I did not stay at Gizo hotel for accommodation, but I often came to the hotel for dance classes with Alice! Every Friday the hotel puts on a beautiful traditional dance performance. Its a great way to spend a Friday night in Gizo, and the food at Gizo hotel is excellent! Alice was a wonderful teacher and friend to us during our stay in Gizo. Alice is so talented and enthusiastic about teaching Hula dancing - definitely go to Gizo hotel, even if its just for watching or even taking part in awesome dance classes with Alice!

Close to markets and boat to airport. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Lovely restaurant and bar area. Decent spacious rooms with air con and fans, comfortable beds and clean. Many of the rooms overlooking tropical gardens and pool. Definitely the best place to stay in Gizo.
