Very nice people. Was during one day lay over. Had pleasure learning a lot from them.
Love this place, whether you buying or just looking. Great group! A* My go to place whenever I need a unique and fun gift or just want to treat myself. Great staff! They also support local clubs (Socaand charities. Thanks guys 😊
Very fun place. Enjoyed making my ornamental glass. Was able to blow my own glass ornaments with very helpful and encouraging staff...thanks so much for the memories.
Amazing glass gallery. The kids really enjoyed participating in making their own glass pumpkin. AAAA++
They have great glass art and are so nice, you can watch them make the glass.
Watching the craftsmen make the pieces is not too be passed up. They were all very informative, and kept telling us what was going on during each stage of their work. There are some gorgeous pieces and some fun pieces in the store.
We did glass blowing classes there last year and it was so much fun. We had awesome teachers that were very personable. From the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out...was a superb experience!Itwas a very quick process but still very cool and definitely worth the price. We will be going back again this year and many years after.
A large gallery with a lot of items for sale, though a lot of it was ornaments, glasses etc. which is probably at price points for the general public. Id like to see more unusual, and yes, more expensive works fir a collector. There are multiple stations for DIY and theyre very flexible about how much or how little you want to be involved. Just realize that your items need to cool down (annealfor a day before you can pick it up or it can be shipped.
The glass forge is interesting. You can learn about glass blowing, watch others create and even try you own hand at it. The gift shop offer many hand made glass items.
Beautiful glass work. Outside temp 89 degrees, inside temp 150 degrees...fun and worth the heat! Nice people great glass work.
Super friendly staff and some amazing pieces.. cant wait to go back and create my inner masterpiece.
It was a nice glass shop. You can watch them make glass pieces. For $35 you can make you own little glass ball.
Fun to watch them blow the glass and make beautiful pieces of art and items you can use everyday.
This place is so much fun! We went for my daughters birthday and she got to make her own mug!
Friendly staff, great demonstration
My sister and I are from California we came up here to grants Pass to take care of our 79-year-old mother while she had surgery stop by the gallery and had the pleasure of meeting some of the master glass blowers. The glass work is phenomenal and we were able to sit and watch them at their craft. The detailing of each and every piece blown was impeccable you don’t want to miss coming by this place while visiting grants Pass thank you so much Dennis and Nathan
Friendly employees gave us a cool demonstration and made a glass pumpkin in front of us. Really cool, I recommend stopping by if youre interested in glass blowing
Very cool place. We went to go and make our own glass orb. It was a little less hands on than I thought (but what was I thinking, of course theyre not going to let you play with 2,000° glass). Still very informative and interesting. We will definitely be going back to do it again.
Nice selection of resident artist pieces at very reasonable prices. Nice staff. Fascinating to watch the creation process up close. Next time we will help make our own piece!
This is the most awesome place in downtown gp. If youve never been, go now!!!! The staff is so warm and welcoming. We had the most amazing experience that will never be forgotten.
This by far was one of the best days out. We cannot say thank you enough to the staff for making our family day so fun. From start to finish they were amazing. We called ahead and made a reservation for our larger group. They explained everything, we all got to make a glass piece. They told us the history, explained how it all works. It was So much fun. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a activity that is off the beaten path, easy for all ages, pretty and easy. Our pieces were even done on time, and all was flawless. Thank you Glass Forge Gallery and studio!
Beautiful showroom and we were invited into the workshop area to see the artists at work close up. Really cool place!
This is the coolest glass shop Ive ever been to souly because they let you get right up near the workers to watch them. Very intimate experience and they have a lot of really great cheep trinket items for gifts along with high end glass.
The Glass forge is so much fun. From just buying small trinkets, to watching them make vases and all sorts of goodies, to paying the $35 to blow your own ornament! The people there are all fun, kind, and informative, and it is fun watching them work. If you have a few minutes while strolling historical Downtown Grants Pass, pop in and make an ornament!
The guys are great! So many beautiful creations big and small.
My first time in the store, the glass pieces they have for sale are fantastic. From ornaments to works of art, something for everyone. Perfect Christmas gift is a gift certificate to make your own ornament. A really special place to go.
Always on our short list of businesses to visit when we are in town (from Michigan). We had the opportunity to share this experience with our 3 kids this time, and they LOVED it. The artists are always welcoming, informative, and perhaps unintentionally always have made it inspirational for a first timer. Stop in if you are in town and explore, learn and make a purchase 😁. Help keep this artistic trade thriving.
A gallery full of absolutely beautiful pieces of glass artwork. We were lucky enough to go on a day that the actual glass blower was there doing his thing. Half of the building is the gallery the other half is the art studio with big windows so you can watch. Jason let us come in the art studio and watch him while he created a beautiful, one of a kind, glass paperweight. Very interesting to watch someone so talented with such beautiful results. Definitely worth a visit if youre in grants pass.
Amazing glass blowing shop!! Our daughters got to create their own glass blown items.Shop guys had a great attitude and took the time to explain to us the process
Very friendly, fun staff. Beautiful colorful glass art. Frivolous autumn pumpkins. We all had fun. I made a Christmas globe.
Beautiful glasswork that will make the perfect gift for the person in your life who already has everything. You can also stop by to see the artisans work! Its amazing to see the pieces come to life.Lee and his team are wonderful community supporters! They help out with Rogue Winterfest every year and their creativity knows no bounds.
I highly recommend visiting this place. The staff were very attentive and astutely aware of their audience and safety. Kept us engaged and entertained. Taught my boys about glass and silica. Our pieces came out great.
Great experience! Made two wine glasses, and had a lot of fun doing it. Their glass work is really beautiful, great place to buy a really unique and special gift.
A group of relatives from out of town wanted to visit The Glass Forge after reading about it on the internet. Jason Laret demonstrated making a glass vase, and I was fortunate to be able to buy it. Its so beautiful, pictures do not do it justice. While there are so many amazing items available to purchase at their store, there is something extra special when you can actually watch a work of art appear before your eyes. I highly recommend The Glass Forge experience to anyone who lives in or visits Grants Pass, Oregon.
Such an awesome artistic experience to have with our kids. Everyone was very welcoming and kind. They all Took the time to really explain the process. I’d highly recommend taking the time to experience this wonderful art.
This place is awesome!! There were so many cool colors to pick from to "blow up" into a pumpkin. They were easy and thorough with the instructions. They also shipped the pumpkins to us because we dont live in Oregon. I love this place!
They did beautiful work on the memorial glass I ordered. I found something that I liked but wanted it a little different. I explained to them what I wanted it to look like with colors and everything came out perfect. Very reasonably priced and caring professional people work here, Thank you so much to the workers at Glass Forge Gallery.
Very beautifully made items. Pricey but worth it. Watched the glass blowers make Christmas bulbs. Fascinating.Update: We returned to Grants Pass and visited the factory again and purchased a paperweight. We then got a lighted base for it and put it on display in our home. It shows the colors an pattern so beautifully that we get wonderful compliments from everyone who comes to the house.Currently we are in contact with the factory to create a personal peace for us and to have it either videotaped or to watch it via webcam as they do as they created based on my request of colors and style. It is such a wonderful place that make sure design dreams come true.I highly recommend you take the time to visit ask questions and watch their great creative process. Allow yourself enough time to really enjoy the showroom. You can look at it and walk around two or three times and still find something new that you missed the first time. Its all so beautiful.
What a unique and fun experience getting to blow our own glass orb. We also really enjoyed how knowledgeable and pleasant the glass blowers were. Beautiful shop!
Great glad studio and we even got to blow(assistour own ornaments!
Beautiful glassware and sculptures greet your eyes once you step inside the store. Reasonable priced too. Pieces start at $3 for tiny glass critters and go up from there depending on size and difficulty of design. They had some really cute pumpkins for about $20.You can make your own too. It is a most unusual treat for kids and friends to make their own cup or bowl. Call them for more information.
I took my children here today and was beyond impressed with the friendliness, talent, and general feel of the place. They were SO informative, funny, and fun! My kids have been watching glass blowing on you tube and were SO happy to not only see it in real life, but the guys let them help with molds and paddling. It was super cool. I would recommend everyone spend an hour or two here watching these talented men and supporting this beautiful art form.
So amazing! Very talented! The staff is so friendly and informative. They welcome guests and did a great job teaching us about their work. My husband and I made an ornament together, $30. Went in at 11:30am our piece was ready by noon the next day;Would definitely recommend stopping by to see and/or make something!
Great place to see live glass production. Friendly people and cool works of glass art that you can use.
I absolutely love this place and the beautiful pieces they make. Its fascinating to watch them work in the shop and then browse the completed work. We have custom made champagne flutes as a wedding gift from my mother and many smaller pieces weve purchased over the last 10+ years! A must see in Grants Pass
Beautiful glass work! Will let you go back and watch the glass work in process & explain what they are doing and why. They do custom work as well as having stuff to buy already made.
It was a fun shop that had beautiful glass work. The best thing about the shop where the employees who were super friendly and enjoyed showing us how to make theyre glass work
If you are looking for some beautiful works of functional art for your home or something new and exciting for your collection this is your place. They have it all. Jewelry, lamps, knick knacks, ornaments, statues, vases, glasses and more. They also take special orders and have a discount table for items that came out with a little extra character. Our family has made it a tradition to blow our own ornaments each year around Christmas. Its so much fun and you end up with a beautiful memento to mark the cherished memory. Even the little ones can do it and it wont break the bank! Call ahead first if you have a large group so they can block out some time for you.
This was awesome! My children asked tons of questions and the staff was so patient and informative and seemed to enjoy teaching them. My kids were so excited and fascinated with the process of blowing glass and making a ball with staff help, along with all the glass art.
Awesome place with awesome people! I payed a small fee to make my own glass piece! It takes 24 hours to cool before it can be picked up but I highly recommend this place!
