What a beautiful experience. Although it was a bit crowded, it was not overwhelming. We were easily able to find a soaking spot. It was also a great moment to unplug and relax. We enjoyed a soak in the big pool which sits about 90 degrees. There were too many people in the small pool which is hotter. Another visit is definitely in the books in the future.

Loved it, as always! First time I had been there since before COVID. Not having to pay for lockers was refreshing. The womens locker room was in good shape. Swimming in the pool was as wonderful as I remembered from about 3 years ago and many, many previous times. Lifeguards were very accommodating for minor assistance I required due to a disability. I greatly enjoyed my swim. The towel/suit spinner helped dry things out some before we left.

Great place to visit! Pool was awesome! Felt like a nice vacation being in the 104° waters! Pool was clean, staff was friendly, other visitors were friendly as well just enjoying the natural hot springs. Felt rejuvenating!! We want to go back when the therapy pool is finished! Plenty of seating for everyone and showers were clean and bathrooms were well kept. Kids enjoyed the lazy river and tubing. Overall a great time! The food wasnt that bad. A little pricey but the double cheeseburger was made fresh and was juicy. The ice cream was huge!

What a great place to spend a day!!! The large pool was just the right temperature to swim in. The hot pool was great for relaxing. My kids loved the diving board and we all had fun on the Shoshone Chutes tube ride. We splurged and got a cabana for part of the day and it was totally worth it:)

We have been coming here for many years and its one of my all time favorite places to relax. Unfortunately this was probably the worse experience in twenty-five years. The large therapy pool is closed for renovations. This fact should be clearly stated on their calendar, like the closures for pool maintenance. The replacement for the therapy pool closure is a pool in the childrens area. Very crowded and the same temperature as the regular pool area. The upper locker rooms were closed for renovation and I could not find this information on the website. Consequently, the lower locker room was ridiculously crowded, hard to maneuver thru, and really dirty. Several bathroom stalls did not have toliet paper, there was trash on the floor and no soap to wash hands in the sink area. Also, in years past you could bring drinks and food in. Now there are signs everywhere saying this is prohibited. If you want to have no food or drink, keep the snack bar open during pool hours. I appreciate the need to renovate the facilities and I believe once this project is completed it will be a great place to visit again. This visit was a waste of money and time.Update: Visited with the family and the hot springs are wonderful again. Most of the renovations are done, the locker rooms were not too crowded and clean. Also, the therapy pool is back open. The bubble chairs are not yet installed and there is still a fence up where the old childrens pool was. Prices are pretty high and there is no night time swim rate. Still cannot bring in food or drink but the snack bar, with a really long line, was open Overall, a great experience, plan on spending a few hours here.

Just two yrs ago…an adult pass was $29.00 I believe…today August 22, 2022 it’s now 39.00…2yrs ago we were allowed to bring in our coolers in order to make our own lunch and have our own drinks…that today is not possible….no senior or military discounts…if you are saying you had to raise the prices because of Covid and updates to pool and revenue lost during the past 2 yrs…we’ll that’s not gonna fly with me…shame on you for pricing the average family from enjoying what was once an enjoyable experience…we have been coming here for over 20+ yrs….and will not be returning in the future…maybe pass this review onto upper management and maybe rethink some of your policies….also…I must have seen a dozen people walk all the over to use a restroom that is no longer there…with a sign that says….”Restroom”…south side of pool half way down…better signage needed for the one restroom on the west end of pool…

2022-August. We arrived late afternoon on a Saturday. We had difficulty finding parking. There were lots of chairs available around the pools perimeter. The temperature in the main big pool was good, not too hot. Great for kids playing. There was a diving board at the other end where the water is 12-ft deep. Yes, there were life guards around. There was a line in the diving board, and a longer line in the tube-slide. There are few lanes for lap swimming. The smaller pool at the opposite end is a lot hotter, great for relaxing.Food from the grill was quite pricey. But good enough. Burgers, wraps, hot dogs, fries, smoothies, soft ice cream, etc, are available. The line to order moves very slowly. It took 40 minutes for us to be able to order. And additional 10 more minutes to get our fries and ice cream. It was yummy but maybe because we were so hungry by the time we got our food, lol. There were lots of showers and changing rooms. A liquid soap dispenser is placed in every shower. Lockers were available for free, but the ones I tried didnt lock.Have a great relaxation!

What a great way to relax and spend time with the family. We spent a good chunk of our day enjoying the pool. Towels are $4.00 to rent. So if you want to save that money, make sure to bring your own towel. We forgot ours and just bought one in the gift shop because it was the same price as renting 3 towels. Not a complaint, just a tip. Hope you have a great time!

Wonderful place for rejuvenating the whole family. I havent been in a long time, and now there is a kids area with a splash pad, slides, a very shallow pool for babies, and a small pool with a waterfall. There was a slide small enough for my 2yo to go down by himself and stand up at the bottom. Our skin has never felt better from all of the minerals in the water. We will definitely be returning.

I was so impressed. I mean. The price was way higher than I thought it would be, but there was way more to do than I thought. There is a huge 104 pool. So awesome. My fave. Then, just a warmish huuuge pool , marked deeper wnd, and 1w ft area with a diving board. It also has a cute small kiddo n splash area, and lazy/crazy ride on a tube and hope ya dont have an accident when ya get scared nearly falling off your tube area. Ba ha ha. My 6 yo was freaked out by it.It was wonderful! We cant wait to go back!

Pool like always, is fun. However, the prices for the pool are ridiculous!! For the past 10 years I have been visiting every summer, but I dont think that I will go again. The grill is the same every year. They have not changed the menu at all. I wandered if those people will now how to cook anything else other than cheeseburger, wraps, grilled chicken. Hot dog is 9 dollars a combo, but with chips. If you want fries, you must pay 2 dollars more. The double cheeseburger is over 15 Dollars. Not even at Texas Roadhouse a cheeseburger is over 15 bucks. Theyre taking advantage of people. Wasnt busy like a year ago. There is no music/radio playing on the background. It will be nice to hear music while staying in the pool. There rooms are exaggerated expensive. 500 bucks a night. WOW! I thought that is the Versaces house in Miami. Nothing changed there, except the prices.Hotel Colorado is amazing! Yes, thats a good place to stay. Hotel Denver is good too. Those two hotels are historical. It is worth it. I stayed in those before. I will rate them with 10 stars if I could.Im addition, I didnt like the way theyre treating people when they are buying tickets or rechecking in. Treating people like cattles.Take towels from home, otherwise they are asking for 4 dollars for a towel. Small, thin, flimsy towels.

I have been to Glenwood many, many times. I come from CaliforniA to visit Glenwood once a year. This time instead of the pools smelling like sulfur they smelled like chlorine. I asked an attendant and they said they were having problems maintaining the pools. Some of the slides were closed too and we were not informed before paying and coming in. We had kids with us and that would have been nice to know. When we got back to our hotel room a few hours later all our swim suits were ruined and bleached from the chlorine.

Nice improvements with a new larger therapeutic pool and better changing facilities. Kids pool area looked nice. Fairly expensive ($42/day/above 13and towel rate of $4 for a really cheaply made towel. Food is pricey - save your money and get machine vended drinks in the lobby to take in but remember to stamp your hand so you can get back in! Makes for a nice day at the pool however!

Visiting the worlds largest hot springs pool was so fun. We went on a Friday and it was not overly busy, which made it even more enjoyable. If you have an extra 90.00 rent a cabana. The chairs are more comfortable, covered and relaxing. Overall, the experience was really enjoyable and i would recommend it to anyone coming to the Glenwood Springs area.

Absolutely gorgeous views. We rented a cabana for the 2nd half of the day. They dont allow you to bring in drinks or food, but the snack bar closed at 3pm, leaving us with vending machines or leaving to eat and come back. Parking was a bit of an issue, so leaving wasnt something we wanted to do. If you are going to rent cabanas from 3pm-8pm, you should have the snack bar open the entire time. We figured we would get something from there since we cant bring food in. Oh well. There is construction happening right now (May 12), so it is noisy and congested. Overall a good experience, but the food situation is not optimal. They gave us 4 towels and 4 waters with the cabana rental. All 4 waters were solid chunks of ice. Not useful at all.

Must visit while in Glenwood Springs! Yes, during covid-19 you can not re enter but no masks now! And did I mention the new slides!?! Check it out. Special thank you to the slide staff helping out my kid to get positioned in the floating device for maximum safety. He had so much fun!!!Came back in May of 2022,. No masks! There is construction in the hot therapy pool and you get to enjoy the new pool by the fountains... By the slides. Loved sitting there in the hot water, relaxing after long day of hiking and gazing at the colorful waterfall with lights. Lovely evening. Hardly any people in the middle of the week.

Visited around 430pm, Water was at a great temperature, the facilities and surroundings were clean and the staff was friendly. There is a small splash zone for kids and an attraction of thrilling river that was closed due to the transition to the summer season. Lounge chairs & lockers were available at no extra cost. Bathrooms are well equipped to take shower and get ready to continue with your day. Definitely recommend this as an attraction for all ages. Our group had 3 toddlers and they had a blast.

I come here a few times a year, and I absolutely love it. But be aware that the therapy pool, which is the one that is 105° that I come here to partake in each time, its currently being remodeled and wont reopen until the end of May.The staff told me that the newer pool on the far side with the waterfalls was 105°, but this was untrue. It was the same temperature as the main pool, which is in the upper 90s.I did not see any information that there was a remodel going on, so Im putting it here in this review hoping that others will see this, and be informed.I went over into the Athletic Club for the first time which is adjacent to the pool, and they have an indoor mineral hot tub and a eucalyptus steam shower, as well as a wooden sauna. They let me upgrade from the pool by charging me only $18 rather than having me pay the full price after I explained that the staff gave me false info about the temperature of the new pool. This place has a really nice workout gym and 2 racquetball courts as well. Their locker rooms are a lot nicer as well. Granted, the newly renovated locker rooms in the main pool are still nice too. This is a great place to come to by yourself or to bring friends and family for a great time of relaxing and fun. Will be back to check out the newly renovated therapy pool soon!

I love soaking in hot springs. I wish they offered larger towels for rent. I wish the big pool was a bit more warm since the big therapy pool is currently under renovation. I like the smaller hot tub they made to help us bridge the missing big therapy pool. Wish I could do it more often.

Wow! The water was so warm and cleansing. The smell of sulfur was strong, but it’s easy to look past once you soak in the hot, mineral water. The therapy pool was closed, but we had a great time exploring the other pools! I would recommend to anyone, just spend a day relaxing in the springs!

I only give 4 stars because it was under construction for the new spa pool. They had a small tub in the upper level by the slide that was very warm but not hot like the old one used to be.All of the amenities and the family atmosphere were great.Back to 5 stars after the improvements

This is not the Glenwood Hot Springs experience you’re used to. The hot therapy pool is closed. They say they still have a hot pool but it is small, crowded and chlorinated… a glorified hot tub. The large pool is much too cool to be an enjoyable swim. They refused to issue a refund when we were dissatisfied even through we were just told we could get our money back. Very expensive mistake on our part. We saved up to make this trip and the manager was not understanding. Save your time and money and go to the other local hot spring pool. Note, you have 30 minutes to get all 4 kids into the pool, try out the water, debate whether it’s worth it to stay, get them out of the pool, showered, dressed, and back to the desk if you’re disappointed. There is no try before you buy. Best not to risk it.As for the response from the owner… the manager had an opportunity to make it right and keep a loyal customer.

A visit to Glenwood Springs is not compete without visiting Glenwood hot springs! Just a fun fact, its been there since 1888 and the worlds largest mineral hot springs pool!Humongous pool, perfect warmth, and nice vibes! They divided a portion of the pool for divers, swim lanes, and from what I recall, the depth goes as deep as 5 feet. Come on down and add it to your bucket list!

Our favorite hot springs ♨️Its nice because the kids can swim and splash and not bother people, the cooler pool could be a little warmer in the winter time. Weve never been during the summer to experience the slides but will need to make that happen. We go a few times a year here.

The view of the mountains is a 5 out of 5 but everything else was lacking. The website says no outside food or drinks, but there restaurant shuts down at 3pm…so apparently you can’t eat nor drink after that…But when we walked in a bunch of people had outside drinks so that was a huge disappointment. The pool was also packed with kids screaming, jumping, splashing you everywhere so it was not relaxing at all. The construction was also hard to miss around the pool & the locker room floors were nasty. We will not be back. The iron hot springs a few minutes away way 100000% better all around.

Went to Glenwood Springs for my birthday in January. Boy was it freezing out! But the hot springs made it all worthwhile. Two pools: the larger one is slightly cooler, at 99 degrees I believe, whereas the smaller one is much hotter, only 15-20 minutes are recommended. Make sure you bring and drink plenty of water, I almost passed out because you get hot and dehydrated quickly but don’t want to leave the comfort and warmth of the pools. Make sure you bring flip flops or sandals for the locker rooms and a quick get around. The water at the Grill Restaurant is spectacular, it includes many beneficial minerals. Also be sure to check out the gift shop! I was impressed with their selection and prices. A must visit.

If you are high risk for covid, I wouldn’t go unless it was a weekday. I was here last night, the 104 temp one was nice but damn was it a covid cesspool. $26 per person, no reservations needed, showers were dirty, no soap, bathrooms weren’t super clean, lockers jammed packed with people. Barely anyone wearing masks.

This hot springs is probably one of the most amazing things about Colorado. I personally love going in the winter because the pool fogs. The pool closes at 9pm. There Is a large pool that is 90° and a hot pool that is 104°Be very , very careful getting out of the hot pool if youve been in it for awhile. I have seen many people pass out after getting out too quickly. You can rent suits, the parking is free and so are the lockers. The lockers are very easy. You put your item in, shut the door and punch in whatever 4 digit code you can remember and it locks. Definitely a must see

Had trouble finding an entrance to this place. Not that there was no sign but this place seems to be old enough where many cars werent to be accommodated in the original design. Locker room is pretty run down yet pretty clean and wont need a quarter to use the locker. There is a change machine which still operating for some reason. No sign anywhere saying 50 cent isnt needed... just need to figure it out on your own.Well this is definitely a largest hot spring in the world with over 1 million gallon in a single area. One thing I like about this place is there are multiple areas and some have different dept and temperature which would accommodate everyone. Perfect day during cold winter after skiing and outdoor activies in near by area. I had to drive 1 hr from. Beaver Creek and it was well worth it. I think it was like $26 per person to get in. Wanted to enjoy this while it was snowing but didnt get so lucky with weather.Be sure to put the towel near the locker room area so thar you dont get freeze to death during cold winter. Bring a robe from hotel if you can. Enjoy.

Very enjoyable! Since we were here last year they have removed the pay to lock systems on the lockers. That by itself is a great improvement as the old system you many times put in your money and then the lock would foul-up and youd lose the money and youd have to put it in again. Now they have a simple system that you just put in a four digit code to lock and its all covered in your fee to enter the pool. Its about time they did this because the pool entrance fee itself is a little pricey. The water is so comfortably warm and the pool is huge so theres plenty of room to spread out. The time of year we come here in November of course the warm water and cold air make for steamy pictures. LOL

we went at night and the atmosphere was very nice with the christmas lights, the blue glow from the hot spring pool, along with the steam. the locker rooms are close to the pool so we could get inside fairly quickly without freezing. lockers were included with admission so that was nice. we brought our own swimsuits and towels but they are available to rent. i only docked one star because i feel it was a bit overpriced. the only option is a full day for $26 a person. i would’ve liked a cheaper option since we didn’t want to spend all day at the pools. overall it was a nice experience!

This was my first time at a hot spring. This was one of the most relaxing things Ive ever done. After a long few days of hiking this was exactly what I needed. They serve beer inside the café but you cant take it pool side. You can only take your water pool side. This location is really nice because you can spread out a lot in the larger pool and not be on top of each other like other places I have looked into. Jumping from the hot pool to the larger cooler pool was a perfect mix. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Again a great unique Colorado experience. We went during the fall which was perfect weather. This is a natural hot spring so there is some mineral and sulfurish odor that if you cant get past then this isnt the place for you. You can leave and comeback to swim at night until 9 pm I think which is again something special being outdoors in the mountains

Wow !!! This place is amazing ! Laying out in the hot springs surrounded by mouth dropping scenery! We had the opportunity to visit with family for wedding party. These pools/springs are chlorinated . When you get out your skin will have dry white spots .My wife wanted to order food from the grill restaurant. She waited inside for a bit while employees just kept walking past her till one finally told her sorry it was close and not taking orders. My wife asked questions which was dismissed in a rude way . A little expensive ($35 entrance fee + $3 towel rentalbut worth it if you are spending a few hours. Good snack bar with reasonable prices. Showers have nice water pressure. Changing rooms clean. Main pool is plenty big, hot tub is kept at 104*, cool waterslides. Perfect to relax with family, friends, kids, partner, etc. Better to buy membership if you are local.
