Great tour and tasting. The perfect way to learn more about whisky. I strongly recommend it.

An absolute Gem, Lewis was an absolute legend, his knowledge of whisky and places to visit within the North Coast 500 is second to none. Very impressive young man with a great personality and fantastic distillery and cafe. Definitely worth a visit.

We didnt do the tour but the shop itself and staff were excellent very friendly and helpful and purchased a great bottle of scotch. Well worth a visit.

I am inexperienced and don’t know a lot about whiskey aside from a couple that I like. The singletons choices were unfamiliar to me so I was able to sample several new to me types. I discovered a15 year UK Singleton that I really liked so I purchased that to take back to US with me.

Decided to go here as part of NC500 tour where we are trying to get to as many distilleries as possible. As we are lucky enough to have done a number of distillery tours before, we were just looking to buy a bottle of malt whiskey and look around the shop. In comparison to every distillery we’ve been to previously, nobody was available or asked if we needed help. We were astonished to be told, when we asked for a small taste to compare 12 and 15 year old, we were only allowed to try one of them. How on earth do they expect which whiskey we want when a tiniest of tastes isn’t allowed. Very poor customer service we wouldn’t buy this whiskey in the future or book a tour

Colin was a great tour guide. Very informative and funny. Brendan did our tasting with us and he was also very informative, delightful and generous with his time. The Whisky we tasted was delicious and so was the special "Riverside" cocktail we were served. We ended up buying several bottles before we left. Great fun!

We went in the silent season which meant just a warehouse tour and tasting session - but was still well worth it. The tour guide we had was very friendly and knowledgable. Previously not having much insight into whisky or it’s process of being made we learned a lot. Would recommend it to anyone in the area; we took the train up from Inverness but they do drivers packs incase anyone was designated driver so you don’t miss out. Afternoon well spent!

This experience is 1 in a million. The knowledge, the passion, and the expertise make this place a must go for a whisky experience. Be prepared to have to make tough decisions on what to buy, but dont worry, they will guide you every step of the way!

We so enjoyed our visit to Singleton! The facilities are gorgeous and they have a great selection in their store, comfortable seating, and a wide selection at the bar, including locally made baked goods. We were fortunate enough to get a spot on a tour without booking ahead, and our guide Keith was funny and informative. It was very interesting to see the facilities and we really enjoyed the tasting. I’m not a big scotch or whiskey drinker, but Keith had great tips on how to enjoy the drink properly and how to recognize the different flavours. Highly recommend stopping in here.

We went on a Thursday afternoon at about 3 pm. They were painting some strong smelling substance in the entrance area. This wafted through the cafe and bar and ruined the flavour of the cakes that we had bought. Didnt bother getting any whisky because of the awful smell was making me feel sick. Left after daughter had finished her cake. Disappointed

The tour is by far the best one I have experienced in Scotland, I had previously loved the tomatin tour but experiencing the glen ord for the first time in February on my visit to Scotland lead me to go back for more later in the year. The tour guide ADAM is amazing and knowledgeable of the distillery and very charismatic! If youve never done a whisky distillery before, start with this one!

Worth the visit for the tour, very complete and great whiskey testing at the end. The shop is fancy but too expensive.

An excellent place to visit if you are a seasoned whisky drinker or not. The new facility is well laid out, plenty of choice for in house and other whisky purchases. The cafe area offers a great selection of food and drinks. My guide, Colin, for the tour was excellent, humourous, friendly and informative. The tasting at the end of the tour was both in depth and informative too. As I was riding, I took my samples away in a convenient packaging of three sample bottles. I enjoyed them later.I recommend this experience if you ate in the area.

Great visit of the distillery. Our guide was Andrea who was clear and fun. You will see and understand all the process to make whisky starting from the basic ingredients. It ends with tasting 3 Glen Ord whiskies. Cost is 20 pounds per person. 1h15mn. Nice shop. I recommend it.

The location is nice, and the tour was intresting and informative. The tour guide was pleasent and did a good work. He explaind that its not about the taste, its about the expirence... as a driver, i was not able to enjoy the tasting part, but "no problem, there is a driver pack". Indeed, i got a fency one, and expect whole day, to sit, relax and "expirence it". The bigger the expectation the bigger the dissapointment. The bottles in pack were empty. No one told that i need to fill them by myself. i hope other will learn from my singleton bad expirence. Reduce grade for that, feeling that i didnt get full value for money paid ☹️

Having tried to phone to check availability for a tour, on several occasions , we took the chance of buying train tickets to go there. Fully booked for the next 3 days, so no tour and a train straight back to Invergorden as there is not a great deal else to do in otd. Why publish a phone number if you are not going to answer the phone?

We came across this Distillery by chance on our Highlands tour and we really enjoyed the tour offered, even if we are not Whiskeys drinkers. The passion of Audrey, our tour guide, for the process of the whiskey making as well as the facilities, made the tour enjoyable and informative. Highly recommended.

My daughter and I visited the distillery a couple of weeks ago and had a grand time. The visit was great and well-explained, but mostly the staff is super friendly and very competent. We felt like they were really happy to have visitors. Then, the tasting at the end didnt hurt :), and I left with a great bottle of Singleton that goes well with the quaich I bought a couple days later. The gift shop is really nice too. But again, kudos to the whole staff for being so nice and welcoming. Ill come back to Scotland, most definitely!

Very interesting tour, the re-opened location looks beautiful (shop and bar), definitely worth a stop if you‘re travelling through Scotland.

What an amazing tour. Our guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. It was a very inside the factor tour and was really good. Getting to see inside the big containers at the whisky just sitting their and going into the Duty Free Warehouses. It was good to have posters saying where in the process we were, and jars of stuff which could visually represent what we were smelling. We were allowed to take pictures, just not in two areas which was fair enough. The tasting at the end was great, with driver packs for those who couldn’t taste the whisky due to the strict alcohol blood levels in Scotland, and for those two young to drink alcohol, they gave a nice glass of apple juice. The gift shop is amazing, with a £28000 bottle of whisky on display, and the cocktail bar stunning. It is a lovely place, and would highly recommend!

The visitor center is very modern and comfortable. Our tour was nice, maybe a little too many people, and our tour guide was a nice young lady, but still a little inexperienced (nothing against her). The only disappointing part was the tasting, which was quite rushed, it took place standing in the barrel warehouse so we rushed through the 3 whiskies in around 10 minutes. I saw some other groups were doing their tastings inside which would have been preferable. It was however Sunday lunch and very busy, but still would have expected a bit more for 20 pounds.

What a great place to learn about whiskey. David our guide answerd all of our questions. The atmospher of the distillery was very warm and inviting. The design of both the visitor center and the packaging is very modern, yet warm. Diffently worth the time and money.

The new visitor centre and cafe is a beautiful space. There are private tasting rooms, a sensory tasting room, bar, tours, cafe with cakes coffee and charcuterie. Whisky cocktails are available. Whisky shop sells a variety of whiskeys as well as one of the only places to buy The Singleton of Glen Ord.

The new Visitor Centre at the Distillery is awesome. The attention to detail is stunning. Everyone is very friendly and exceptionally helpful. You really must visit here!

This started off our experience of the NC500 and we were not disappointed. Our guide around the distillery had only been there for a month, however we were very impressed. Great to have a guide who knows her stuff 👌 The tasting, even at 11am was great and I walked away with a present from my wife of a 15 year old bottle of single malt whiskey. Well worth the visit 👍

Great tour and really friendly staff! If you only have time to see one distillery whilst here, Id recommend this one. Also be sure to try an old fashioned made by Rachel!

Great time at the Singleton -- tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about not only the distillery itself but also the fun facts of old whisky making. Tasting was brief, but nice to get to try some whisky not typically sold in Scotland

Great expedrience on the tour of the distillery. We were a small group of 8, with two children and we all had fun and learnt about the whisky making process. Colin, our guide, was extremely nice and knowledgeable.

Great tour by our very knowledgeable and humorous guide. I am sure it will be even better when the new visitor centre is complete. 10% off in the shop after the tour was very welcome and I invested in a bottle of The Singleton of Glen Ord 15 year old.

If youre thinking about doing a whiskey tasting while in Inverness make sure its this one. We had an amazing time. We had a bit of an issue with the directions from the email and ended up missing our reservation time but we spoke with Lewis who was beyond helpful and rescheduled us to a later time. Peter was our tour guide he was beyond amazing and so knowledgeable about everything that the group asked. Thank you so much for a lovely evening.

The slightly older gentlement was a lovely guide. Funny, friendly and passionated. We loved the tour and would recommend. You get the chance to taste 2 whiskies at the end (including a 18yoand if you have to drive you can take them home in a bag, very thoughtful. Everything in the shop is on a 10% discount if youve taken the tour.

What a great experience. The tour was very in depth and educational. Our tour guide answered all questions we could throw at him. The gift shop was nice. The distillery exclusive scotch was by far my favorite. The smells in the distillery were 10/10. I could stay there all day. They also have a new visitor center they are building that will be open roughly in April 2022.

This was an absolutely lovely experience. My tour guide, David, was extremely knowledgable, friendly, enthusiastic and open to all the questions this nerdy mind could think of. You could feel that he was a true whiskey lover and really enjoyed talking about it. I was shown every bit of the process - the warehouse with all the barrels being my favorite. I learned so much and would recommend this particular distillery to everyone.

Interesting and informative tour with David. Not a whisky fan but enjoyed the tour, the lovely smells as we walked around and even the tasting!

We came here for a whisky tour and it was fantastic. Im a big fan of this whisky so it was a joy to see round the factory. We were taken round the distillery and shown how whisky was made, which was super interesting and the smell was also amazing! Our guide really knew his stuff and was engaging throughout and at the end he guided us through the different whiskies that we tasted. It was also extremely good value for money and they even bottled the tastings for us to take away as I was driving

Amazing experience.. we couldnt book in advance but could pick a list and do our tasting from their cafe.

Had a great wee tasting. Only £8,50 and u get 3 tastings. And if youre driving you can take them away. David the chap who gave us the tasting was very informative and helpful

Our guide, David, was a star. His chat through the history of the distillery and the whisky process was pitched at exactly the right level. The tasting was great and we came away with a little gift. The driver in our group could also take her tasting samples away in little bottles. Plus we got a 10% discount in the on site shop. All in all a great experience and a nice break between walking and sightseeing.

Really nice tour but not the cheapest. Tasting three malts plus a wee bonus made up for it. Still one of my absolute favourites

We did the distillery tour with David (who was brilliantly knowledgeable and personableand it was fantastic. I have drunk a fair amount of whisky over the years but was largely unaware of how it is made. The tour was very informative and even with Covid restrictions you didnt feel you were missing anything. The whole facility is very nicely laid out and you get a special gift included with the tasting at the end which was unexpected but a lovely touch. Excellent value for money and would highly recommend.

A really great experience with my tour & tasting today. Felt very safe & they did great with covid regulations, and the bonus was that we had a very small tour group — so a much more personal experience. Our tour guide Kyle was wonderful, and all the staff were really friendly. Would recommend!

Go! This is THE distillery to visit, especially during COVID-19. 8£ for a self guided tour (not in the distilleryand a tasting. Plus amazing staff who make the experience very much worth it!

Went for the flavours of Scotland tour. I had never visited a distillery before and I found that it was really interesting, and got me doing more research after it. The explanations during the guided tour were concise and professional, although maybe did not go much into detail. I think that the tasting of three different scotch at the end may not have been necessarily aimed at whiskey conossieurs but rather at beginners like me, as the contrast between whiskies was quite extreme (they were all 12 year). Maybe the tour where 12, 15 and 18 year singletons were tasted would have been better. Still, well worth the visit.

Took the "Grain to Glass" tour and absolutely loved it! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Learned so much about the history of Scotch whiskey as well as the distillery itself. This tour is worth the extra ££ and the tastings at the end are a great way to cap off the 90-minute tour. Thank you, Glen Ord!!!
