Tasty beef steak with pepper sauce, nicely cooked vegetables. Yes a bit of a wait but worth it. Waitresses did smile!

This is the kind of surprise which majes travel in Lithuania delightful. We enjoyed a snack and drinks in the restaurant. As with anything larger than a kiosk in Lithuania, they had an espresso machine and made me anice cappucino. They have a large back room, many play areas, and nice original art which is so characteristic of Lithuania. The restrooms were clean.

A perfect place for a wedding. Building and garden are built with quality material.Very large lawn with kids activities and sports fields.They have a small zoo as well (deer etc. but only saw them from the hotel breakfast room as we were in a hurry.The main building has 4 very large bedrooms. These can be used as hotel rooms or weddings long stay.The service was kind and breakfast was limited to what you have agreed the night before (omelette or pancakes).Coffee and orange juice were good.Be aware that the trucks on the main road is source of noise in case your bedroom is facing that direction.

Perfect pits stop on route to the Hill of Crosses. Tasty cepelinai (Potato-meat dumplings also known as zeppelins, a traditional Lithuanian dish.And very good lithuanian bitters as well.

Amazing food and service

Had lunch here with a group. It was cool outside, but the heater made the restaurant feels like one big oven. We asked the first waitress if they can turn the heater down a bit. The waitress didnt even let us finish the sentence and said No rudely while turning away. I thought it was maybe the culture here, but since there are other waitresses way nicer than this first one, I doubt so.The food was so-so, the soup was nice but main course has no taste at all. The fish has fishbones all over and was hard to eat. Finally, the ice cream was too sweet and because of the heater inside the ice cream melted even before it reaches our table.I hope the restaurant can listen to its customer more. If there are customers sweating as hell and trying to tell you its hot in here, they shouldnt have to go wait for their food outside the restaurant and comeback in just to quickly finish it with no good explanation other than no. Please, try to respect our needs even if we are asians with broken English.Ps. Thank you the other waitress for being nice, I intended to give a 1-star review, but thanks to you I will give an additional star.

Great place.. Near the crossing hill.. The room was big enough for me.. The place has beautiful sorounding.. The restaurant got vraity of food.. Breafast is only omlet or pancake..

Consistently good over the years I have been visiting this place, very reasonable for price, wide select and english menu even thou some of it is a bit tricky to understand, its part of the fun! Drinks selection wide and reasonable too. Everytime I go to Hill of Crosses or Siaulai I like to stop here if I have time.

Rather pricy compared to the other places I have visited. Charcio soup was good, dishes made out of potatoes were not that pricy and good. Pork steak was rather small. All in all, if you are hungry, stop and eat. If you are less hungry and dont want to overpay, keep on driving.

Totally number one place to go for food after crosses hill visiting time. Lots of traditional food options, helpful and friendly staff. Its not too expensive too. I recommend to take fried bread with cheese dip for snacks and any kind of cepelinai for a main dish.

I wasnt aware that it took 20 minutes to fry an egg for a near empty dining room but according to the waitress, all solid foods on their menu would take that long to arrive. My salt water with a side of beef and tomato arrived at the table with the same dead stare and silence that accompanied my order. Great place if you enjoy icy attitudes and general mediocrity.

This review is for the restaurant / cafe. We stopped by this place on our way down to Vilnius for a quick bite. Apparently, almost every single item on the menu takes 20 minutes to prepare, even the eggs; what are they doing, talking to the chickens? The only items that were fast were the soups, so we all ended up getting soup. I had the salmon soup which was very fishy and watery. The beef soup was a little better but also pretty watery. The complimentary bread was whatever-- it didnt come with butter or anything and tasted okay.Servers were also very rude. No smiles and very curt. They did not look very happy to work here and did not make us feel any more welcome.

We had a late lunch. The food was average. Not impressed with the service. It was very slow and they forgot the extra drink we ordered. The prices were fair. The settings were nice.

The service was quick in my opinion. The server we got had difficulties with english but it was enough to communicate order. Alcohol was alcohol. :)
