just going to come out to stay in a cabin. I wanted to go zipline. This is false advertisement..
We were in town for the weekend and bought tickets to the Zip Line thinking it was for Sunday 5/12, when we showed up at our scheduled time we found out the zip line wasnt open and our reservation for Sunday the 26th. We asked for a refund as we would not be still in town thats when the gentleman behind the counter said I would have to wait till Monday. We were then charged 20$ on the 13th for a cancelation fee. Really? It was two weeks away from the travel time we spent there. It literally cost them no money, harm, or foul but they saw the need to basically Debow money away from us. I will never book a ride with them again. Shady business practice that you have going there. Thank God it only cost me 20$, will never use your service in the future. By the way they can fall back on I should have read the fine print nonsense but pardon me for expecting a little more integrity from small town country folk! Beware people: the minute you PUSH CONFIRM, you are committed to 10$ per person no matter what!
This year we went to Yellowstone and Colorado for our summer vacation. Our kids love Ziplining every summer vacation and we found Glenwood on our way home. We had a blast ziplining over the Colorado River and were delight with the service we received at Glenwood. Matt was professional over the phone explaining everything to us and in person. We definitely felt safe having our children zipline with him.Thank you Glenwood for an awesome experience!
Great way to spend a day.
Bad experience. Picked up pamphlet at Colorado rest area. Decided to go after Hot Springs. Got there to be told must have a reservation. Can make one now... must have at least 4 people. NO MENTION OF THAT ON THE PAMPHLET! We would have stayed longer at the hot springs! Left and will never be back. Went to Royal Gorge and zip lined there.
I would give this 0 stars if I could because the customer service is absolutely worthless. We planned on going during happy hour to go as many times as we wanted and so we left a voicemail and the next day when we planned on ziplining they claimed they had “deleted the voicemail” and that we had to have 4 or more people zip line. On a Saturday afternoon why is there not more than 4 people on a zipline??!!!!!
Very short course. Just 2 lines. But it is across the river
We had a pary of 10, zip line and raft, must say we got exactly what we payed for. Great staff and beautful country 5 stars folks ! Sweet bartender 2, Ivy ;)
Zip lining here is not worth the time and money unless youre 12 and under. One zip over the river and then right back you spend more time waiting for your turn to go than anything. The guide arent professional rather flirt then actually pay attention to safety precautions, 2 mins of training. Rafting here is worth it. The rafting guides gets everyone involved getting to know each other and do a great job of making it a really fun experience.
We had the most awesome experience and enjoyed our adventure. The zip bosses were awesome and i want to thank them for making the experience unforgettable. The only thing was we wanted t-shirts to remember the experience but they hadnt put them out yet.
Absolutely worthless customer service. Lied on the phone about times. Flier says 3 to 5 but dont believe it. Was told to arrive anytime between 3 to 5 with a group of 5 and would be allowed to zip line. Standard treatment of customers in a target rich environment. Stay away!
Mind blowing and amazing zip line experience with you Thank You.
It was awesome zip line experience.
