Glarokavos BeachBar in Polygyros

Loved it. In September it was 10euro per person minimum per day, really low. Clean toilets, showers, change rooms. Food had big portions, was tasty and well cooked. A lot of shade, good for families as well.

It was fine but when you ordee Glenfiddich they serve a cheap blended scotch :)

Overall well made, beautiful bar. There is some thick shade under the mature trees and comfy sun chairs. The music is pleasant and not too loud as at many other places. There is 10€ consumption per person and no additional fees for umbrellas, which is fine, but the prices for drinks and food are kind of steep.

Great bar. A lot of trees and shadow. Clear beautiful sea. Very nice waiters. Great food. Great wi-fi.

could be better. when i ask for an umbrella and 2 sunbeds they dont let me choose one, just send a very annoyed young lady to take me to one that is dirty and far from sea. and it is not even a clean beach. prices high. but great music, the atmosphere becomes ok towards afternoon..

Like all the beach bars in this particular area of Greece that profit matters more than service!

Nice beach and it used to be very very good until 5y ago but now 40 euros for sunbeds?! Ok. No problem. But for a sunbed that cant move because its like a heavy coffin and you are now allowed not you can move it. So one person is in the shade and the other person is in the sun. So unpractical and crazy. 😀😄😁 its not just about being fancy.

Great fancy bar, natural sun whole day shade if you are lucky, great music, very cozy atmosphere, cleanliness on high level. Minimum consumption were 20€ per person, prices are comparable to the other beach bars (6€).

this place is extremely overrated! beach is rocky, sea is dirty and deep, music is too loud so we decided to leave, prices are too high for this type of a beach and staff is not really kind. photos of the food that they put on the internet are not real, so I’ll leave you a photo of chicken tortilla so you can see how small i it is. all in all, a true disappointment!

Dont go there if you dont have a rezervation and before 10 am.

The beach is great and the music is very loud...not for family

Staff is slow , they rise prices on the weekends , internet - is faster than actual workers and it was slow . Food was actually really good. But i wouldnt recommend this place for people with children because of loud music .

20 EUR consummation per person in order to take sunbets. Generally a very nice vibe of the place with cool music. Food was pretty good as well. Overall, would recommend.

We were there 2 times - the first day they told us that there is a minimum consumption of 20 euro per person. The next day for the same sunbeds and umbrellas the minimum was 10 euro. We wanted to make a reservation for the third day, but surprise - "there is no need because these sunbeds are not allowed for reservation anyway, you just have to come early tomorrow". So we go there at 10:20 and surprise - they are already reserved 😃. Guys, please, if someone from the staff is reading this - make clear the rules for such accommodation. The location, sunbeds, cuisine and waiters are great, but you just dont know how to make business.. And just for info - both days our bill was around 100 euro so there is no need for such games. Just make it clear and this is going to be the best place in Kassandra..

Not the best beach to stay and bar as well. Not so polite staff, even rude, part of them, not everybody. The food is not good. The umbrellas beach and elephant beach are much better places to stay. Total waste of time was to be at glarokavos.

Not a bad bar but the service is the worst. You need to spend 20 euro per person but you cant because of the service. We order a cocktails 2 times but we didnt get any

The stuff was so rude! They didnt let my 17 month old son eat his 3 cherrys and 1 peach I brouhgt on the beach for him with an explanation they have food and fruit salad in the bar.. It was for A BABY not for us adults! When I asked her to bring a puree of smashed lens with eggplant, potato and zucchini she said they dont have any but offered my 17 months old son to eat a club sandwich and fried potato chips!! She was so rude she even took away the crackers od another 4-5 year girl who was eating them on the beach! I am never coming back on this beach ever again! 😩

Awesome relaxing beach bar, music was not too loud, there was a great atmosphere. Also there is a huge parking space so you dont have to worry about your car. Waiters are realy friendly, and the food was ok. Other prices for drink sre normal such as 4e frappe, 5e beer, 0.5e watter. The sunbeds are free but there is a 10e consumption fee per person.

Stay away if your plan is to enjoy the beach and dont care for the club esthetics. Go if you are 18 and your plan is to post as many photos as possible on IG from a second rate Mykonos wannabe place...

The best place to visit on Pefkochori. One of the best beaches. The staff is very kind and helpful. Delicious cocktails!

They charge whatever they want at the moment, between 10 and 30 euros. The beach is full of sunbeds and no sand but plain ground. The sea is fine, but it belongs to everybody. The food is average and overpriced as well as the coffee. The worst of our experience was the business manager who was rude claiming that its ok for 5 adults to pay 20 euros each and one of them has to sit on a wooden chair and the others on sunbeds. He claimed that they do whatever they want and nobody checks them. Really now? Is that attidude ok? After all if you want you can establish an entrance ticket and pay the IRS as you should.

10 euro minimum consumption / person. Free sunbeds and umbrellas making it one of the most honest beach bars in Kassandra. However they wont let you move the sunbeds to the shade of your umbrella which is freaking annoying and makes no sense (covid is just an excuse - the real reason is the appearance of the beach bar). Anyway, personnel is kind and the sea is good enough to pass a day; wouldnt recommend for more.

Very good spot, mostly small pebbles so no sand castle building here. Nice water not too shallow so able to swim. Some fish seen snorkeling. Friendly staff €10 for 2 frappe coffees and sun lounges free.

We arrived on an empty beach. All beds were available, but we were not allowed to pick our own sunbeds. The staff looked very posh, I geuss we did not, because they wanted to give us 4 sunbeds for €40 but all the way in the back in a corner far away from the sea! Redicoulous and scandalous! Bad for tourism!!! Shame on you!

High level beach bar in crystal clear beach.

A nice beach bar.. nothing special.. good music nice vibes.. young people in general.. you dont pay for sunbeds and no min consumption required. Not bad for a day or 2..

Been there for many years, the best big beach bar in this region. The surroundings with the grass and trees are beautiful. The entrance of the beach is also great here. They make nice frappes with bottled water included for free (and sunbed also included). I never met anyone impolite here, everyone is relaxed or minding their own business, so I question the reviewers claiming otherwise.

Beach is nice but too crowded with way too much sunbeds in a row. The so calling manager of this place needs to change job position cause he is not up for the job.. the pregnant woman and woman with small babies need to have priority and not to be moved from one sunbad to another because of "reservation". Reservation should be properly marked or the stuff should immediatelly told people which one is avalible so people dont put all the stuff down and take all towels out and then to be moved.The stuff should prepare the beach before people arrive sunbeds are always dirty, toilets are awful and beach is full of trash...For the prices of drinks and food (way too expensivethis all needs to be in top condition.

The staff was very impolite. I had the courage to ask for something at the bar. I was denied and promptly escorted to my sunbed. This place does not have a relaxing atmosphere, as one can feel the pressure exerted by the establishment to earn as much money as possible, with a complete disregard for their clients experience.

I have been visiting Glarokavos Beach Bar for many years. I always left this beach bar satisfied! They have a convenient parking spot that can fit hundreds of cars. Also, they offer a big variety of food and drinks and the prices are (beach barnormal. (One umbrella= one drink). In addition, the employes here are always happy and willing to serve you. Moreover, the beach bar has a beautiful atmosphere with long trees and with grass (something which you don’t see often in Greek beach bars). Also, if someone has children he can ask for a seat under the trees for a better shade and comfort. Something negative is that a lot of the deck chairs are old and not very comfortable. However, I would highly recommend someone to visit this place.

great place. the sea is absolutely gorgeous here. the bar has nice sunbeds and chairs. the service is quick and pleasant - unlike other beachbars on the eastern coast of Kassandra. a great experience.

Nice music, not too loud, bit pricey, would prefer a little bit more distance between the sun beds. No need to listen to what everyone is saying next to us!

We came here in the morning of 15.07 with my small son and my wife. After swimming my son asked for an ice cream so I went to the bar. I planned also to by some drinks and snacks as we were planning to stay there for half of the day.However the barmen was yelling at we that they are closed and I should wait for 10-15 minutes. He never explained if they are closed or not, if they just need some time of not, but he yelled at his customer.We went to another place as there are plenty of them. I’m here for 3 weeks but I will not ever come back to this place and I do not recommend you neither

I believe Service, Conveniences and Prices are of the same quality in every beach bar in this area. The beach and water are both good.

Great beach bar. Clean, not too pricey. Recommendation!
