Located in downtown Glenwood Springs, this simple hotel is a 6-minute walk from Glenwood Hot Springs Pool and 12 minutes from Glenwood Springs Station. The straightforward rooms have microwaves, minifridges, flat-screen TVs with cable channels, and free Wi-Fi.Continental breakfast, parking and a train station shuttle are all free. There's also an on-site Bavarian-style restaurant.
Rooms were clean. Staff was wonderful. Breakfast was great. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends and family.
Visiting Glenwood Springs for the 1st time. At 1st glance the Glenwood Springs Inn appears like a quaint place but after getting to our room there were signs that the room wasnt as clean as it could be, hair in shower, on floor, etc. However, when we were getting ready to climb into bed it was apparent the bed had NOT been changed from the last guest, it looked like a girl had her period on the sheets. The evening staff came right away to change all the bedding, but we were quite disgustied with the room after that.
Stayed here 2 nights October 2022. Extremely clean and front office was efficient and helpful. Good location to walk to the hot springs pool and shopping. Will definitely be back and recommend to friends, and family.
Great location and place to stay in Glenwood Springs. The Queen room was very spacious and clean. Check-in was easy and informative. Bed was comfortable and there were nice blankets, if needed. I would definitely stay again if in the area, which is highly likely at the town looks like it would be fun to explore further.
My wife and I stayed at Glenwood Springs Inn for 2 nights at the end of September while we visited the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park and some local hot springs. The Inn is rather small at only 2 stories and has a pretty tight parking lot, but for its size we were very impressed with its quality. The rooms are large and clearly recently remodeled very tastefully. Each room came with a mini-fridge and microwave and were very, very clean. The only negatives my wife had were that our room didnt have a coffee pot and although the shower was very hot, the water pressure was not very good. There is a terrific Bavarian restaurant attached to the parking lot and another building that serves as the breakfast area. The Caverns are within 3 mins walking distance and all of the other restaurants are within 10 to 25 mins walking distance. We had a wonderful time in Glenwood Springs and recommend the Inn as a nice place to stay.
The service was very good, and the room was very comfortable and clean. The location is excellent. I felt rushed at breakfast, when the cleaning ladies came in to clean the breakfast room, and stated shutting everything down, 15 minutes prior to 9:00 am; which was the end time for breakfast.
This place is very convenient to the pools, the gondola and downtown. The room was very clean and modern. The only thing we werent wild about was the continental breakfast. It lacked in our opinion. That being said, I would still return there. Also, they had a charger for my car. Nice! Steve and Vicki G.
Nice, reasonably priced, clean hotel. Refrigerator and microwave in the room. Breakfast included a waffle-maker and hard-boiled eggs (still warm!and what looked like a good selection of donuts along with the usual oatmeal, bagels and toast, plus yogurt. No problems at all. Centrally located, close to hot springs and the adventure park, which was a blast.... the Alpine Coaster might be the best ride Ive ever been on. I would definitely stay here again!
Room was great. It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Walking distance to lots of resturants. I would stay here again if we ever pass through Glenwood Springs in the future.
Stayed here for a night and really enjoyed the stay! The room was clean and updated with good quality finishings. Everything worked well and the staff was very friendly! The only complaint I had was the water pressure was quite low, but honestly not a huge deal especially with how nice everything else was and how reasonably priced the stay was. I’d definitely recommend staying here. Also got 10% off at Glenwood Caverns here!
Very comfortable and clean. The staff was courteous and helpful.Appears to be recently remodeled.Would definitely recommend to friends.
My husband and I had a very pleasant stay at Glenwood Springs Inn.The room and bath were both clean and comfortable. The staff were allso helpful and courteous. We also enjoyed the breakfast.
Clean. Nice layout of the rooms. I really like the pop open windows. The tiny one in the bathroom is too cute. The only downside was the side of the tub is really high. I imagine that someone older than myself with balance problems would have trouble, otherwise, wonderful.
Nice, clean place to stay. It was close to everything we wanted to do. The only negative was that there were no dressers to put your clothes in. Other than that, it was a great stay.
Clean and very friendly and helpful staff. Checking in and out seamless. Like that it is locally owned and operated. Breakfast ok, we were able to make due with the options they had and hit the road and stopped a few hours later for lunch. Would definitely stay again if traveling through the area.
The place is an old motel that has been renovated. There is a volleyball court and playground on site. Hot springs is just as advertised, about a 6 minute walk. Despite being on a busy street, the rooms are quiet. Good family place.
WOW! Unexpectedly Awesome. Clean Comfy Rooms & Great Staff.Breakfast was Decent. Would never normally stay in a Motel. WOULD stay here anytime! Nice Surprise for the price!
PLEASE STAY ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR HEALTH & CLEANLINESS! This hotel room was maybe the worst stay I’ve had. There were ants in the bathroom, which I overlooked at first as the space seemed okay otherwise (didn’t have to much time to examine it). I was exhausted & my lungs were flaring up out of no where so I decided to sleep as check in was so late. In the morning I woke up to shower after the hot springs & the shower had mold all over the inside of the curtain. Multiple large spots of dark mold that clearly took time to develop. The photos I took were with the curtain closed, as I didn’t want to inhale any more mold particles from the larger spots of mold in the middle of the curtain. Keep in mind the bathroom is small & is located 2 feet from the bed you sleep in. No wonder my breathing issues were flared during my stay. The hotel has completely refused to offer even a discount for this even after providing photos. They are perfectly okay to have you sleep next to mold & charge you $240 a night to do so. Please for your health & cleanliness stay elsewhere. The bed was also very stiff & uncomfortable, and during check in/out the staff was rude & cold.
My stay at the Glenwood Springs Inn was great! This was my third time staying there- room was cleanly, breakfast was good and fresh, and there is a lovely small rooftop to do some star gazing! Walking distance from Hot springs and town area. Service was excellent and accommodating. Will keep coming back!
This area is clean with the beds are soft and comfortable, the area comes with a microwave and fridge plus a small area to hang your things . Overall I would book here again
Nice basic motel in Glenwood Springs. Very clean and comfortable. Seems like a well run family business. I would stay here again.
This place was amazing! Clean, quiet, great value. Loved the deals that they offer. The Cafe out front was fantastic. Great gluten free dairy free options.
Good value compared to other places in town. Clean, easy parking and comfortable beds. We have been staying at other hotels in town that sometimes cost double what this place does, for the same basic amenities.
Both the main room and the bathroom were spacious and very clean. Busy part of town and I was afraid the road noise would be obnoxious, but the room was also well sound-proofed. Handy location to the Hot Springs Pool. Would definitely choose this hotel again!
The rooms looked recently renovated and were in good shape, clean, and the AC worked well. They also have two EV chargers, which saved me from needing to pay and stop on the way home. They could do more to keep gas vehicles from parking in the spots, which will become more important as EVs become more popular.
The Inn is in a great spot...we could walk downtown and get to everything really easy. Even though the room was not ready when we checked it, got the keys but it was still being cleaned, the lady preparing the room was so kind and allowed us to put stuff in the room. Breakfast was simple and that was just fine.... they have waffles! Check in and out was fast and the little kitchen area was a plus.
The bed was horribly hard and the pillows flat as a pancake. Not enjoyable for my middle aged body. Otherwise, great location, friendly staff. Typical hotel breakfast. P
This place is really an amazing under the radar hotel. The room offered a very clean and efficient place to stay as it is walking distance to some of the best attractions. We stayed 4 nights and hated to check out.
This place was fantastic! After I made a mistake in my booking, the front office was so accommodating and helped us book a room. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the inn has beautiful views of the mountains. The location is very conveniently located to downtown, multiple hot springs, and bike rentals. I truly can’t recommend this place enough, or thank the staff enough for their kind hospitality! Can’t wait to come back and stay even longer!
The only thing I wish the hotel had was a pool. And maybe extend the continental breakfast till 10 am. Other than that its a good hotel, friendly staff
This place was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, fairly quiet room. Continental breakfast was light but included coffee, fresh fruit, yogurt and pastry, which was perfect for us. Great central location.
Location, amenities, staff. Glenwood Springs Inn has it all. The guest room was comfortable, clean, updated and quiet. The staff was exceptional in terms of their responsiveness and presence on the property. We really appreciated the secure car charging stations on the property. We were able to walk to restaurants, the Hot Springs Pool, parks and river trails. Thank you for the lovely stay.
Very well maintained and clean. Good amenities. Breakfast was a bit sparse and chaotic mostly due to a large crowd. Good location. Walking distance to glenwood pool and restaurants.
Our room was clean. We had no issues during our stay. I got exactly what I paid for and Im happy with that. My family had a great time in Glenwood and that was assisted by the fact that I didnt spend $1500 on a hotel room for a 3 night stay. The shower water pressure was great, the a/c worked great, and the beds slept great. There was breakfast every morning until 9. If you miss that Rosies is right next door. They have great food and great Bloody Marys.
The bed is more comfortable than some high-end hotels Ive stayed in! The sheets are soft, too. Theres a fridge, a microwave, everything is spotlessly clean, and the water gets good and hot in the shower. Theres even charging stations for your EV. For a fairly basic motel, I am pretty impressed.
This is a nice hotel and its location is close to everything for us. We could walk to places to eat. We did our laundry.....very convenient.I would recommend this to people. The price for the room was reasonable and they didnt raise the price on the weekends. These people are very fair.
This was my first stop on a 1900 mile trip I have to complete in 3 days... all I wanted was a good night of sleep. That didnt happen. The couple in the room right next door were fighting and screaming at each other for hours. I tried calling the front desk to report the problem... no answer. Finally, at 3:30am the police showed up. This should have been a good experience (I expected nothing from them except to sleep)... but it was horrible. $163 down the drain. I do not blame them for unruly guests... but they should have been available to FIX it. Wont be back.
AVOID this unless you dont have a place to stay.Dont book if youre traveling with friends or colleagues. We were a group of 8 and booked 2 rooms. Bathrooms in both the rooms were faulty. One wouldnt close at all and both of them dont have locks. The lady at the front desk was rude. She stated "Its not like someone will break in to your bathroom". I didnt pay for this.2 stars only because it was liveable and the views were good.
We stayed overnight here while traveling around CO. The location of the hotel is excellent, right next to downtown. The room was in good condition and very clean. My only complaint was there is no coffee maker in the room nor is there any coffee available in the lobby. Realizing that after we arrived, I got a take out coffee the night before and reheated it in the microwave to get myself going in the morning. It is a decent place for the price.
A lot of the reviews on here are what got me to book at this place and I regret booking here. As soon as we got in our room our room was very dirty with hair on the bathroom floor everywhere. The building is very old and not very quiet. People with sound sensitivities should not stay here as Im very sound sensitive and was triggered the entire time from hearing our neighbors and traffic sounds. They do not have fire retardant curtains like they should and the curtains are extremely dirty. The kitchenette was very nice to have, they have a microwave and a mini fridge with a small kitchen sink. Though they have a continental breakfast they dont have very many gluten free options for those that are celiac like me. Im glad I brought my own cereal. The building is old and the plumbing is terrible, the toilet could barely even flush with only water. The water pressure in the building is terrible, worse than usual hotels. The only huge benefit to staying here is its close to a lot of the attractions and within walking distance to downtown, the hot springs and plenty of restaurants. Its also only about a mile away from the adventure park lift entrance. Its good for the price kind of, but Id probably see if other places are available in the area first. The people working seem nice, they did check in on if we needed more of anything but I would take everything into consideration before staying here.
We never got checked in. Our booking site said pet friendly. They do not allow pets. We went to check in and found this out. I informed her we had a service dog and was told it didnt matter. They were kind enough to cancel us with no penalty but trying to find a room at 3 PM was a challenge.
Good, clean, basic hotel with comfy beds. Decent continental breakfast with lots of choices. Worst part was the terrible coffee. Great place to stay other than that. Very convenient to downtown and hot springs.
The rooms were clean but the TV quite small and no coffee pot in the room which saddened my heart. The continental breakfast sadly had no proteins offered except yogurt. Just a bunch of carbs and sugar. No bacon or sausage and the coffee, not the greatest either. Friendly staff and great location though!
Stayed for one night for my birthday weekend. The room is alright. The location is great! However, there were a lot of bugs coming into the room when we open the door at night. We stayed spring break of 2022. There were a lot of bugs which drove me insane. Breakfast was decent. Waffles, hard boiled eggs, coffee, basic pastry, yogurt, organge juice.
